Description

From USA Today Bestselling author, MJ Fields, comes a gripping story of love and it's many truths.

Once upon a time, Luke Lane loved a little, stubborn, delusional girl, and that little girl was me. My fairytale happy ever after always included my black-haired, blue-eyed, knight in shining armor, and that knight was Luke Lane. Then I grew up and convinced myself that it wasn’t a fairytale after all. It was Fate.

I twisted Fate to make her story come to life, but Fate fought back, and now I am looking at a man I still love, but he doesn’t feel the same. I have to walk away. Not just for me, but for him. And not for the version of him who broke my heart, but for the version who was truly a knight in shining armor to the little girl I was, so many fairy tales ago.

Stunning Story Loved this story. This book wrecked me. It was an emotional roller coaster. I have never been pulled so emotionally into a book. As I was with this one. This is my all time favorite read to date. I felt all of Ava's pain, anger, hurt and happiness.Ava is a strong woman who thought she had everything figured out. She was sure she was in love. She got crushed. Another man who has loved her sense they first sight shows her everything she is missing. Then her world is ripped apart again. MJ you nailed this story. It was perfect. A must read. Have tissues ready.

This is the story that needed to be told, but was almost impossible to write. It is the poignant story of Ava and her love for Luke. Separated by more than age, she always admired him and loved him quietly. But he grew up fast and enlisted in the Military and changed beyond recognition.

Sometimes we see only what we want to see. In Ava's case, she always saw Luke as the boy she grew up adoring. It was a cruel awakening when she finally had to face the reality her fantasies were just that.

As I read this story I could not stop wanting to know more. I warn you, it is deeply real, poignant, and will take you through a range of emotions you will not be able to control. Having said that, this is also a beautiful love story of the permanence of love, growing up, and second chances. Most definitely recommend this book to all adults. Warning: Just make sure you have plenty of tissues. You will not eye a dry eye by the time you finish this story.

As the tittle says, this is Ava’s story. She’s a stubborn, determined young woman that has known what she wants for a long time and has been working towards her goals both in her career and her personal life. Unfortunately, what we want is not always what we are going to get and, when she sees her love life is not going to work the way she planned, she’ll learn the path of true love is not always what we hope it will be.
This is not my first read by Ms. Fields, but should qualify as such as the other books were light and fun, totally different from this one. This book tells a story of love in all its beauty and splendor as well as the pain, agony and heartache that comes with it and after 8 hours of finishing it, I still feel the effects of a most solid book hungover. This book gripped my heart in so many ways. It’s beautiful, written from the heart in the most impeccable way and, though I’m admittedly a crier, I hadn’t cried like this while reading a book in a really long time.
This book is a great read, fast paced with detailed background stories of the characters and whether you’re already a fan or new to Ms. Fields work, you should read it and enjoy the path of the 27 Truths.

Right off the bat, I have to say that MJ Fields has touched every possible emotion and then some through this remarkable story. I believe that anyone that reads this story will go through serious withdrawals and cry so much that you’d think a pipe had burst. I can’t count how many times she’s managed to spring a smile from my tear stained face.

I can’t say anymore other than this is a must read! For me, this is by far the best book that I’ve read by MJ Fields and I look forward to reading more in the future.

I highly recommend!

I'm not even sure how to write my review for this book. It has broke me, I knew going in this wasn't going to be an easy book to read, I just didn't know it would affect me this way. There is so much heart break in this one story and also a lot of love. I can't say much more without giving spoilers. I have read the Wrapped Series and that one killed me, but this one destroyed me. I can't wait for more, even knowing what I'm in store for.

I am shattered by this book. I am struggling to write this review. I am not a cryer at books. I'm just not, however, This book brought the feels and more. I was so distraught at points, there were tears in my eyes. I am in love with the story though. It is so beautifully frustrating. I can't wait for the next book! I am dying to read it. I don't want to spoil anything in the story so I will leave it there and just say BUY THIS BOOK!
