Description

Were hybrid, Georgia Walker, has spent months avoiding Marcus, the wolf shifter otherwise known as the pain-in-her-ass. The brooding and stalkerish enforcer makes her lips curl in a snarl, but her skin tighten with need—a combination of reactions that has Georgia tense and less than her usual, affable self. She’s spent her entire life struggling to fit in with her pack. She doesn’t need Marcus around tempting her to flex her control and limits.

Marcus Legrand loves a good chase, and Georgia stirs more than his love of a good hunt. Despite how well Georgia tries to hide behind her snarky sarcasm, he sees more than he knows she’s comfortable with. Her scowls can’t hide the flare of heat that sparks between them each time they meet. He’s tired of Georgia running from him at every turn, but the too-smart-for-her-own-good she-wolf excels at pushing his buttons.

When Georgia's father, current alpha to the Golden Pack announces his successor, it tilts Georgia's world on its axis. With unknown forces endangering the pack, Marcus and Georgia are forced to put aside their differences and work together, even as fate and attraction pulls them closer together.

I received a free ARC in exchange for an honest opinion.

Georgia has spent a year trying to ignore Marcus. Even though she gives him attitude he knows she is just covering up her feelings. He knows she is attracted to him.

Georgia is a wolf shifter/witch and Marcus is a wolf shifter. Georgia was raised with her parents in a loving home. He father is also the pack alpha. Although she loves her pack, they all haven't made her feel comfortable. Many don't trust her because she is half witch. She holds herself back because of this. She has some special powers but hides them.

Marcus is an enforcer. He is well respected in his job. He is kind of a loner but is really starting to like living with this pack. He finds himself getting more comfortable everyday. He knows Georgia is his mate, as she does and ignores. He isn't willing to let her ignore it anymore....

Danger is coming to the pack and Marcus and Georgia are key players in it's survival. Will they survive the evil? Each other?

I really enjoyed this book. As much as Georgia pushes Marcus away it made me laugh. Since wolves have a strong sense of smell, he can certainly smell her hormones flying around! Although arrogant, he is a good man and he really does care about Georgia.

Georgia has spent so much time holding back her powers that it could mean the end of the pack if she doesn't become true to herself. She needs all her power and her confidence to get through this.

If you are into shifters you will enjoy this book. The characters are developed enough that I felt like I knew enough about them throughout the story. The flow of the book is very good, no confusion there. I do recommend it.

This book is based around Georgia Walker she is a hybrid were, she's half wolf shifter and half witch from her mother. Georgia is also an alpha female her father is her packs alpha Darius Walker is alpha to Golden pack. Because of her hybrid status the rest of the pack don't really trust her and she also has powers like she can tell if someone is lieing and is stronger than a full were wolf. Marcus Legrand works for the high council doing there, he also had secrets that the council know about. Marcus also gave Georgia a nickname of Gigi. Marcus and Georgia don't really get on, now that's an understatement Georgia hates him. There is trouble a head for the pack and Georgia and Marcus will have to work together. I hope there is more of the series to come I would like to read more abut the pack member and other alphas in the area.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was a collection of “parts” that could have been read as individual short stories or a nice compilation. I obviously chose the whole set and it reads as a nice story arc.

Georgia is a witch-were hybrid who is trying desperately not to open herself up to anyone. She’s been hiding herself for years, so it should come naturally at this point. Marcus, however, seems to be the only person who throws her into a tailspin. He seems to have eyes only for Georgia and is not turned off at all by her constant refusal. He started his time with the pack simply filling in as beta to Georgia’s alpha father. That has slowly grown into a more permanent situation when it became clear that Georgia was his.

This simple reluctant paranormal romance gets a twist in the form of encroaching rogue forces. The pack must make some drastic changes and Georgia must accept what she’s meant to be in order to survive. There is also the little problem of someone in the pack turning traitor. All of these things combine to make for an overprotective Marcus, a determined Georgia, and a whole pack at risk. This group of characters had a great intro that left me interested in their individual stories. Will we get more? What other enforcers get mates? When do I get to read about them?
