A feast she wasn't expecting!

Clover Greene would sooner crawl into her oven than host family for Thanksgiving dinner. Yet another annual ritual of too much food, served with a side of criticism over "Clover's Bad Life Choices." This year, she needs to distract them all—with a handsome fake boyfriend. And she has the perfect guy in mind.

Contractor Erick Fields is the poster boy for sexy single dads, and Clover has been secretly crushing on him for ages. She certainly wasn't expecting Erick to agree to her insane charade…or to add lots of hot, wicked sex to the deal. If they can pull it off, the worst Thanksgiving ever might give them something to be really thankful for!

"Nothing and everything."

The Men at Work series is like a min-vacation in my mind. I can't tell you how much fun I've had with these crazy characters that Tiffany Reisz thought up. She's a word wizard and I'm a willing participant in the spells that she casts. These little nuggets that she's written for Harlequin Blaze are amazing, and so entertaining. Who knew that they published erotic romance? I sure didn't, but let me tell you, these stories are most definitely blazing hot!

Clover had my respect and admiration for taking on a teenage employee that nobody else would hire. I was proud of her for seeing past the bold statement of her appearance and actions to the heart hidden beneath the purple hair. I just wish she would take some of that determination to fly in the face of public opinion and apply it to her own life. The fact that her teenage assistant suggested she hire a male escort to pretend to be her fake boyfriend to appease her judgmental family should have been a wake-up call that she needed to make some changes. It broke my heart to see the damage her family was doing to her self esteem. Apparently her assertive behavior only applied to her business and her employees, but not to herself. I have to admit that I got pretty worked up over the situation and may have been guilty of offering up some unsolicited advice throughout as she prepared to host Thanksgiving for her cruel and opinionated family.

Thankfully Erick stepped up and agreed to become her 'fake boyfriend' to help her out during the holidays. He was so grateful that she was willing to hire his daughter, Ruthie, that he wanted to show his appreciation by returning the favor. Her positive influence on his daughter was something that was priceless to him so it was the least he could do, right? He'd keep to himself that he'd had a crush on her for the last year but chose not to act on it because she was his daughter's boss. But hey, she was asking, so who was he to refuse? Surely they could convince her family that he wanted her... he did.

Erick decided that if he could survive raising an opinionated teenage daughter, he could handle Clover's family. Even though he had been warned, he was still surprised when he experienced it first hand. Clover was hoping that her 'fake boyfriend' would turn into her 'real boyfriend', but didn't have much hope that he wouldn't run for the hills once he was confronted by the crazy that was her family. "He was the most erotic, sexy, sensual, dirtymouthed man she'd ever known." She wanted to keep him. If she could just survive Thanksgiving dinner without any casualties, maybe they could turn what was left of it into Her Naughty Holiday.
