Thank you for your interest in OPUS and our publishing program. We encourage requests from reviewers, bloggers, media professionals, librarians, booksellers and educators. Many of you will already be on our pre-approved galley list, or will be qualified by virtue of your Profile page.
We distribute galleys to a wide range of attentive professionals in a serious position to pass their take on our books to their American audiences.
We extend a special welcome to those viewing our titles for the first time.
We evaluate requests based on these profile factors: 1) venue/outlet stature and relevance of subject; 2) reach—circulation/unique monthly visitors/follower count; 3) outlet's targeted audience; 4) writer's relevant field of specialty; 5) frequency and extent of activity; 6) ratio of approved requests approved to number of actual reviews.
The more evidence you can provide of the consequence of your position, the more likely we will despatch you a galley forthwith. If, say, you work at a library or a bookstore, do you manage purchasing, events, or reviews? Are you instrumental in book-talking?
We would appreciate seeing links to websites, blogs and media outlets. If you are a blogger, please include your URL in the company field of your profile.
How do we contact you? Please make sure we have a hard address, an email address and a phone contact.
If demand for a particular title outstrips our limited allotment, we apologize for letting you down. But we hope you will give us a chance to send you another OPUS title on another occasion soon.
Should, as we hope, we honor your request, we would be grateful to receive your review via NetGalley together with its run date. To avoid your review appearing before books are available, please attempt to schedule it no earlier than 30 days before pub date.
Brief quotations may be used only where OPUS, the Author, and all relevant copyright notices are referenced. If you receive uncorrected galleys, please check quotation with finished book.
Thank you again for your interest in our authors and books.
