The Labyrinth is a dark fantasy novel, bordering on horror. It's not scary, really, but a reviewer said : " To help you all with making the decision to read or not to read this book.... you must like supernatural, eccentric, bloody and gory reads. If that's not your cup of tea, then I don't think you'll enjoy this read."
Another reviewer said : "There's love, there are a ton of witty and funny remarks, there are tears, and there's death. Bloody, gory, violent death. I like supernatural, I like bloody and gory, I like when I do not get what it all is about until it's too late."
I couldn't have said it better myself. This novel is more Stephen King than Stephenie Meyer
