Anna Anastase was born in Stockholm in 1976. She has a degree in economics from Stockholm University. Her mother is from the far north of Sweden and her father is a Frenchman from Guadeloupe. Anna's mother was active in the Swedish feminist organization Group 8. Her father, with his French traditionalist view of the sexes, never understood why. A Perfect Relationship is her debut novel.
