We’re marching far beyond the cynical 20th century stories. In the Deep South, the contemporary narrative is dynamic. Authors are forgoing pastorals. Cultivating new voices requires broadening the definition of Southern writing. 

We’re making space for these voices and the invigorating stories they have to tell.
