Third State Books is a publishing start-up that brings Asian American voices, perspectives, and issues to audiences who cherish them. We believe Asian American culture transcends boundaries and enriches all of our communities and our lives. Through fiction and nonfiction, for adults and children, Third State Books strives to publish stories that more fully represent the total Asian American experience. “Third State” refers to the unique experience of being Asian American—being both Asian and American and occupying a separate space and identity all our own.
