Christmas stories are always a delight to me. Handsome, hot Hero? Check. Sweet yet sexy Heroine? Check. Very hot attraction? Double check! Add in some sort of conflict of interest, that ends with a viable (sometimes crazy) solution, and that is what makes it a good read for me. But, what made this a Great Read, to me, was the Dares that were interspersed throughout the story. I mean, come on, who doesn’t love a crazy/weird/could-cause-trouble type of Dare?!?

A humorous read about a girl determined to raise money for a new animal welfare centre and her brother's friend who finds himself surprisingly roped in to help her starting with a stripped tease.

Cute Christmas story. I liked Lauren and Gabe, they were cute and a little young. Their dares were cute for the younger crowds... I am not so young anymore! It was still cute and got me in the Christmas Spirit.

This book was really interesting. I look forward to reading more from this author!

This was a great Christmas story. Lauren is staying with her brother Cooper over the Christmas holidays. Coopers friend, Gabe, from college is also spending a few weeks with Cooper while he interviews for a job with the governor. While Cooper is out most nights Gabe and Lauren are making dares to each other. The two are very attracted to each other. This story has a lot of humor in it. It's a sweet little holiday romance that you are sure to enjoy.

This book did not keepp my interest. I found the title intriguing but could not get into the story line.

Great holiday read. Lauren is a kind hearted girl trying to better her community and Gabe is her brothers best friend who happens to be insanely attractive. Through a series of events they end up thrown together, from there they find a mutual attraction that leads to Dares. She dares him, he dares her all while they get closer and more involved in each other.

Honestly I just could not get into this book which is sad because I LOVE Christmas romances.

What a fun little romp to keep your reading light over the holidays! Fun story, lovable characters....just all allover enjoyable read!

I was hoping to read a cozy holiday romance when I requested for this book. What I got was a "very cozy" romantic read. Erotic romances are not the genre I prefer, so this book was not what I had expected. It really is my bad, I mean I should've got that from the blurb, but I was blinded by the word "dare" and the idea of the protagonist fighting to build a no-kill animal shelter (sigh! teary eyed).

Having said this, I did manage to read the book through and discovered that if I overlook the eroticism, it wasn't a bad read. Quite formulaic so no surprises anywhere but sparks of mischief in some of the dares do help keep the pace going.

So, to answer the cliche, would I recommend the book? Yes, to someone who enjoys reading contemporary romances.
