This was an entertaining read. The cast of characters (that were all dealing with their own issues) added something to the plot. It was heartwarming and romantic and a feel good book. I look forward to reading her next book.

I could honestly see this story as a miniseries for a lesbian drama. A lord characters, plots, sub plots, which can get confusing if you lose track of a character or two. Valiant effort to the author on putting together this story though, very rarely do you see a storyline that focuses on multigenerational LGBT folks and allies living together. Dense and robust. Deep winter read.

Enjoyable, funny, joyous, and some parts sad kind of book. I am only give 3 stars as I got lost with all the characters and I just could not remember who was who at some points... Lee and her back story was by far the saddest thing .....for her parents to shame her and drop her off in the middle of town at 14 I cried!! Lavender Meadows was a house were woman go to heal....Family is not always blood that is for sure!!

My thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

‘Lavender Dreams’ is a really immersive, feel-good story that dealt with some issues that lesbians of all ages have to face. It is multi-generational and I found that to be the main strength of the book. Diana Sue Wellspring has managed to weave the lives of very different women who pull together when it really counts. Sarah is a nurse in need of a break from the stress of her life so moves to the tranquillity of an island off Seattle to look after an elderly lady. Grace and her companion Marie live in a huge house that used to be a B&B but they are too old now to keep the business going. As Sarah gets to know them and their friends she finds a different type of life, a better life. Meeting an amazing woman doesn’t hurt either! This book is sweet, loving and has a family feel to it. I adored it.

I was given this ARC by Netgalley and Sapphire Books Publishing in return for an honest review.

OK book. Loved the plot but it had too many characters, I sometimes had no idea the characters back stories or I would confuse them.
