It seems as if every kid goes through a comedian phase, where they love to ask riddles and tell jokes. And it seems as if the worse the joke is, the funnier it is. We’ve given it a whole name: Dad jokes. Dad jokes, knock knock jokes, riddles, wordplay, and puns. It’s all fun and all funny. These books will give your little comedian a whole new repertoire. And they manage to avoid the potty humor genre!

I thought I had heard every kid's joke ever written. This book had jokes I had never heard and jokes that made me laugh out loud. Joke books are good ways to get kids reading and because they come in short bits, they aren't intimidating.

Srsly Best Jokes Ever: Jokes for Kids by Chantelle Grace is a pretty good joke book, though some weren't really funny, and some jokes repeated itself just with different words or just got totally rehashed again in a different part.

Lots of groan-out-loud jokes to be had here'! Some old favourites, and some funnies I hadn't heard before. All completely suitable for my seven year old, who especially likes knock-knock jokes.

Funny jokes for kids, some real groaners in here! Which I like!

This book was ok, as an adult I didn't find many of them funny but I'm not the target audience, better than the other book in the series - 4 stars from us for this one

This book was perfect for my 7 year old daughter to read herself. She was also able to understand 94% of the jokes! I, personally, liked how the jokes were separated by what they were. Most of these joke books have them all mixed together but my daughter likes knock knock jokes the best so being able to go to that whole section was perfect!

Chantelle Grace has again written a fabulous Joke book. Again she has delivered some side splitting jokes that for some might be corny but for me they are a whole lot of fun. Jokes about school (which are always funny), sports, Knock Knocks (some classics in there) and some farm funnies.

Again the book is spaced out so that it is easy to read and will encourage even the reluctant reader to have a go just so they can be funny.

The funny pictures are again amusing and full of joy, and the different topics covered makes it a good accompaniment to Best Jokes Ever.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review!

I adore jokes, lest they are done well of course. So when I spotted this little book up on Netgalley I just knew I had to try it out, see what kind of jokes they had, if they had any new ones, and also if I would get them all (since English isn't my native language plus I don't live in the US).

In the end I am pretty satisfied with what I saw, but there were a few things that I didn't like. For instance the knocking jokes and the riddles were just meh, I didn't laugh once, and at times I had to re-read jokes and say them out loud to get what they were hinting at. Then some of the jokes got rehashed, either completely (T-rex + bills), or words have changed (the dictionary ones or the leopard ones). This is just such a shame. I don't see why you would need to rehash things, I am sure you can think of countless of fun jokes.

But I did find some gems, and I also had great fun reading them to my boyfriend. Who just looked at me funny, then got the punchline, groaned/laughed and shook his head. :P This is another reason why I had to get this book, my boyfriend has the funniest reactions.
I also did like that the book was split up in various sections. From space to clothes to nature.

The titles of the chapters/sections also definitely fit the book.

But yeah, some jokes weren't funny, in the end it just felt like I never would finish, and then there is the rehashing of jokes. So I am giving this book 2.5 stars.
