Thank you to Ebury publishing for my copy of this book via Netgalley. I really enjoyed this final part and thought the ending was perfect.

Sam has really grown since the first book and her arrival in Hope Green. She has developed in her career and she has really settled into village life. One of the things I love about this book is the role that the animals play. This story shows what a big part they play in our lives.

This was my favourite book of the series. I won’t give away any of the story but Sheila does an excellent job of wrapping up all the threads, giving us that much sought after happy ending.

This is a light-hearted read that can easily be read in one afternoon, leaving you with a big smile an a warm feeling inside. I am looking forward to reading Sheila’s next series Pets At Primrose Cottage.

I read this serialised book all in one go in the end and I really enjoyed this light hearted read. Is great for fans of Cathy Woodman and Cathy Bramley. I am looking forward to further instalments set in Hope Green in the future in order to see the developments of some of the characters in this series.

This was the last part of a four part series and I have to admit that it was hard to get my brain back to Sam's world after break of several months. In all honesty, I wish this book had been available as one volume from the beginning.

Anyway, this was a light, easy read of a book, like all the others have been. It was lovely reading about the birth of Sam's child and she resolves a few things that had been troubling her in previous books so there is a sense of her coming to the end of a chapter in her life and starting a new one.

This was a 3.5 star read from me, rounded up to 4 stars. I am glad this book has come out as a full-length novel :)

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book and all opinions are my own. Thank you to NetGalley and Ebury Digital.

Not really my kind of read, despite my interest in veterinary medicine.

I loved this part of the story. I loved how everything wrapped up for Sam.

"A new start" is the fourth and last part of the series "The vets at hope green" by Sheila Norton. I really enjoyed reading the whole series. I really liked the fact that it's cut into 4 different books, each of them being around 100 pages which is nice. It's always nice to have shorter reads between two bigger books. I really enjoyed the whole series, however I found the 4th and last part a little less exciting than the 3rd first parts. I found myself a little bit bored a few times during this read but all in all, it was still a nice read and I am really happy to have read it! I recommend to read the whole series, it's really good and well written!

In the fourth and final book of this series, Sam has to deal with pregnancy as well as growing tensions between her and her boss Joe Bradley. One evening, she attends a call with Joe, and her life changes forever.

I thought this finale was good, although rather predictable. I could predict the ending from the very start, as it has been heavily hinted at throughout all four books. I am glad that everything turned out well for Sam, in all aspects of her life, although I did feel sorry for David.

All told, this series was a nice relaxing read, and I am glad I got the chance to read it.

Thank you to the publisher, Sheila Norton and NetGalley for providing me with a complimentary ebook copy.

I rate this book 3/5 stars!

As a series this was a charming, easy read. I used to work in a vets myself so I think I was always going to enjoy it! Perfect book for reading in the garden over the summer.

4 stars

I so enjoyed this whole series and I must say this was a fitting ending to the story. With each part we were left with a huge cliff hanger that just left you wanting more and more. I felt that everything was nicely finished off and even though it was a predictable story, I feel that sometimes those are just what you're looking for!

Part 4 brings to an end the story of the Vets at Hope Green. I admit that overall I have enjoyed the story. Had I read it as a single book I would probably have given it four stars but I just don't like the way it has been marketed. I think this is a bit of a rip off for the reader who will end up paying three times as much as the book is worth. I enjoyed Sheila Norton's writing & the characters she created.

Thanks to Netgalley for giving me the chance to read all the parts.

The final part of the series and Sam is happy living with her grandmother and working at the local vets - although the vet Joe is very unpredictable and seems very up and down towards her. She is looking forward to the birth of her baby although slightly apprehensive about it - especially being a single mum

David is still on the scene but as a friend only.....but do other people in the village realise this or do they think they are an item.....village gossip!

A lovely ending to the series - I have really enjoyed all of the books and although predictable they are nice gentle easy reading - great for the beach when you don't want to have to think too hard!

*CONTAINS SPOILERS*

So, "A New Start" is the fourth and last part to the Vets at Hope Green series by Sheila Norton. Yes, I did enjoy those short novellas, they were light - hearted, incredibly easy to follow and they were written in a way that's just drawn me in and I wanted to know what's going to happen in Sam's life.

However, this last part disappointed me. Already the previous part was very short and this one was also so short, but while in the third part there was all the time something happening, here I had a feeling that everything is incredibly rushed. Don't get me wrong, all the things were very neatly wrapped up but for me there was no sparkle to the writing, it was as if the author wanted to seal things up and just be done. Actually, there probably couldn't happen anything new as all the opened threads needed to be closed, so in fact there were really no surprises. However, it was not the biggest problem for me. What spoiled this novel for me was something that I've already suspected is going to happen. Namely Sam and Joe. My opinion about Joe didn't change a lot, yes, there was a lot of things going on in his life but for me it was not justification for him behaving like a spoiled child, being so incredibly moody, changing moods like a girl changes clothes, quoting a famous song. Then the way he was with Sam, blank her and ignore her because he was thinking she was with David, being OFFENDED with her because of this fact, even though he was still married to Andrea! What the hell??? How old are you, Joe, and what's your way of thinking? But then happened this worst thing that I was expecting [- that Joe and Sam will stay together and I'm sorry but I couldn't help but feel that Joe's wife was not cold enough in her grave and they were already making plans for the future. Sorry. Out of place. (hide spoiler)]

I am incredibly, incredibly sad that this conclusion to the series didn't work for me. No, it didn't not work for me, I just didn't like it. I love Sheila Norton's writing style and the way she told this story, I liked the idea, I liked the place and the villagers (which there was almost no mention of in this last part, a pity!) but it just wasn't for me this time. However, I am glad that I had a chance to have "The Vets at Hope Green" being introduced to me. It was a sweet, easy and uplifting story altogether.

Lovely conclusion to a lovely read, off to leave Amazon feedback

This was a wonderful conclusion to the delightful series. Sam's pregnancy is progressing and she's coming to terms with the changes in her life. Her boss is still quite a difficult character- but he lets down his guard occasionally. When a sow needs help with a troublesome delivery Sam is the only one available to help despite being heavily pregnant.

Hope Green sounds such a wonderful place to live and we've grown to love the characters along the way. It's such a cosy read , wrapping you within it's pages. You feel as though you've popped in for a chat with the characters which is always a sign of a great book.

I look forward to reading Sheila's next book and catching up with some of her back catalogue. I was thrilled to read this series.

This is the final part in the vets at hope green and it doesn't disappoint. After we were left on another cliff hanger in part three this part sees everything tied together nicely with no loose ends. Sam is busy balancing work with looking after Nanna as well as getting bigger by the day and still trying to cope with Joes odd moods. I'm not going to go into the ending too much as I don't want to spoil it for anyone but it was very eventful to say the least. I like Sheila's writing style as it's quite laid back but quite a lot happens and feel like there should be another series based around someone else in hope green but maybe that's because I'll miss this little village series and the likeable characters that live in it. This has been a fab set of books and would recommend to anyone.
I would like to thank netgalley and penguin random house for this ARC I received in exchange for an honest review.

I have just finished reading this and what a drama! This is certainly an eventful finale! All the loose ends are tied up and all those things left unsaid are spoken out loud, and what a perfectly sweet and lovely end to the story. Anyone who has enjoyed the previous episodes will be left smiling, and anyone wondering if this series is worth reading should give it a go. It is gentle, but Sheila Norton’s books have a charm I can’t resist and plenty of four legged characters to keep animal lovers like me happy. I won’t give any spoilers – I hope you enjoy the ending as much as I did!

As I have grown attached to the characters at Hope Green I was pleased with the final part of the story. It seemed shorter than the other sections and as part three had left us with a cliffhanger I was surprised that Nana's problem was brushed away so quickly. In fact the whole section just seemed to run on swiftly to it's inevitable happy ending.

The Vets at Hope Green has been a warm and endearing read that drew me in and I hope that there will be a follow up book in the not too distant future.

This is the fourth and final part in The Vets at Hope Green series of ebooks and it has been such a delightful book series, I have thoroughly enjoyed being charmed by this wonderful, warm, cosy romance.

We continue with Sam’s journey settling into life in the idyllic coastal village of Hope Green in Dorset. Sam’s life since moving to the village has been quite an emotional one and with her pregnancy progressing her life is soon going to be turned upside. Emotions are running high at the vets both personally and professionally. Joe the vet and Sam’s boss, has been called to an emergency at a local pig farm, one of the pregnant sow’s is struggling with her birth. The only assistant available to help is Sam so they both rush to the farm to help. However, whilst at the farm another emotive event is unfolding. Can Joe save the day again?

This was such a wonderful finale to a gorgeous book series that has totally wrapped itself around my heart. Perfect reads for lazy days and with the sun now making its appearance this story would be ideal to read whilst enjoying the countryside on a picnic. Delightful and charming 5/5*
