It’s a short book—around sixty pages—so I didn’t expect much, but I still expected to learn something. I didn’t. All this book did was tell me the most obvious things, and it ends with a sales pitch for the author’s company. Simply doesn’t feel like a lot of thought went into this, other than dollar signs in the author’s eyes.

Short and sweet. A good quick reference, but I find Google to be more helpful when searching for job interview tips

Job Interviewing Tips For Winners: 12 Tips Keys Ways To Land The Job is a handy guide for college graduates, young adults and entry level candidates. It offers practical, pragmatic and useful advice for those who are unsure about the interview process and what is expected when meeting with prospective employers. It touches the basics from proper body language to doing your research on the company beforehand. It is decidedly not for the seasoned professional due to its lack of breadth and depth. I do recommend Jon Interviewing Tips for Winners to those uncomfortable during the interview process and for those starting out in their chosen fields.

Not bad for a quick and dirty guide to help with job searching. I may be slightly jaded by the more than 15 years I have spent working in HR and found the book to be a little simplistic. For a new job seeker or someone who hasn't done it in years, this might be a good place to start. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy provided by NetGalley.

Interesting self help book which does give a good basic overview.

This little book is a quick guide for anyone applying for a new role, preparing for an interview or just looking to change jobs.
.
It doesn’t say anything new and points out the obvious but it highlights strategies that a lot of applicants need to use to stay ahead
.
I personally feel it is more useful for new grads, interns or people entering the workforce for the first time
.
For anyone who feels like jelly during an interview, this is a good guide for you.

I wished to have this book before my first interview.

A very compress and helpful source for young professional or students that are looking for a new position.

This book was shorter than I expected. For the most part it contained tips that I already knew. It will be helpful to those reading about interviews for the first time.

I have worked in HR now for 17 years and have completed a fair few interviews so was keen to pick up a copy of this book to see what hints and tips the author offered. I have to say that I thought that the book was very book, I enjoyed the checklist that those who purchase the book can download for free to help them prepare and the questions for the interviewee to ask were a great touch. Its an ideal quick read to help anyone nervous about any upcoming interviews - 5 stars

Steven Fies has managed to squeeze in the most important job interview tips into this little book, which is a quick read, but provides exercises and questions that one can - or should - spend much more time on when preparing for a job interview.
Does Fies provide new and ground-breaking insides that has never been written in similar books before? Probably not, but he sticks to the basics of which some of the tips are pretty self-evident and common sense, and a few even a little altmodisch (e.g. sending a thank you note by regular mail after a job interview).
Summing up, Fies has written a no-nonsense book of great tips for preparing for a job interview.

It's not the best interview tips book I have read but it does offer some good tips if this is your first book. There is nothing new however that I have not read before.

While it had some good tips I didn't find the presentation really got me a better understanding

Very basic but also essential ideas.
Suitable for fresh graduates.

A quick and informative read which gave me a few tips for my next interview. A lot of it, I must admit, is common sense really and most people understand the business attire and eye contact rule. And if course, don't be late!
Overall, a very quick read, with which I took a couple of valuable tips for the successful interview process.

More of a magazine article than a book, but it has many good straight forward suggestions for job interviews. Recommended, but only if it's a dollar or two.
