Very basic but also essential ideas.
Suitable for fresh graduates.
A quick and informative read which gave me a few tips for my next interview. A lot of it, I must admit, is common sense really and most people understand the business attire and eye contact rule. And if course, don't be late!
Overall, a very quick read, with which I took a couple of valuable tips for the successful interview process.
I have worked in HR now for 17 years and have completed a fair few interviews so was keen to pick up a copy of this book to see what hints and tips the author offered. I have to say that I thought that the book was very book, I enjoyed the checklist that those who purchase the book can download for free to help them prepare and the questions for the interviewee to ask were a great touch. Its an ideal quick read to help anyone nervous about any upcoming interviews - 5 stars
Steven Fies has managed to squeeze in the most important job interview tips into this little book, which is a quick read, but provides exercises and questions that one can - or should - spend much more time on when preparing for a job interview.
Does Fies provide new and ground-breaking insides that has never been written in similar books before? Probably not, but he sticks to the basics of which some of the tips are pretty self-evident and common sense, and a few even a little altmodisch (e.g. sending a thank you note by regular mail after a job interview).
Summing up, Fies has written a no-nonsense book of great tips for preparing for a job interview.
