It can be difficult to find the right book for middle schoolers who are still young but are also advanced readers. This is a great way to check out the appropriateness of upcoming titles for this age group!

The Buzz Books collections are generally an expansion on the conventional review. The You Adult Fall/Winter continues along this theme. They're great coffee table missives, and would be a nice addition for guests to pick up and thumb through for a nice overview of up and coming books worth reading.

This book left me with a dilema, would I buy it as a book? Should I rate it as a book? It is ultimately a collection of material that one might expect to find in popular culture magazines, and in the lifestyle sections of the newspaper. So in that respect, no I wouldn't buy this for myself. However, when I frame the same question in a consideration of it's target audience - young adults - would I recommend this for them? Absolutely. As media and news delivery continues to evolve it is likely that these types of collections will become more practical and as such I think that the buzz books collections are front runners in an emerging trend.

A great mix of upcoming books! The excerpts are a great length - I love excerpts that are long enough to give you a feel of the book as well as getting you into the story. I'm especially looking forward to Girls Made of Snow and Glass. Thanks so much for the preview!

This is a great resource for librarians in charge of purchasing for young adult collections.

As usual, buzz books has included some many amazing book excerpts. I have added quite a few to my tbr.

Young Adult is my favorite category to read from, and so many of these featured books seem so interesting. I'm glad to have added some of these to my to be read list!

This is a great collection of excerpts of upcoming YA books for Fall/Winter 2017.

It contains an introduction followed by a list of BuzzBooks authors that appeared at BookExpo (Kwame Alexander, Gregory Katsoulis, Marie Lu, and Marieke Nijkamp). After that section there are excepts by publishers. I particularly enjoyed the excerpt for WARCROSS by Marie Lu.

Overall, a great list of buzzing YA titles for Fall/Winter 2017.
