I have mixed feelings on this book. It was an original premise. The start of the book sucked me in, and I loved the initial meeting between Jayden and Abigail. For much of the time, I enjoyed the main characters. At the beginning, and when they were getting along, their banter was entertaining. But when they were being wishy-washy or outright mean, I wanted them to just end it. I enjoyed the secondary characters of Alice and Jessica better.

Some of the events that took place were realistic and relatable, others seemed far-fetched and took me out of the story.

Overall, I liked the concept of the story, I liked how the story started and ended, but I have a mixed bag of feelings about the events that occurred in between.

There were too many iffy things about power dynamics (he's her boss) and consent for me to really enjoy this.

This was a beautiful story about something that was new to me and never knew even existed. Sexsomnia is all about a woman that tends to get herself off when she's sleeping and even have sex with others as well. It's a known sleeping disorder which actually blew my mind. I think this was funny, loving and amazing from start to finish.

Jayden King is just everything in this story. He is sweet, loving, kind, hardworking and downright dominate. I just love a hot dominant guy that has a heart and soul and he definitely did. He made me happy from beginning to end. Not once did I ever dislike him, even when he "lied" to Abigail. His reasoning behind his secrecy was warranted -- in a sense. Jayden was amazing.

Abigail Davis is a girl of many trades and talents, but her sleeping disorder seemed to have destroyed her trust of men after her "friend" took full advantage of her disorder. Abigail is a spitfire of a woman who speaks her mind. She is unfiltered and uninhibited. She also seems to stop herself from truly enjoying life because of her past. I loved her through and through though sometimes she did irritate me!

The romance between Jayden and Abigail, wasn't insta-love, but you could immediately tell that things between them would go from professional to personal real quick. I loved how they connected instantly and completed one another though they were a tad bit different. I enjoyed watching their relationship blossom and seeing how they both helped one another out with their past demons.

Totally recommend!

4.5 stars - First, I need to just say, "Wow!" I didn't even know sexsomnia was a real thing. The fact that Ms. Omah can craft a wonderful romance and shed light on a little known and even less understood disorder makes this a particularly special read. The story is written so well and the characters are so comparably suited to one another. I really enjoyed this read.

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

WOW!!!! The writing for this book was beyond what I was really thinking. I am looking forward more from this author

As a Librarian in a rural setting, this would not be on the purchase list. I feel the readership would be more urban, like its setting. The title would be off putting to those who want a good romance, but it eludes more erotic romance, though I wouldn't classify it as erotic romance.

Well written or not, the sexsomnia was too hard to get past. There are too many issues with sexsomnia in my opinion and I found it too difficult to read, especially when finding out that it is a real thing.

First, I want to address the title Sexsomnia. For those of you who may be scared off, don't be! This book does have sex, but no more than many romance novels. This is a story about two hurt and broken people who help each other without the other really being aware at least for most of the book. Jayden is a rich, gorgeous hunk of a guy who is bored to death, so he has become a workaholic to escape from his life and guilt. He does realize he needs an assistant and dreads the interview process. Abby has built a stone wall of protection around herself and lives a very insulated life. She's looking for a job since she is mooching off of her sister (her words) and student loans are due soon. She applies for the position of assistant to the CEO of the Four Kings Group, but It doesn't matter how badly she needs a job after meeting the arrogant and infuriating Jayden. This is where the fun begins. Even though this book deals with hard subjects at times, the chemistry of the H and h is awesome. I cannot tell you how many times I laughed out loud because Abby just isn't going to put up with Jay's crap. Once we get to know the characters better, a great deal of the funny moments trail off and the book becomes more serious. I thought the author dealt with them compassionately. You really need to read this book! I also found it interesting that this book had been translated from German, but it is a flawless translation. I received this book for free from NetGalley for an honest review.

This book was a great read and had an interesting twist on the standard plot.

The blurb to this book really grabbed my attention. I love a good office romance especially with a sassy heroine. I never really thought anything of the title and that it would have a huge role in the story.

I admit, I had a hard time with her issues with Sexsomnia and what happened to her because of it. It did play a pretty big role in the book and it will be a trigger issue for some readers.

When this wasn't the topic in the story, I really liked it. I enjoyed the banter between the main characters and while Abigail was sassy...she did have moments that it was bit over the top.

Overall, I really like the writing style of this author and I'm interested in reading more from her. ARC provided by NetGalley.

This was a pretty good story. I did find it a bit over the top at times. Abby and Jayden's secret keeping and forgiving got to be a bit too much towards the end. However, the translation of the storyline from German to English was flawless and I would have never known the book was written in a different language.

Note, I did receive a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Sexsomnia, who knew that was really a thing?! It actually is a thing, though, and poor Abigail suffers from it. And she's taking steps to get it figured out and cured, if possible. Then she meets Jayden at an interview she's late for, and isn't dressed properly for, and things do not go so well. She tells him off and leaves. But, instead of him reacting as I thought he would, he's intrigued, and turned on. And makes it his personal mission to make her his new PA.

You see, he's an overconfident, arrogant man used to getting what he wants. He surrounds himself by yes-men and women (except his sister, who tells him like it really is), so that this plain young woman dared to tell him off really challenges him, and takes him out of the boredom he's been experiencing lately. And when he finds out the secret Abigail is hiding, he makes it his duty to use that secret to get closer to her, all without her knowledge. And while he's doing that, he somehow falls head over heels for her. But, will Abigail forgive him when she finds out what he's done? Because you know she will find out, and when she does...hopefully she'll be able to see past his betrayal and see through to his heart, his heart that he's given to her.

I loved Sexsomnia. It's sexy, so much deeper than I had been expecting, and both Abigail and Jayden are superb, layered characters who have chemistry in spades! Sexsomnia is well written, well paced and all around fantastic. Can't wait for more from Anya Omah!

This was just an okay read for me. The heroine being raped and the H contemplating having sex with another woman at the end, destroyed it for me.

Sexsomnia - Sleepless in Manhattan is the story of Jayden King and Abigail Davis.
Abigail is set to interview for a job but it starts off bad from the start. She is running late and she has forgotten the cloths that she just bought to change into at the job interview site. The taxi cab can't go any faster and doesn't know any short cuts. But after getting a confident booster from her sister Abigail goes head on into the building where she immediately runs into Jayden. Jayden immediately asked her whys she is hear and when she tells him he says "I ask because you look like you're about to go plow a field". He then goes to tell her to go see HR and to schedule another appointment because he doesn't like wasting his time. Well Abigail goes into him with the same smart attitude he gave her, and then she pretty much told him where to put his second interview at.
Jayden doesn't know what to think since he is used to people falling at his feet and women throwing themselves at him.
This book just got better and better...I couldn't put it down and now I am on the hunt for more books by this author! I am ashamed to say this was my first book by her and I am not sure how I have been missing her books!

Who even knew there was even a condition called Sexsomnia! Anya has published a well written book about love and coming to grips with an illness and learning to handle it.

I was so pleased with this book, more so because I had read several others in this genre that had nothing to offer other than a few decent sex scenes. This has it all a great story, believably flawed characters, real conflict and resolution, and a good plot line. Thank you for writing readable erotic fiction!

**I received a copy of Sexsomnia from Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**

Sexsomnia by Anya Omah is the first book that I've read by this author and I have to say that it was interesting as this is a real condition. I'd give it a solid 4 stars I really loved the heroine but the hero, I wish he had been more honest. But in the end he redeemed himself when it came time to serve a big healing amount of justice and whoop a*_* and fix what the court system would not for Abby.

Abigail Davis seems to always run late whenever she goes somewhere but when things go bad before her interview and she arrives in non professional clothes a bit late. But when she meets the owner of the company and they verbally spar little does she know that Jayden King is very interested in her and not just as his personal assistant. When she tells him of her secret and that she's going to take part in a study, Jayden does everything to be the person next to her in the testing labs. Abby proves to be the best assistant he's ever know and the woman that Jay can't live without.

Jayden King is a very successful businessman and just one meeting with Abigail will change his mind forever giving him a fantastic personal assistant and future soul mate. But when he finds out that she has sexsomnia he decides to do what it takes to help her even but she can never find out that he's her sleep study partner. There will be some ups and downs but in the end Jayden and Abigail must decide if what they feel for each other is a everlasting love.
