This is book 1 of a duet. I didn't realize that this was going to be somewhat of a love triangle, although I knew from the beginning that poor Cooper didn't stand a chance.

Emma and Gavin have seen each other at a coffee shop for a while and when he leaves a card behind, she decides she has to know who he is. She doesn't expect to get involved with his brother or with the little game they play with her.

I drew a lot of parallels to 50 shades with this one. I don't know if that was on purpose or by chance. Obviously not the triangle part, but Emma reminded me a lot of the bookish Anastasia and Gavin was damaged like Christian.

This story was interesting in how it played out, but I kept holding my breath for Cooper knowing it wouldn't end well for him. You could tell that Emma was falling for Gavin early on and Cooper was her friend.

This story continues into a book 2 as things heat up between Gavin and Emma.

I listened to this one and of course Zachary Webber is amazing so I loved the narration.

She’s much too innocent for me, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting the sweet, young librarian. I’m dominating and possessive, and my control streak runs a mile wide.

The way she looks at me—like I’m one of the heroes in the books she loves, like I’m broken, and she wants to be the one to piece me back together—it only complicates things further. I’m nobody’s hero.

But there’s no denying my tragic past reads like one of her favorite literary classics. It’s raw. Visceral. Captivating. And together, we’re a perfect mess.

How can I resist when the sexual sparks zapping between us set me on fire? The need to control, and claim her force my walls to come tumbling down, but when she learns about my dirty little secret, will my world come crashing down with it?

DIRTY LITTLE SECRET begins an erotic adventure about three alpha billionaire brothers who own an escort agency called Forbidden Desires.

Hot, sexy arrogant jerk? I mean sign me up! Kendall Ryan is one of my favorite authors! I definitely recommend Dirty Little Secret and all of her books!

Dirty Little Secret was a fantastic read.

This was a quick read. I'm a fan of Kendall Ryan's story telling and her characters always catch me.

Emma a librarian has a crush on a man who comes into the coffee shop every morning. She may have a feisty personality but her courage to talk to him is hard for her. She ends up getting his business card and finds out he owns a high end escort company with his brother. This gets her interested even more and she ends up applying, which even though they don't feel she's right for their clients, she fits with them well and becomes their escort. This brings her even closer to Gavin.

Gavin has a lot of secret and tries to keep Emma at a distance, even though he too is attracted to her. There is a lot of back and forth between them and also Gavin's brother Copper whom she also feels a connection too. In the end Emma discovers what secret Gavin has which leads to the next in the series. There are four books total.

Overall I enjoyed Ryan's writing, she knows how to hook her readers. But for me Emma and Gavin just didn't intrigue me as much as I was hoping for. I'm not sure if I will be continuing this one.

THE DELIGHT
Love triangles and cliffhangers….sigh…not my favorite things, but this will rivet you from page one.

REVIEW
Emma gets her coffee from the same coffee shop each day before going into the library where she works. She hopes for a glimpse of a man she fantasizes about, but knows is out of her league. His name, no she doesn’t know, but that doesn’t minimize her attraction to him. When he leaves his business card where she can find it, knowing he wants her to find it, Emma finds out more of the secret of. Gavin Kingsley. CEO of an exclusive escort agency. She knows she should just throw away the card and forget him, but she can’t and takes a chance.

Appearing at the agency in a sexy as Hell outfit to meet Gavin only to be interviewed to be an exclusive escort for Gavin and his brother Cooper. Well out of her element, Emma is turned on by the taboo of being an escort, but also enticed by the money that will help renovate the home she inherited from her grandmother. She should say no, but she only says yes.

Gavin and Cooper are total opposites. Gavin is a brooding man, letting his past lead him down his unhappy life, but he is also a dominant and passionate man. Emma is drawn to mysterious nature, but at the same time confused by his on and off attitude. Cooper on the other hand is sweet, funny and caring. While Emma knows she should fall for Cooper, Gavin is the one that she is continually drawn too when it makes no sense at all. Both men fall for her and jealousy collides.

Each man has their virtues and secrets. Being brothers complicates things even further as they one competes for the love of Emma, while the other seems to not want her love. This all culminates with tragic pasts being brought to light and a cliffhanger. Yep, a cliffhanger that has taken me a bit to recover from.

This wasn’t so much a overtly complicated story. Emma’s heart has decided itself, the wildcard is the men. Her world is turn upside down from a quiet librarian to a quiet librarian who is an escort on the side with a love triangle. That’s the simple version. Want the complicated version? Read the book!

This book had a great premise and started out interesting. However, as soon as the main characters interact, I lost interest. I really didn’t like any of the initial “official” meeting with Emma and Gavin. The interactions with his brother didn’t help it any. Unfortunately I was unable to finish the book because of this.

Whew, this was a hot one. I greatly enjoyed reading this story and while I have fallen behind on the releases, I definitely need to pick up the rest of this series. Is it only me that thinks of that All-American Rejects song when they see this title?

Emma Bell is a librarian, who dreams of the sexy man that she sees every morning at the coffee shop. She thinks he’s way out of her league so she resigns herself to just gazing at him from afar. Then, one morning, they speak and the hot sexy man leaves his business card where he knows she'll see it. Taking the card and looking up his company she decides to live boldly for a little bit.

Finding out that the man she's been pining after-Gavin Kingsley-is a CEO for an exclusive escort agency is a bit of a shock. Getting pulled into an interview Gavin proposes an idea: date Gavin and his brother Cooper, exclusively. Emma, needing the money to fix up her home, agrees.

It doesn't take long for Emma to develop feelings for both brothers. Gavin, who makes her feel things she has never felt, even as his aloof demeanor keeps her at a distance, and Cooper. Cooper is pretty much the polar opposite Gavin. He's sweet and fun-loving and the guy that she "should" want. Both brothers begin to quickly fall for Emma and jealousy begins to grow.

Dirty Little Secrets is a fun read. At times it was a bit predictable, that didn't take away from the story.

Also, while this book comes across as a tad love-triangleish, it's really not. I felt like I knew where Emma's heart was.

The book does end on a major cliffhanger that will leave you sitting in a puddle going "thank goodness the rest of the books are out" whereas when I first read this my only thought was "why are the rest of the books not out?" You'll definitely want to go grab them ASAP.

This is the first in a series about the Kingsley Brothers who are famous well for the Forbidden Desires. They are the ones you go to for some fun and secret liaisons. Starting with Gavin was fun to read and having Cooper there with Emma is definitely pushing his buttons. I loved that Kendall Ryan pushed these two in a way that was hard for them to deny. Cannot wait for the next one in the series to see who will Emma choose?

Loved this! The chemistry between Emma and Gavin are off the charts, and the secondary characters are equally lovable. I can’t wait to see how the story concludes!

This is the first book in this series. This book has a cliffhanger ending to it so be warned. The main characters are amazing with very hot chemistry between them. This book is about opposites attracting, on one hand you have a mysterious, dirty male then the other a sweet and sexy female. I cant wait to read more in this series and by this author in the future.

Highly recommended

This book is just like an insanely popular series of books that became movies. You know the ones. I'm not a fan of love triangles or books with no endings. I wish I'd know that when I signed up for this book. Sad to say I won't be reading the rest of this series.

Hot damn. I am aching and desperate for more from this new series from Kendall Ryan. I can't even express how many times I kept swiping looking for more when I got to the last page in this book. I kinda want to whine and stomp my feet because I’m not sure I can handle waiting for more!!

Here's the deal. Emma and Gavin played flirty eyes with one another every morning at their local coffee shop for a year. One day Gavin decides to throw the gauntlet down and engages her without actually saying a word. It's spectacularly bold and it does exactly what he wants. It entices her into his world.

The result of that one move is wickedly engaging and sexy. You'll never guess where it leads Emma and all of the drama it brings into her life. It is awesome. She and Gavin have fun personalities which mesh really well - plus they share an intense and intoxicating chemistry. They are one couple that you’ll want on your bookshelf.

Holy hotness. Seriously don’t miss this incredible start to the Forbidden Desires series. Dirty Little Secret is spectacular and can’t miss reading!

I’ve been in a book slump for months and then I happened upon Dirty Little Secret. The characters intrigued me and I had so much fun trying to picture them in my mind. I am a librarian so it was fun to envision Emma’s day to day, how she dressed and all of those fun things. I loved her immediately. I found the other characters to be so interesting, especially how different the brothers are. This book was so much fun to read and it truly brought me out of my slump. I have found a new favorite author in Kendall Ryan.

5 Mysterious Stars*

Copy kindly received via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Holllyyyyy shiiittt. That ending. Wow.

Let me step it back a notch. I sped through this one, but that was mostly due to the fact that I already had read Dirty Little Tease and the first 14 chapters of this are those chapters from that book. They both have different prologues, but I was able to skip ahead to start chapter 15 from where Dirty Little Tease had finished.

This story is so intriguing. An escort agency. 3 brothers, two of them interested in the same woman. And the woman herself, drawn to the mysterious and intriguing brother. There's so much more I want to know about their pasts, particularly Gavins, and with that ending.....holy moly, I need to know the full story there. I was not expecting that.

I don't know how I feel about Gavin, but I really like Cooper. Quinn seems like an interesting character too. Emma I'm not too sure about either. For me this is more about the guys.

Some parts of the storyline remind me a bit too much of good old Fifty, but that said, the stories are completely different. If you've read Fifty, you'll know the bits I mean.

This is a 3 way love triangle that feels like its going to end dangerously and I cannot wait to see what happens. There is still so much to find out, and man am I glad the next book has already been released, or I would've been dying with that ending.

Book 2, I'm coming for ya!
