I am slowly devouring this beautiful book of essays and am thrilled to have found another author who touches me so deeply in my soul with her words and thoughts and impressions of the world within and outside of her. She reminds me a little of Annie Dillard, and also Anne Lamott, in the way that she sees the world, and in the way that she uses language to convey what she sees. It is hard for me to digest all at once, so I am making my way slowly through the book, savoring each chapter until it settles within my soul. Highly recommend!
