So cute and fun! This book made doodling easy. I don't have any drawing skills, but I keep doing these ones over and over.

Really like this! Very clear pictures and I loved using this. Still use some of the things from this book today! Must read for anyone who loves to doodle and wants to try something else.

I thought that I was a big fan of Kawaii style drawing and while I still like looking at it sometimes, it’s just really not my taste. However, if you like the style and want to learn to draw the cutesy Kawaii style French fries, hot dog and tons of other items, then you should get this book.

Kawaii Doodle Class is an accessible introductory book to making doodles of inanimate objects look cute. Wish the text about the elements of what makes doodles cute was more lengthy. This book would be well-suited for those who wish to jump into the doodling by following the step-by-step drawings.

This is a fun little book with lots of suggestions for fun things to draw. It wood make a great gift for fans of kawaii art, and a good addition to a school library. I tried out a few of tutorials and my children had a go too, and found it not too challenging.

I got this book because I've never had a lot of confidence in my drawing skills. This looked so cute and easy enough for me to start doodling. My 6 year old ended up taking it from me and spent an entire day with it. I don't think anything has ever held her attention for that long. She loved it. The step by step instructions are clear. Once you have those down, you can easily make little changes (and she has some suggestions how) to make it your own. It's an adorable book. I ended up buying a physical copy. I recommend it for kids and adults.

My daughter loves all things Kawaii and has a passion for art and drawing. She enjoyed learning different types of doodles and challenging herself to draw them. Overall a pleasant experience for her enjoyment.

I really enjoyed this book because it was easy for me to draw the characters as they all had step-by-step instructions for me to follow. This is great because I don’t have any drawing talent whatsoever plus because it has step-by-step instructions it allows you to practice all the basic shapes for the eyes, body etc which you can then apply and use to create your own character.

So, far that is all I have to say for this book. It was a chill, easy to follow doodling book that is great for anybody regardless of artistic background to try.

Race Point Publishing and NetGalley provided me with an electronic copy of Kawaii Doodle Class: Sketching Super-Cute Tacos, Sushi, Clouds, Flowers, Monsters, Cosmetics, and More. I was under no obligation to review this book and my opinion is freely given.

I was not familiar with the term kawaii, but the style of putting cute faces on ordinary objects appealed to me. Kawaii Doodle Class has instructions for more than seventy-five doodles, with great tips and hints on how to get started. With information about proper tools and accessories, beginners can feel comfortable with getting started on their own.

The book is broken up into five categories: Adorable Food and Drinks, Lovable Nature, Cheerful Doodle Monsters, Everyday Cute and Charming Holiday Decorations. My favorites are the food and the nature sections, as I found the doodles contained within to be mainly easy to draw and great for a beginner. Kawaii Doodle Class is great for sparking imagination and creativity in people of all ages. I would highly recommend this book for all ages and skill levels.

Can you ever have too many doodle ideas going around in your mind? Do you ever want to sit and look at books for inspiration? Well, this book is full of fun ideas to get you started and you can tweak them however you want. To think of different food ideas as happy people is super fun and items of nature, such as flowers, trees, the sun, etc., along with everyday items too. This was cutely done.

This book is very good for beginners. It tells you what exactly makes the pictures cute, what proportions to use and how they change the final product and gives tips on the colours to use to achieve the hightest "cuteness".
Somewhat cynical in what it's trying to achieve, but it does the job well.

This book is super adorable and shares how to sketch super cute objects in categories like food and drinks, nature, monsters, everyday cute and holiday decorations. There are step by step instructions included on how to make over 75 characters. You can start with a pencil to sketch them and then ink them. Rounded corners add to the cuteness (a great tip!) and faces are only recommended but not needed. I added faces on the drawings I tried out because I thought that it made them look cuter! Most of the instructions are only a handful of steps but there are some that are more like 2 pages and the instructions get more and more difficult as you go through the book so you might want to start with the earlier, smaller designs and work your way up to the more complicated ones! At the end there are pages at the end to doodle on. I had a lot of fun looking through the cute characters and ended up drawing a popsicle, lightning cloud and christmas tree on my notes for this book! Super adorable! I wouldn't consider myself an artist at all and I think they came out really well!

I received a free e-copy of this book in order to write this review, I was not otherwise compensated.

This is a cute collection of adorable doodles with the tips to give your sketches that extra bit of super cute kawaii. I love the step-by-step instructions and found it useful to help me draw common objects, even if I don't make them kawaii doodles. When you need a break from practicing your cupcake swirl, the search-and-find images beg to be used as colouring practice. I think this is a fun book and can provide insight for those looking to improve their doodles, and a smile for anyone needing a bit more kawaii.

A cute book on drawing, with lots of nice tutorials on how to make kawaii drawings. Nicely drawn and fun to do.

What a beautifully fun book to learn how to draw kawaii characters. Kawaii is Japanese for “cuteness” and as someone who enjoys watching anime, I am very familiar with cute faced kittens or talking foods that appear out of nowhere.

Popular kawaii artist Zainab Khan, shows us in detail how to draw smiley faced ice cream cones, delectable cute cupcakes, and even happy hamburger pictures. The instructions are super easy to follow, you’ll wonder why you haven’t been drawing kawaii sooner.

To gain full appreciation of the book, I practiced some drawings following the book and love what I had come up with. I am no artist(actually, I am bad with drawing) but I had fun with this book.
