This is exactly what I needed! Aliases mixed with memory loss are EXACTLY perfect for a totally unreliable and unpredictable mystery/thriller! I love the twists and turns!

It was totally fun to read this book -- there is some true horror in here-- but some of the turns of phrase are delightful. It's begins with a scene of such horror, terror and blood, I wasn't sure where it would go. She lives, not without major PTSD and physical scars, and returns to the ongoing cases. She has some partners that seem questionable in one way or the other, but forages forward despite fear, pain, and stress.
She does end of saving the day, and in fact discovers others have deep secrets that drive all sorts of behaviors, some that make sense and others that don't,
What was remarkable to me to the compassion for the pain, the confusion, the suffering that recovery requires. After all the trauma and immediate recovery, the long road back is tough, silent and often lonely. The piteous condescension of those that think they understand, but really have no idea what goes on is clear.
Reading this book was tough for the cruelty and bloodletting, but wonderful in illustrating pushing through.

Dead girls by Graeme Cameron is one of those books that makes you glad you learned how to read. This book starts off at a fast pace and keeps going that way clear through to the end and oh, what an ending it is. If your looking for murders and lots of twists this is a book for you.

Really good interesting book! I liked the twisty mystery and the way it unfolded at the end but at times it was a little hard to keep up with due to the main character Alishia having memory issues and not really being sure about what was taking place when! But overall I enjoyed!

I did like this book but is was very confusing as to characters and past events. The English terms also confused me, there were times I had no idea what the characters were saying. The alias's also kept me confused. I did like Ali as a character

This was an interesting read. The mystery itself was pretty good, and I liked the main character and her voice. I don't usually enjoy the typical cop who has been hurt, and now it's personal story line but the mystery was strong and Alisha was actually intelligent and likeable. A lot of names appear quickly, and some of the events are confusing to follow with flashbacks and an uncertain narrator, which sometimes left me as confused as Alisha. Overall, it was an enjoyable read.

Suspenseful book about a female detective and her crew searching for a possible serial killer. I like the character of Ali but I found the book a bit confusing because the suspect had a number of different alias and I kept wondering if they were talking about the same person or different suspects.

It’s been two months since detective Alisha Green was attacked by a serial killer and left foe dead. But she didn’t die, she’s slowly been regaining her strength, fighting against a head injury that has left her memory in tatters and fighting to do the things she once took for granted. Her attacker believes he’s bested her, that she will never truly recover, but Alisha is determined to take down the twisted monster who hurt her and so many other women. Problems arise when new evidence that seems to disprove her surfaces. Fighting her department and her own memory, Alisha begins to doubt herself and her ability to stop the killer. Cameron doesn’t pull any punches, and Alisha is a flawed, kick ass heroine
