Anyone fascinated by the nuances in our English language would enjoy this book. It is a funny, enlightening and and sometimes serious book that takes us for example through the evolution of our use of "Dr." to now "physician", "lawyer" to "attorney" and much more. It also examines some difficult subjects including a wonderful essay on guns. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
