5-Minute Prayer Plan: A Guide to More Focused Prayer was okay. There were some really good questions and prayers, but overall I wasn't impressed. I didn't like some of the translations used (primarily The Message) and I wish there would have been more of a devotional. This just wasn't a read for me.
*I received a complimentary eBook copy of this book for my honest review. As always, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.*

The 5-Minute Prayer Plan Is a great prayer book. When I say great I mean fantastically great. There is a subject of the prayer like "bless'd 2 give." and then there is Scripture regarding that subject, Psalms 1:13. Then after that something totally different. There are a bunch of questions to get you to think about that subject like "do you consider yourself to be generous?" awsome. Then it closes in a prayer.

A great book that "teaches" you how to pray.
And by teach i mean that it shows the reader a way to explore praying, gives examples, shows how it could be done and what questions or thought could be explored from different passages.
I think its a great book if you need a little guidance, if you are unsure on how and what to take away from scriptures, how to pray in a different way than to be generally thankful or questioning of things.

The 5 Minute Prayer Plan is such an inspirational book and is the perfect start to my day! I love this book because there are so many prayer subjects and the prayers are filled with so many meaningful words! Some days I know what I want to pray about but struggle to find the words but this book truly helps. I also love the questions before each prayer that also help me focus on areas to pray for, and the scriptures listed so I can read along in my Bible. I will continue to use these prayers daily and this book will also make the perfect gift for close friends and family!

I really needed this book in my life. It made me realize that I do, in fact, have the time, and ability to find prayer time. It really helped me find a way to pray more fervently. I love that I was given a scripture to meditate on, to get started. So I had a stepping stone.
