I really enjoyed this. It’s the first book I’ve read by this author.
Thank you, K.A. McKeagney, Red Door & Netgalley for my copy. All opinions are my own.

A break from the norm for me which was as much an education as an escape.
Great thriller though with solid plot and an easy, weekend read.

Unfortunately this book was not for me, it was a bit slower than I would like and it just didn't hold my attention. I am sure other people will love it!

Tubing felt like a rush. But a good one. MeKeagney writes his characters like he knows them personally. It is a run for the last page with a slow burn at the backdrop

This was an unknown author to me, and I had no expectations. It was good - a mix of erotic thriller and crime. Certainly very different.

I read this book in a day, although more to get it finished than because I was truly unable to put it down. The premise is good, but for me the descriptive sex scenes were too plentiful. I didn't find the protagonist particularly likeable, and thought more needed to be explored around her relationship with her mother. Many loose ends not tied up after the dramatic closing (what did Oliver think about the events? What happened to her mum? Did DI Gin track her down as she was suspicious?)

This book was just an okay read. Although there were a few twists in it the story overall was quite predictable and did not keep me interested.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to review this book and to be an early reader via NetGalley! However, I will not be writing a review for this title at this time, as my reading preferences have since changed somewhat. In the event that I decide to review the book in the future, I will make sure to purchase a copy for myself or borrow it from a library. Once again, thank you so much for providing me with early access to this title. I truly appreciate it. Please feel free to contact me with any follow-up questions or concerns.

This was a pretty good psychological thriller, however, the book didn't really hold my attention too well. I tried to give this book a chance so many times but I just couldn't stay interested enough to keep reading the book. Unfortunately, this book was a no go for me.

This book is promoted as a thriller, but it had more of a erotic nature, and that's not really my genre of choice. It was still a good read though.

My oh my, this is a thriller and a half. I wasn't sure at first: I wasn't expecting the erotic element...erotica isn't one of my top genres. (Should have read the blurb properly!) But it was secondary to the dark, twisted, psychological thriller this turned out to be: gripping to the very last word, with some surprises I never expected.

Sex on a crowded tube train with a stranger. Tubing. No names exchanged, travellers too engrossed with their newspapers/books/phones to notice what the couple in the corner is up to. Seems like adrenalin-fuelled, slightly dangerous fun to Polly: she's in a dead-end job, in a staid relationship with very, very, very nice Oliver, a successful surgeon. If she's enjoying it, if she's not getting found out, then it's okay, isn't it?

But then it all goes horribly, horribly wrong. What on earth has she got herself into and why, why has she risked losing everything that was good, settled, secure?

Brilliantly executed, brilliantly written, I can't wait to see what McKeagney comes up with next.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and the author, for an ARC of this book, in exchange for an honest review.
Unfortunately, I have tried reading this book on 2 separate occasions and during this 2nd attempt, I have only managed to make it halfway through so I'd rather stop here and state that this book just wasn't for me.

Ugh, Polly was the worst.
There really wasn’t anything (besides being set in London) that I liked abuot this book. I wanted to like it and read a good thriller, but this was not it.

Not my usual kind of book since this seemed to be partially an erotica novel but this was intriguing. Thank you for the advance copy.

Full review to come.
I deeply apologize, but life is a handful lately and I'm using all my free time to read, not review. I hope everybody understands.

Molly's life feels mundane until a chance encounter after drinks one night on the London tube, someone catches her eye. The attraction is instant, they kiss but suddenly he's gone. What starts off as an exciting encounter soon turns sinister as she is lured into the murky world of "tubing".

Great story loved how the author out this book together. I like how the book kept you on the edge of your seat wanting more. This book was truly a page turner from start to finish

A compelling psychological thriller, explicit and engaging. The synopsis sucked me in, and the novel definitely lived up to it! If you shy away from eroticism in your books, stand clear of the closing doors of this book! I, along with everyone else, just want to know: Is tubing real??

I chose to read this book because the synopsis really piqued my curiosity.

Tubing, as described in the book is where people arrange hook-ups with strangers over social media. The hook-ups take place on the tube (The London Underground train networks) between stations and are brief sexual encounters.

Polly, our main protagonist has such a sexual encounter when she is on her way home, after a few too many alcoholic drinks. She searches the web and finds out about the act of Tubing. Set up a sexual encounter via Twitter, hop on the tube and get off with a smile on your face provided by a stranger.

Polly sets out to find the stranger from her drunken fumble and tries to arrange another meet. Of course, this is not a romance, so we know that things take a dangerous turn for Polly.

My thoughts on this book are a mixed bag. Firstly, as someone who has been on the London underground quiet a few times over the years, I can tell you that while a level of cleanliness is maintained on the trains, the same can not be said for all who ride them. If you were to do this then I could see a strong antibiotic and some embarrassing explanations in your future.

Polly is a great but unlikable character. She is not single and she is getting up to hi-jinx on busy trains. Her personality was not even a redeeming feature but as I said, she was still a great character, who, for the purpose of this book, I didn't need to like.

Tubing was a good psychological thriller and I can completely see why it was such a popular book. It drew me in and I devoured it, but I didn't come away thinking wow, that was a great book. I came away with the feeling that it was a good way to pass the hours that it took me to read it. It was memorable in the 'What did I just read' way. It was not memorable in the 'that was so good, I must recommend it to my friends' way.

One word of caution for people considering reading this is that it is sexually graphic in places.

Thanks to RedDoor Publishing and NetGalley for providing me with a review copy of Tubing. This is my honest review.

Okay, a few chapters in I had to stop and ask myself, “what am I reading?!” But sure enough, the description of the book sets it up pretty well.

I can appreciate that the story hits the ground tuning pretty quick. I read through it pretty quickly, but that is what I was looking for to be honest.

I used to ride the bus on a commute, and after reading this story, I don’t think I would want to. I couldn’t imagine seeing someone do this, but I am sure there are people that are into this sort of thing. It was an awkward book to read while at work, but if you knew what you were expecting, you wouldn’t be surprised. I liked the twist at the end.

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
