Kylie's Kiss is a beautifully written inspirational romance. I always enjoy Ms. Latham's book and her latest is no exception. Loved the plot and the characters. I highly recommend this book.

Kylie has lived all her life under the shadow of her beauty-pageant mother and movie-star sister, leaving her with a horror of any form of facial imperfection and absolutely no self-esteem. Forced to visit Solomon's Gate matchmaking agency by a dare from a friend, she is certain that she will never measure up. But the man she is set up with quickly shows that he considers her beautiful both within and without, and things seem to be going well - until he shows her a picture of his daughter, who has terrible scarring on one side of her face from burns as a baby. Rick has long had a dream to create a centre where kids with facial scars etc can come to learn to live with their physical imperfections and grow confidence. Now his dream is coming true - but somehow it is no longer enough. Kylie has stolen his heart - but an overheard conversation makes him realise that things may not be that simple. Can Kylie overcome her phobia and learn to consider herself worthy of a good man's love? And will she ever get that toe-curling kiss she's longed for?

I really enjoyed this book, from first to last - with good writing, lovable characters, touching situations, a good message and some humour, what more could one want? I even learnt a new word - though I'm not sure I can spell it! Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good clean contemporary romance with a background Christian message (not over the top). An author to read more of...

Note that I received a free copy of the book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review and this is my considered opinion of the book.
