I love this book. We live in a time where the President can say anything and get away with it. This book brings humor and the cold truth to the surface.

Ahh yes, another humorous book based on the Trump presidency. I WILL TAKE IT! I am very glad the publisher approved my request for this book. The artwork is phenomenal. However, some of the rhymes did not flow as nicely as I would have hoped. But the point of this book is clear, creative, and comical. I thoroughly enjoyed the many different nicknames for women's genitalia! Definitely learned some new ones today. But I would say the strongest point of this book is the artwork. Thank you for your time and your ARC.

This was fun! What a great way to promote feminist and anti-Trump ideas, which I fully support. I only gave this 3 stars however for its constant repetitiveness and that some of the lines were a stretch.

Exactly what it says on the tin. Humorous and profane (albeit only to the extent you find synonyms for p#$$y to be profane). I enjoyed the paintings more when they were original subjects than when they were a painted replica of a photo (I'm looking at you, Michael Phelps).

Okay... so this book definitely has a title that grabs your attention.

For the most part, we all understand who will be reading this book, and it's not entirely based on politics. It's for those who want to approach this guy's record of sexism and harassment in an amusing way. And for the most part this book deliver a bit of humor at the expense of the current administration. What it doesn't deliver is a laugh-out-loud experience. It's repetitive (like a children's book would be) and seems to struggle by the middle. The last few pages seem to just be ideas they threw at the wall to see if they stick (they didn't). However, the artwork is pretty good, even though you're looking at faces you probably don't want to.

The one takeaway from this title? I learned quite a few new euphemisms, including a Carly Simon cassette. What?!

An incredibly awkward read, for a volume that claims to be a grown-up picture book. We get a selection of four-line verses across from a painted illustration, all with the intent of teaching President Trump to grab things other than the, er, lady-parts, of the author. However the said author seems to have been out the room when poetic beat and metering was taught, and that added to the rhymes being forced, and the euphemisms being generally crap, real or otherwise, made it not enjoyable at all. Not successful in entertaining, whatsoever.

Overall this book was entertaining, however as the pages went on it began to lose me as the reader.
THE ART
The painting style images were beautiful to look at. Although they didn't add anything to the story but rather provide a nice accompaniment. Each image related to the poem next to it and even featured references to modern culture. Memes for the win.
THE POEMS
Was each page meant to be a poem? Or just a bunch of lines? It was a little unclear to me. Regardless each page was interesting and provided an entertaining name for a vagina. However as mentioned before it did lose me as the pages went on. It slowly began to feel like each line was thrown onto the page. Having no relation to the other.
IN CONCLUSION
The book was entertaining and a qwerky read. I would recommend this book to individuals that want something light and funny to read. Sadly, this book wasn't for me.

I know for fact this won't be everyone's cup of tea and some with rant and rave but I loved this! As someone who feels we are truly living in a scary and unstable time, this was a nice chuckle. Some of the rhymes felt like a stretch but still, it was overall amusing. The illustrations are so well done!

The text itself is two stars, but the paintings that accompany each rhyme is worth the extra star. As for the rhymes themselves, I am not sure if the goal was political criticism, or to show how many euphemisms for vaginas the authors could incorporate.

It was a difficult “read”....I only got through the first quarter before I gave up. A little crude for my taste although I understand where the author was going. Not my cup of tea.

I requested this book on Netgalley because it seemed like a fun read for the weekend. Making fun of Donald Trump, while using rhyme and art? Yes please.

Let's start of by saying the artwork in this book is spot one. I liked the oil paintings, but I would have preferred a more "clean" style of art. But that is just personal taste.

The problem with humor is that everyone perceives it differently. And what some think is hilarious, others don't like at all. The rhymes were mostly funny, but not always the best they could be. The rhymes feel like they could belong in a children's book. So personally, I didn't think this was as funny as I thought it would (or could) be. I think the concept is great: each page says, in a slightly different way, what Donald Trump could grab instead of p#$$y. I wish the rhymes would have been a bit more "smart" or elaborate. On the other hand, it does feel like you have to talk like a little kid to make guys like Donald Trump understand what you mean, right?

All in all I like the idea and the message of this book. I just think it could've been better. Two stars for the text and one extra star for the artwork.

This book just missed the mark of funny. It was crass, rather than tongue in cheek or pithy, and overall (even as a Trump-hater) it felt juvenile and low-level humor. I love the concept of this little book, I just didn’t appreciate the execution.

Really funny, but a little over the top but what isn’t with a title as this and as I say it is funny. It also does make a point. Reality is reality, and these are the times we are living.

I really wanted to like this book. Two comedians got together to write a book of illustrated poems saying all the things that Trump could grab instead of "my p#ssy". I like the message and the idea behind the book but the wording was clunky and many of the synonyms for p#ssy came across as vulgar or crass instead of amusing (i.e. yogurt factory, lady udder, tuna pot pie). Also, the book seemed to reference specific things in the writers' lives such as the cousins that are also confused about what can be grabbed, an aunt's commune, and old roommate that went missing on a cruise. Perhaps that is just for filler or means something to other people who follow those comedians. If the illustrations were funny, it would have added more to the book but instead they are in a watercolor style and not particularly designed for laughs. I am giving this two stars, because I could see this a gag gift appealing to someone's else humor that is different than mine. I received this Advanced Reading Copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

really funny descriptions. The writing continued to surprise me and the pop references made it much more interesting. I enjoyed the style of the illustrations. This is a great gift for adults.

We live in a sad world where this book is actually needed for. Not all need this book, but very few does. It is a funny way of putting the right to decide who is allowed to touch your body. Still there is a silent cry over the poems. Hands up the the author for this book, sad, clever and a little bit funny.

I thought this was going to be totally different than it was. I hope this book is just electronic and not on printed paper because that would be a waste of a tree or two. Horrible, Horrible not even funny agh.

I requested this book from netgalley because...look at the cover! Of course, I would request a book with that cover and title!
I am usually at loss for words when it comes to reviewing poetry books, but this one was a lot easier for me. I would rather call it a "message in prose" because that is essentially what it was. Author Julia Young just wanted the readers to know that a woman's vagina is not something one should think to grab.
After the initial hilarity of the titles wears off, the poems do more or less become repetitive but as I stated before, there is one message being delivered so that is to be expected. I learned that there were many terms for a woman's beaver and that alone fascinated me but I still appreciated the comedic timing as well as the deep research that went into each and every one of these synonyms.

This is an easy idea for a housewarming present for your liberal millennial friends, except we've been priced out of the housing markets so we'll have to sneak it under our parents' coffee table books. Some rhymes were a reach (also wtf "yogurt factory"?) but I'm sure if you do a group read with copious amounts of libations and/or soothing herbs, doing a read-aloud or rap-aloud together would be lovely.

A book whose existence, unfortunately, was necessitated by rape culture and the unflinching perpetuation of rape culture. The book is more or less a tragedy reflecting how little a nation and its citizens has evolved and details alternatives that hopefully pussy grabber will embrace (or "grab", as it were) in the future. Thank you, Julia Young, for saying what shouldn't have had to be said.
