I know for fact this won't be everyone's cup of tea and some with rant and rave but I loved this! As someone who feels we are truly living in a scary and unstable time, this was a nice chuckle. Some of the rhymes felt like a stretch but still, it was overall amusing. The illustrations are so well done!

The text itself is two stars, but the paintings that accompany each rhyme is worth the extra star. As for the rhymes themselves, I am not sure if the goal was political criticism, or to show how many euphemisms for vaginas the authors could incorporate.

It was a difficult “read”....I only got through the first quarter before I gave up. A little crude for my taste although I understand where the author was going. Not my cup of tea.

I requested this book on Netgalley because it seemed like a fun read for the weekend. Making fun of Donald Trump, while using rhyme and art? Yes please.

Let's start of by saying the artwork in this book is spot one. I liked the oil paintings, but I would have preferred a more "clean" style of art. But that is just personal taste.

The problem with humor is that everyone perceives it differently. And what some think is hilarious, others don't like at all. The rhymes were mostly funny, but not always the best they could be. The rhymes feel like they could belong in a children's book. So personally, I didn't think this was as funny as I thought it would (or could) be. I think the concept is great: each page says, in a slightly different way, what Donald Trump could grab instead of p#$$y. I wish the rhymes would have been a bit more "smart" or elaborate. On the other hand, it does feel like you have to talk like a little kid to make guys like Donald Trump understand what you mean, right?

All in all I like the idea and the message of this book. I just think it could've been better. Two stars for the text and one extra star for the artwork.

This book just missed the mark of funny. It was crass, rather than tongue in cheek or pithy, and overall (even as a Trump-hater) it felt juvenile and low-level humor. I love the concept of this little book, I just didn’t appreciate the execution.

Really funny, but a little over the top but what isn’t with a title as this and as I say it is funny. It also does make a point. Reality is reality, and these are the times we are living.

I really wanted to like this book. Two comedians got together to write a book of illustrated poems saying all the things that Trump could grab instead of "my p#ssy". I like the message and the idea behind the book but the wording was clunky and many of the synonyms for p#ssy came across as vulgar or crass instead of amusing (i.e. yogurt factory, lady udder, tuna pot pie). Also, the book seemed to reference specific things in the writers' lives such as the cousins that are also confused about what can be grabbed, an aunt's commune, and old roommate that went missing on a cruise. Perhaps that is just for filler or means something to other people who follow those comedians. If the illustrations were funny, it would have added more to the book but instead they are in a watercolor style and not particularly designed for laughs. I am giving this two stars, because I could see this a gag gift appealing to someone's else humor that is different than mine. I received this Advanced Reading Copy from NetGalley for an honest review.

really funny descriptions. The writing continued to surprise me and the pop references made it much more interesting. I enjoyed the style of the illustrations. This is a great gift for adults.

We live in a sad world where this book is actually needed for. Not all need this book, but very few does. It is a funny way of putting the right to decide who is allowed to touch your body. Still there is a silent cry over the poems. Hands up the the author for this book, sad, clever and a little bit funny.

I thought this was going to be totally different than it was. I hope this book is just electronic and not on printed paper because that would be a waste of a tree or two. Horrible, Horrible not even funny agh.

This is an easy idea for a housewarming present for your liberal millennial friends, except we've been priced out of the housing markets so we'll have to sneak it under our parents' coffee table books. Some rhymes were a reach (also wtf "yogurt factory"?) but I'm sure if you do a group read with copious amounts of libations and/or soothing herbs, doing a read-aloud or rap-aloud together would be lovely.

A book whose existence, unfortunately, was necessitated by rape culture and the unflinching perpetuation of rape culture. The book is more or less a tragedy reflecting how little a nation and its citizens has evolved and details alternatives that hopefully pussy grabber will embrace (or "grab", as it were) in the future. Thank you, Julia Young, for saying what shouldn't have had to be said.

This was mostly funny, though I do think some of the rhymes were a stretch. For the most part I enjoyed the random names for vaginas, though I could have done without "crusty crustacean." The illustrations were cool, but I don't think they added much to the book.

“Through campy pop culture rhymes and beautiful oil paintings, the narrator of our book guides you through a list of things you CAN grab while offering more poetic ways to refer to a woman’s genitalia than the word “pussy” that Trump so vulgarly used. As the narrator goes on, she lets you know more about her relatives (a reclusive aunt with a lazy eye) and her interests (Justin Bieber’s Instagram) while never losing sight of her mission to make the President as uncomfortable as possible. We think that the President, not to mention men in Hollywood, Wall Street, the news media and beyond, can benefit from reading our book. No matter who you are, or how dumb you are, you’ll be able to understand this book’s simple message: Hands off my pussy!”

Okay, great. Right up my alley. I hate Tr*mp and I love stuff that makes fun of the atrocious things he’s said.
Man, I wish this was better. I think one of the main things that turned me off is how vulgar it is? Which is like, Hannah, you watch Game of Thrones, what are you talking about, but hear me out. It’s not exactly the nicest visual to have your vagina referred to as a “crusty crustacean”, a “yogurt factory”, and a “meat locker.” GROSS. It made me sO uncomfortable and I can’t even tell you why. I just felt…violated, I guess? Wasn’t a good feeling, I know that.
Okay, you say, Hannah you should’ve expected something like this going into a book with pussy in the title. Which is a fair point. But what’s the point of reading if you don’t give things a chance, even if you aren’t sure if you’ll like them or not. I tried, and I didn’t like it, but I stepped out of my comfort zone, which is something.
This is a super short comic/graphic novel, but it got to a point where the repetition of “you can grab this political reference, but don’t grab my vag” was becoming boring. I also thought the art was super ugly.
But it could’ve been worse and I added a star, totaling 2, just because it’s against Tr*mp, lol.

One of the most hilarious books that I have read in a good while. I especially enjoyed the juxtaposition of beautiful artwork with irreverent and comical text.

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher in exchange for a fair review. I have to admit that the title and cover picture 'grabs' attention.
The book itself is a poem that is quite apt in the time of the current American president and also the #MeToo movement. There is no shortage of political commentary throughout the verse!
It reiterates the need for respect while at the same time informing the reader of various slang terms for certain parts of the female anatomy. This area may be out of bounds for all but the author but there is certainly enough other things one can grab--even Justin Bieber!

A short rhyming picture book with a clear message: Don't grab women's genitalia. I appreciate the sentiment (and the ongoing objection to President Trump) but found the work underwhelming overall.

Four-line rhyming stanzas attempt to teach the Trumpster Dumpster and other asses like him what shouldn’t be touched without permission. Each little poem ends with a euphemism for the one word you would expect, some of them quite confusing.
I am a rhyming fanatic; I’ve even called out my fave musicians when they cheat on this, so it’s no surprise when I say that some of these attempts are atrocious. Maybe that explains why some of those that do rhyme make no sense whatsoever.
A few of the highly impressionistic drawings are lovely and funny, but most are just there.
If there’s one thing to take away here, it’s that this sets some high expectations and doesn’t meet them. Nowhere near as funny as the publicity pretends. A little bit more thought, and maybe not so lowbrow, and it might have hit the sweet spot.

I received a free copy from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was just ok for me, nothing earth shattering. It definitely got the point across, made me chuckle, and broadened my vocabulary. I now have at least 20 more different names for pussy in my arsenal. The illustrations were well done.

A short collection of 'smart alecky' poems & corresponding artwork/paintings that are spot on! The title & artwork are totally appropriate, & I doubt that today anyone should be offended by the subject matter. The artwork within the pages is great!
I received this e-ARC from NetGalley & the publisher, Animal Media Group....in return for my own fair & honest review.
