Heartbreak at Roosevelt Ranch is my first read by Elise Faber and it has definitely inspired me to seek out more of her work. This is a mesmerizing, and beautifully executed storyline with well-developed characters that reel you in from the moment their story unfolds.

Ms Faber puts so much emotion and genuine feeling into her writing that the characters truly come to life and captivate the reader throughout the entire book. Thank you to NetGalley for approving my ARC copy of this amazing story.

Melissa and Rob were high school sweethearts and now they are married with 2 kids and a dog. And when Melissa finds a cell phone hidden under their mattress and on it are texts from another woman, she starts to see all the clues that lead her to believe her husband is having an affair.

This book just broke my heart! I wanted to shake Melissa and tell her to confront him and then kick him out. And as for Rob ... well you don't really want to know what I wanted to do to him. At times I just wanted to through the book across the room and then in the next chapter I just wanted to cry ... and I did. My heart hurt for the whole situation. You know it's a great book when it can get such strong feelings from you. I highly recommend this book and just remember to have tissues close by.

I received an ARC courtesy of the author through Net Galley in exchange for a honest review.
