Honestly I was disappointed with this read. I thought it had some promising parts but overall, wasn’t a fan.

The story continues and will it bring them closer together or further apart as Sloane and Megan work together. Great ending.

A great sexy introduction to this series. I loved the characters and feel in love with their storyline. Need more from this series.

I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. Unfortunately, I was given book 2 but not book 1 so I entered mid-story. Either way this book felt like it went by too fast for me. It left me wanting more. I'm hoping there is a book 3. I'm a sucker for a good love story and even more with the whole girl who finds love with a man she thinks is out of her league. It gives us all hope and this one was no different.

ARC Provided via NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

I tried to like this book, I really tried.
There's no answers I was seeking from book 1, no character growth, no emotion. The plot/story was a good one, but it seemed to be missing key pieces, and lacked in growth.
Sadly I can recommend this book.

See my review of the first book in this series. The book is far too short and is an immediate turn off having only 7 chapters in it.

I got the second book free through Net Galley, but I bought it through Kindle because I couldn’t wait to find out the end of this series.
I read this series on a lazy Sunday and it was the perfect Sunday read.
I loved this short romance series. If you love a good HEA; this book is it. Absolutely loved this book series, even though it’s short. See what Cain does, it’s worth the read.

If you like a train wreck this Series should not be missed. Book two turns up the angst, misery, bad decisions and drama to epic levels. So if that is your thing your going to love it. For me, it was a turn off. I don't feel a HEA is obtainable after what happened in this book.

I received an ARC copy of this book from Netgally in exchange for a honest review. All opinions in this review are my own.

Well I finally made myself read the second book in this series. I got both the first book and second book at the same time via Netgally and I was kicking myself over requesting the second without reading the first book. I had issues with the first book that revolved around how the hero treated the main woman and how Megan (our female lead) felt like a cardboard cutout of a character.

The book starts out pretty good. You get to see a character from the last book, Caine, who really caught my interest (and Megan's). It goes downhill fast. You get the usual betrayal thrown into our main relationship. Megan turns to Caine and you get to read about a complex adventure filled with danger. For awhile it feels like the author was trying to throw a love triangle in the book which was disappointing.

Megan really becomes more then a cardboard cutout character. She never really grows as a person emotionally.

I would not recommend this book or this series to others. Both the first and second books were ok but I never really enjoyed them. The book's only real positive was that it does have some hot love scenes. The author did a good job writing that aspect. If your looking for a hot alpha performing said hot love scenes this might be a good book for you however the storyline and characters tend to be disappointing.

I received an arc from Netgalley. I didn’t overly enjoy this book. The way she flipped between the two brothers so easily was kind of a turn off when she knew who had her heart.

3.5 Stars
Everything He Wants: Lies by Jenna Fox is book Two in Everything He Wants series. This continues the story of Sloane Rothchild and Megan Walter. I do feel that you have to read the firs book "Everything He Wants: Obedience" to fully enjoy this one since their story started with that book.
This book is dealing with Megan and her feelings for Sloane and also how Slona's brother Cain is after her too. But this book does have Cain actions hurting Megan and showing his true colors.
We do finally get a happy ending in this book.

I read this part of the series and I have to say that I am not thrilled either. This book is so confusing, Megan does not know if she want Sloan or Cain, she sleep with both of them.Love, hate, betrayal,no job,no money...I am so sorry but I was barely waiting to finish this book.Thank you Net Galley and publisher for this opportunity ,I will try to give this book another chance, maybe I like it more. For now ,I give 3 stars.

This novel is very intriguing and quite an interesting read. Written suitably to its genre, its everything you seek to find in an great novel and so much more. It has the tenacity to keep you strapped in for the ride that is the story. I would highly recommend reading this novel, i personally enjoyed it and I am a hard one to please for the most part, especially when it comes to erotic novels or novels of the adult genre.

I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the others but I loved it. It was a great ending to the story.
What makes this book different then others? Well I’ve never read something like it before so there’s that. Of course now a days you and get books about sex. But there’s not many that have illegal things happen in them lol.

You'll definitely have to read the first book to understand this one. I read both books back-to-back, this one was just... not as exciting for me... Definitely didn't like it as much as the first one. Honestly both books could have been combined.
It was a good end to the series? ... well two part book

I really don't know what I expected from this one. Actually, I don't think I expected much at all.

This one was just so-so for me... Didn't like it as much as the first one. I reckon this one could have been combined with the first one, instead of having 2 books. They were both really short reads.

A great finish to this two-part series that has guaranteed I will read more from this author.

I really didn’t see this coming I mean Cait, what is wrong with you. I’m happy the way it ended. My only complain is I wish it was longer. I want more from Megan and Solane. I wanted more togetherness.

Please make sure you read Obedience first, as without the background of the first book, this one will not make sense!

Lies picks up where Obedience left off and the mystery and intrigue continue at an accelerated pace. Megan and Sloane are put through the proverbial wringer by Cain as he is a primary player in all events that take place throughout this second story; and while his motives may seem confusing early on, they become abundantly clear so as the story progresses.

A great finish to this two-part series that has guaranteed I will read more from this author.

I really don't know what I expected from this one. Actually, I don't think I expected much at all. Meagan is again naive. Sloan is again mean and distrustful. Cain is well Cain! She takes it all in and decided Sloan is right in his belief about her and his company. I just wanted her to fight a little harder. I would liked to have had a glimpse into what happens to all the characters months later or even a year later. This was just so-so for me. I read this in less than two hours. I paid 99¢ for the first book. Not sure if I would pay that for this one too. Too short in my opinion and maybe if they were combined into one book?

I received this ARC from the publisher via Net Galley at my request for my honest opinion. Thank you Net Galley!
