A healthy way to create delicious meals and snacks for kids. Very well explained and easy to reproduce the recipes.

Maybe it's just me, but... there are so many things in this book that I would not eat based on the look. And I am not a kid and I really like veggies. But maybe they will be appetizing for kids?

the recipes are quite creative indeed, but some just reminded me of those vintage food pictures and I did not feel like cooking any of them. I feel guilty for saying this, but I would not use this cookbook :(.

What a wonderful book! I just love 'Bean Sprouts Kitchen' - it is full of bright colourful pictures and exciting, healthy recipes that would be easy for families to make together.
I, personally, love cooking and exploring new recipes and different styles of cooking but I also have an interest in healthy eating and with two young children I am keen to invest time in making a variety of healthy meals which is certainly made easy with the recipes in this book. The thing I really like about it though is how easily it can be used as a starting point to get children involved in cooking as well as excited about their food.
I would happily recommend this book and will be using it at home with my girls as well as in the classroom!

The recipes presented in this book are taken right off the menu of the kid-friendly restaurant chain - 'Bean Sprouts'. The author presents creative eye-catching dishes sure to gather the attention of children and adults alike. As it's been said many times before, "we eat with our eyes."

Healthy food alternatives are at the top of the list of priorities for the recipes contained in this masterful cookbook. The simplicity of many of the recipes make this the go-to stop for getting it done quick and easy. For an added kick, there are many suggestions to get the child to participate in preparing the dishes such as using child scissors. For the most part, all preparation is simple and easy. Expertise in the kitchen is not a requirement. Now that's my kind of cooking.

I extend my gratitude to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group - Fair Winds Press for this ARC in exchange for an unbiased review.

The book looks cute and really creative. the instructions are kid level easy, but I don't think my kid will eat it. Sure, they have googly eyes, or cute tentacles, but this is not enough for a serve, and it is too time consuming to make a larger amount.
Totally good idea, but some are border lining on impractical for a time poor parent.

I wasn't convinced these were well balanced meals as much fun as they appear to be. I do think these can be fun to incorporate occasionally but not realistic for every day.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I am sad, after reading this book, that I can't patronize the restaurant Bean Sprouts kitchen daily. It looks like so much fun. I have a picky three-year-old and as so many moms out there I tear my hair out trying to come up with creative ways to get her to eat her dinner. Many pinter-fails later, I am still at a loss. This book is a godsend for a mom like me.

The recipe book includes 60 recipes from their restaurant menu that have been thoroughly tested by 1000's of kids from their 15 locations in the United States. The philosophy of their restaurant is to "Spark children's appetites with yummy, good-for-you food; and delight grown-ups with a happier mealtime." They have achieved that! I am an adult and I am interested in making mealtime more fun for myself, let alone my child after reading this. Who doesn't want a quesadilla shaped like a rocket ship?!

A fantastic gift for a parent and/or grandparent who wants more fun and an easier time at meals with their kid. Highest possible recommendation!

Bean Sprouts Kitchen is such a fun cookbook for families. The pictures are beautiful and the recipes sound amazing. Each recipe is easy follow, and many use ingredients or leftovers from other recipes. Making healthy food should be fun for kids, it doesn't always have to look like plain veggies on a section of their divided plate. I enjoy making creative lunches for my children, this book is a perfect addition to our kids cookbook library. My kids cannot wait to try the Mac and Cheetah recipe!

Super cute collection of very kid-friendly recipes! The presentation is the big seller here - foods made into bugs, monsters, islands and much more. These could be a great way to get the super picky eater to try foods they otherwise wouldn't and kids could get involved in making foods which often increases their desire to try new foods. Many recipes can be made vegetarian or vegan with some simple substitutions, though if you're looking specifically for veg-friendly recipes, this isn't likely the best collection as many call for ground turkey, eggs, etc. Recipes come together quickly due to the use of some pre-made items such as pizza dough, canned beans and frozen waffles and the use of simple ingredients. Recipes include meals, snacks, drinks and sweet treats. This would be a cute gift for the new parent.

Thanks to Quarto Publishing Group – Fair Winds Press and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this fun book in exchange for my honest review.
