Saturday for many of us is an epitome of less crazy and less hectic day, time when we can relax and enjoy life more, take more time to prepare a meal, and, maybe prepare something more elaborate and intricate. Or, just make something simple but with more enjoyment, What if the Saturday mood transports to other days (or evenings) of the weeks? Plenty of straightforward recipes, some using pantry staples, and yet, it makes you feel like the Saturday night is still young and a lazy Sunday morning ahead!

If you tired of making the same dishes over and over again, this cookbook is for you!! Every Day is Saturday is such an inspiring cookbook. I love the author's writing style, gorgeous photograph, and what I love the most about this book is how easy it is to follow the recipe's instructions.
Also, there's a section for the pantry list for stuff that you need and a section for "what to do with leftover". Truly this is a must-have cookbook, Can't recommend enough!

Gorgeous recipe book with super simple instructions. I have made several recipes from this book and loved them all!

This cookbook embodies the spirit of hygge and comfort foods like a warm hug. I loved the transition from weeknight to weekend meals and I found the recipes easy to follow. From brunch to midday meals to grazing platters, there is something in this book for everyone. My two favorite sections of the cookbook were "Cooking for Friends" and "Projects." I liked the pizza night and the all-occasion taco feast meal ideas for entertaining a large group, which are now personal favorites. Under the "Projects" section, I liked the spicy vegetable stock and the fabulous Sunday sauce. If you want inspiration and foods that make everyday feel like the weekend, try out Sarah Copeland's Every Day Is Saturday.

I love the title to this cookbook! I am one of those people who through the week tend to do something simple and easy. Maybe not every night but most weeknights. The recipes in this book though changed how I thought about weeknight cooking.
There are recipes for every meal from breakfast to dinner to a potluck. I loved how the recipes were simple enough to use what I almost always had on hand. Yet the meals they made were elaborate in taste and looks.
I will admit that I purchased this particular cookbook after reviewing the kindle copy so I could take notes along the side as well as have a book to flip through when I am meal planning.

Sometimes a cookbook can be lots more than recipes, and Every Day is Saturday: Recipes + Strategies for Easy Cooking, Every Day of the Week (Easy Cookbooks, Weeknight Cookbook, Easy Dinner Recipes) by Sarah Copeland is one of them. The book is filled not only with mouthwatering recipes, but also stories and vignettes that are fun to read. It's always fun to read a book where the personality of the author comes through; it helps readers know that author and want to prepare the dishes. It also helps when there are beautiful photographs, and this cookbook includes plenty of them.
Copeland includes menus that are suitable for a nice family dinner or for entertaining; they aren't too fussy, and are doable for everyone. The recipes are mostly easy and concise - cooks at every level, from beginning to advanced, will be able to turn out picture-perfect dishes. Some of her accompaniments are unexpected, like a Cuban version of black beans and fried plantains to accompany a taco feast - Yum! There is a fabulous recipe for Grilled Skirt Steak with Chimichurri that is requested often, as well as the author's "go to" Magic Pork Shoulder which is a cut above and is delicious. The recipes have international leanings: Italian, Mexican, Cuban, and American, and there is something in this excellent cookbook that will appeal to almost everyone. The side dishes are nice, the desserts are mouthwatering, and the main dishes and salads are incredible.
The cookbook includes about 100 recipes, which isn't a huge amount, but since they are appealing ? some unique and others traditional with innovative twists - there are plenty of recipes to keep cooks busy and happy for a very long time. This cookbook is definitely worth adding to every cookbook collection and will be used often.
Special thanks to NetGalley for supplying a review copy of this book.

What a fabulous book! Jam-packed with recipes, hints, photos, ideas, menus, etc. Once you start looking at it, you won't be able to just put it down. And don't look at it if you are hungry! Most of the recipes are easy to make, so don't be overwhelmed. The author really helps those who are not extremely experienced in all of these areas. I loved it. I highly recommend this book. You will look like a pro when having dinner or party from these recipes!

This cook book covers everything you need to cook quick and easy meals. All occasions are covered.. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. The recipes are accompanied with wonderful photographs. This is a very practical cook book to use. again and again. Enjoy.

Easy, easy but satisfying meals that will come in handy during the busy week days! Unique and well laid out. The photographs are pure art!

Beautiful photographs, and a amazing layout that complimets the information in this book. Recipes seem great, although I wasn'r able to test them because of the watermark.

Busy working women know that the phrase Everyday is Saturday refers to your ability to cook for your family on the weekend when you have more time to make sure the meals are enjoyable. This cookbook includes many delicious, quick, easy recipes that will in fact let you do your weekend cooking everyday. My daughter and I split the recipes between us to try and have yet to find one that we thought did not fit the title. With little time to cook, this book should be one of your favorites!

Such a fun cookbook. Lots of good and doable recipes. The photos make me want to cook every recipe. Definitely a collectors book to have available all the time. I will be buying my own copy to have. Yum!

I wish Everyday day was Saturday!! this book is soo much fun. Yummy recipes. Bright pictures. Can't get enough. Sarah's writing is very incising.

This is a very nice cookbook with some very nice recipes in them and it's very well written and photographed. I wish they would have made it a little easier to review this book, so worried about copyright infringement, they made it almost impossible to make some of the recipes and give an honest opinion of them along with lines, and marks that ruin the beauty of the book, I really wonder why it was even available for review purposes! However, that aside, it is a book that I would like to investigate further and make a few dishes out of so I can give a full, honest review! Perhaps after it's published, I'll buy it and come back and update my review! (Hence 3 stars)

I would like to thank the publisher for gifting me a digital ARC of this title via Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.
I have only seen this in digital form (I prefer print for cookbooks) but was impressed by the beautiful pictures accompanying the recipes. It is a well organized and easy to use cookbook. The pictures made me hungry and want to get right in the kitchen. There was a nice mix of familiar foods and new recipes that I have not tried that would make this cookbook useful and fun for me. Even the more familiar food were done in different ways that I wanted to try. The recipes all appeared healthy, fresh, and tasty. I enjoyed looking through this cookbook and look forward even more to tasting the recipes. (hope my attempts look as great as the photos!)

A gorgeous book that makes you WANT to cook-- that's my kind of cookbook. I love to spend time in the kitchen, and this book spoke to me on that level.

Thoroughly enjoyed the photography and the simplicity and diversity of recipes offered within this book. Well written, gorgeous photos. Perfect cookbook to give someone looking for quick meals.

The goal of this book is to encourage you to eat throughout the week the way you do on the weekend, and it starts with cleaning out the kitchen, stocking the pantry, and making sure you have the right tools. Book includes gluten free options, alternative flours, lots of fresh ingredients, and a "get ahead" tip on many recipes of how you can do something ahead of time/make extra to freeze/etc. Lots of photos but many of them are more lifestyle than the actual recipes. The author is the former Food Director at Real Simple magazine.

This is such a lovely cookbook! First of all, the name is absolutely perfect and super appealing to anyone who has busy weekdays, but still wants to sit down to a delicious and gourmet-ish dinner at the end of a long day. But it's more than just weekday dinners; the book is packed with breakfasts that feel like weekend breakfasts but can be enjoyed during the week, lunches, snacks, desserts and drinks, plus more time-consuming weekend projects and meals to entertain friends. Everything feels very accessible.
So many of the dishes are quite simple and easy, but elevated through the use of special ingredients, fresh and colorful vegetables, and the perfect garnishes. Basically, every dish in this book feels extremely Instagram-friendly! Though photos aren't always necessary for cookbooks, it feels like they're becoming more and more important as we shift to becoming even more of a visual society. I love that this book is packed with photos of so many of the dishes... And yes, it's gorgeous photography; enough so that you may want to make this a coffee table book.
"Every Day is Saturday" is the kind of cookbook where I bookmark every other page with a recipe I want to try and would be a welcome addition to any cookbook shelf!

This cookbook proposes to share easy recipes, but I didn't think most of the recipes were that easy or time-saving. They involve a lot of preparation time (cutting, chopping) and some techniques that are not that commonly used by the average person (poaching, braising). The font used seems a bit small for a cookbook, and the book also seems a bit too cluttered with personal stories that weren't all that interesting to me. I wasn't all that attracted to most of the recipes and would not buy this cookbook. However, if you are a gourmet cook and have lots of time to try new things, maybe this might be interesting for you.
