Becky Wade has another winner with the Bradford Sisters series finale Sweet on You.
Britt Bradford and Zander Ford, both of whom appear in the previous two books, finally get their book. Sweet on You, however, is not your average “best friends fall in love “ story. Britt and Zander have been friends for years, but Britt is oblivious to the fact that Zander has loved her all this time. Becky Wade moves them from “just friends” to forever in the most perfect romantic tale ever!

Becky Wade has done a masterful job telling this story. We learn some of Britt and Zander’s backstory through a series of notes and letters at the end of each chapter. Some of these contain the most tender expressions of their growing relationship that will ultimately end in love. The spiritual lessons contained in the story are thought provoking, but not preachy as is typical of books written by this author. We also are reunited with characters from the first two books in the series including the Bradford sisters’ grandma who provides humorous commentary!

The word pictures painted in this book are delightful. Wade is an expert wordsmith! One of my favorites: “He looked at her as if she’d just announced that the koi in the pond were performing a play.”

Occasionally there is a book that I want to read as quickly as possible to get to the end of the story, but at the same time I don’t want to read it at all because it will be over! This is such a book and I recommend it to anyone who loves love!

This was the perfect ending to a wonderful series. I enjoyed the pervious two novels which focused on the two older Bradford sisters and really looked forward to reading 'Sweet on You'. The story of Britt and Zander was a long time coming. I've been frustrated with Britt and her treatment of Zander for quite some time.

This book brings all the tension between the two and allows us to focus on them. For a romance book this brought a lot of mystery and suspense into the equation. I have always enjoyed Becky Wade's stories and this series is one of the best.

I was excited to return to Merryweather and get to really know Bailey and Zander. I’ve been following their friendship through the 2 previous books, and it was no secret that Zander has more than friendship feelings for Bailey, but she had no idea. This story lived up to my hopes and desires. I really enjoyed seeing Bailey slowly realize her true feelings for Zander and learn to take a risk. Their story is wonderful, the chemistry between these two had me cheering for them the whole way through. While the romance was my favourite part of this book the addition of the art mystery gave me a bit of suspense that tend to look for in stories. I highly recommend reading this series from the first book, you will fall in love with not only the Bradford sisters but also the Merryweather community. Becky Wade has quickly become one of my favourite authors and while I am sad to say goodbye to these sisters I look forward to discovering her next story.

Whip-smart and snappy dialogue with a dash of sass and a dose of adorable populate the pages, keeping the tone fast-paced and emitting the easy, comfortable way that Britt & Zander have with each other.

Sweet on You by Becky Wade is a phenomenal end to this series. I have read the other two books before reading this one and I have to say that this one was the best of the three! I absolutely loved the relationship between the two main characters and the witty, romantic dialogue that develops between them. This book has some of the best romantic moments and dialogues that I have read. I stayed up way too late reading this book and I actually sent the author a message to tell her how much I enjoyed this book. I highly recommend it. I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

I am not a huge fan of Christian romances but I like sweet love as much as anyone. Although I hadn’t read the first books in this series I thought it might be a nice intro to the author and I was right. I wasn’t expecting the contemporary romance, immediately a friends to lovers tale, to also be a decently told thriller about an art heist. There’s a lot going on in the plot here besides the main romance and their major points (he’s tortured! And a writer! She’s a chocolatier! And an adrenaline addict!) but it mostly held together. Four sweet as chocolate stars.

Sweet on You is the conclusion to the Bradford Sisters trilogy, and gives the readers the story of Britt and Zander. Britt runs her own chocolate shop, Sweet Art, in Merryweather Historical Village, and Zander has just returned from a year and a half of travelling around the world in order to attend his Uncle Frank's funeral. Zander has been in love with Britt forever, but she has always seen him as one of her best friends. Should he make his feelings known, or should he try yet again to move on? And what is the truth about Uncle Frank's death, was it really just an accident?

I love Becky Wade's sweet romances, and I love the Bradford sisters. I didn't quite connect with Britt as much as Nora and Willow in the previous novels, but I did enjoy seeing how everyone was doing, and seeing Britt and Zander work through their relationship changes. I also loved seeing snippets of the caring things they'd done for each other over the years, without the other's knowledge. It certainly made for a "sweet" friends to more romantic tale. The mystery component of the book, while intriguing, wasn't even the highlight of the book for me; I enjoyed revisiting these sisters and their expanding family so much more!

I give this book 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4. Overall, this series comes together nicely, and I hope that maybe the author finds another reason to end up in Merryweather so that we can check in on the Bradfords! I definitely recommend reading them in order, starting with True to You, followed by Falling for You, and concluding with Sweet on You.

What do you get when you combine friendship, chocolate and a love story - a fabulous book titled Sweet On You by Becky Wade. It is the third book in the Bradford Sisters Series. My only regret is not reading the first two before I read this one. It is certainly capable of standing on its own, but I can only imagine the richness it would have brought to know the other sisters and their stories before diving into Britt and Zander's story. Britt is following her dream of creating chocolate treats in her own shop. Zander is traveling the world when he is hit with news of his Uncle's death. When he returns to his hometown to sort out the details, Britt is thrilled to see her best friend. But, for Zander it's much more than that. He's been in love with her for years and everyone but Britt can see it. Can he maintain a friendship without exposing his true feelings? Will Britt discover a deeper truth? And a not-to-be forgotten twist of mystery surrounding his Uncle's death. Sweet On You brings romance, friendship, faith and mystery together in a way that warms your spirit and awakes deeper thoughts. I will now be going back to read the previous sisters stories as I can't wait to see what I missed!

I was really looking forward to reading about Britt and Zander's relationship, since they have the perfect friendship vibe in the previous books. Britt's older sisters can see that Zander is sweet on Britt, but Britt just wants things to stay the way they always have. Honestly, I felt bad for Zander throughout the course of the story. Here he has waited for Britt his whole life (what guy does that?!) and she kind of buries her head in the sand. I felt like Zander got the short end of the stick.

First off, I should say that the cover of this book was absolutely gorgeous. It was what drew me to the book in the first place. The premise wasn't bad either. I enjoy stories where best friends get together.
However, this book had just too many details. It got quite tiring after the first 2 chapters.
I was more interested in the romance than in the mystery behind Zander's uncle's death but it was too slow for me. And I hated that Britt was so obvious. It got kind of annoying.
I understand her reasons for keeping Zander as just friends but it was just sad.
I think slow-going mystery books just aren't for me. But if you like mystery, with some romance, you might enjoy this book more than I did.

I have not been in a particular hurry to read Becky Wade’s romances, but if they’re all as good as Sweet on You, I have lied to myself. I need to hurry and read the first two in this series, although Sweet on You stands alone well.
Zander Ford has finally made a literary name for himself, only to be called home to deal with lies.
Lies like... he could get over loving Britt Bradford, his best friend... like the uncle who adopted him was everything he claimed to be...life could just go back to normal after his uncle’s funeral.
I loved the fact that this tale was more than just a fluffy romance. There was real substance to the problems that were keeping Zander and Britt apart. Plus, there was a great (for the reader) mystery involving the true identity of Zander’s uncle. Zander turns away from God because God doesn’t answer to Zander’s liking in Zander’s timing. This is so like us humans in general. I was brought up a little short as I wished Britt would stop being so self-sufficient that she held people at arm’s length. I realized I often try to make it on my own, not accepting others’ help. That doesn’t make us look strong, just stubborn. Ouch. But this is the best part of Christian fiction- seeing something of myself in a character that needs to be changed to produce a better person.
I found a few quotes to love.
“Once, he’d been an orphan convinced he didn’t need saving. But then Carolyn and Frank had proved him wrong when they’d gone ahead and saved him anyway.”
“He reminds me of a Dickens orphan. Tragic and brooding and gorgeous.”
“So many lies. The revealing of them made Zander feel as though the foundation of this house might be torn in half at any second by an earthquake.”
”He was God’s son. A son full of mistakes. But a son, nonetheless.”
I received a copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley. This in no way affected my opinions, which are solely my own.

This is book three in A Bradford Sisters Romance series (four if you count the prequel), even though it is a stand alone book you do miss a lot of the history in the Bradford sisters and Zander if you jump right into this one. Plus all three (or four) books are great reads so enjoy the entire series.

This novel will focus on Britt and Zander. They have been friends for years even if one is out of the country. When Zander finally comes home will their friendship blossom or shatter?

I love the sparks and friendship between Britt and Zander. Britts relationship with her family and so much more. There is mystery, romance, history and more all wrapped up in a great novel. I love the writing style of Becky Wade.

I love this author, but I will admit this series has been hit and miss for me. I loved the first book, the second wasn't my cup of tea, and so I was a little hesitant with this one. I will say that the over is well done though. It's the kind that you would pick up and look at just because of the cover. I'm not really sure what the cover has to do with the story, but it is pretty.

Do you need to read the other two stories before you read this one? No. Will it help with backstory and getting to know the other characters? Yes. It could stand alone, more than the other two I think. But if you wanted to read the other two, they all include spoilers of what will happen in the other sisters books, so just be aware of that.

With the last book I was annoyed at the "mystery" aspect. I didn't feel it added anything to the story. This book however, I didn't mind. It definitely needed it because there is only so much "I finally realize I like him, but I don't want to ruin my friendship" I can take. And there is a lot of that. A lot a lot of that in this book.

I do like the "friends to a relationship" aspect of this story, and I will admit I've always really liked Zander. Brit's character was kind of a miss to me, but I can see her really appealing to some readers. Anyway, this book did finish off the series nicely, and there is a chance I will read it again. I did like it more than the second book in the series.

This story was so inspiring and heartwarming, and it captivated me from the very beginning. I am a huge fan of Becky's romance writing, and I look forward to telling others about her great work. I also look forward to more of her creative writing.

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was a decent romance. Britt and Zander are childhood friends that have continued their friendship into adulthood. Zander is desperately in love with her but is scared to tell her for fear that it would ruin their friendship. Nothing new about this plot it's been done before. What's interesting is that the author decides to mix this with the mystery of his uncle's death. While at times it felt at odds with multiple plots at work, it worked out ok. We got our happy ending.

Sweet on You...I don't even know how to properly review this one. After reading (and loving) the first two books and prequel novella in this series, I was so looking forward to Sweet on You. It did not disappoint.

I felt so many emotions with this story. Zander was the perfect hero. He waited so patiently before telling Britt about his feelings and you know that must have been difficult.

I was pleasantly surprised by the mystery in this book. It was quite intense at times; which I enjoyed, but wasn't expecting in a contemporary romance. :)

All in all, I loved Sweet on You and recommend it. Can't wait for Wade's next book.

Britt Bradford and Zander Ford have been best friends for years. At least that’s what Britt has always thought, but she has been completely ignorant of the fact that Zander has loved her for years. Never wanting to rock the boat of friendship between them, he has kept his feelings to himself. As time has gone on, Zander has been worn down watching Britt give her heart to others without giving him a second thought. He doesn’t feel alive if he is not with Britt, but he is tortured when he is around her because of his feelings.

In the midst of all this angst, Zander must cut his trip short and return home because of the sudden death of his uncle. Shockingly, it appears everything known about the man has been a lie. He immediately throws himself into discovering the truth, and Britt insists on helping. Working together not only exposes Zander to more heartache, both of their lives are jeopardized. The question changes from whether or not Zander and Britt can become a couple, but instead, will the two of them survive?

Setting this in the small village of Merryweather, adds charm and fun to the tale, along with the pleasure of Britt’s amazing chocolate creations, and the faith of the characters. This thrilling story will keep you on the edge of your seat reading pages as fast you can. This is the third installment in the Bradford Sisters Romance Series, but Sweet on You stands on its own. This is the most exciting book of the series, but I have loved them all, and highly recommend every single one. If you like clean, well-written stories, full of excitement you will enjoy this 5-star book.

"Sweet on You" is mainly a romance with a mystery woven into it. What is not to like, when a book includes a swoon-worthy hunk who just happens to be a world-renowned author, as well as including chocolate and stolen artwork?

This was my first experience with stories about this family. I did not like Britt at first, but she certainly grew as a character late in the novel. I did want too shake Britt and tell her to wake up to the love right in front of her!

I liked the way the author wrapped things up nicely at the end, explaining all in an epistolary style. The backstory on Frank and Carolyn was certainly interesting and intriguing. I had to suspend my skepticism, however, as Britt and Zander involved themselves in solving a very dangerous situation. When amateurs take over an investigation like this, I always want to tell them to stay out of it and let the law enforcement investigate. The suspense built until the end of the novel, and the plot moved forward well.

However, here are a few negatives about this book. Personally, I dislike cutesy names like Zander and Britt, but that is my opinion. I also got really tired of the ongoing "loves me, loves me not" interactions between Britt and Zander. Get on with it, people! I dislike the writing style that uses the short, incomplete sentences for emphasis, which seems so common in contemporary writing.

I received this book from the publisher and NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review. The opinions here are entirely my own.

Zander Ford met Britt Bradford when he was 14. Taken out of foster care by his aunt and uncle, and given the first stable home he'd ever known, Zander had already learned that keeping to himself saved him a lot of pain. Then Britt blitzed into his life and made him feel included, cared for, and loved - like a sister. Zander loves Britt, too, but unfortunately for his battered heart, the love he feels for her is as far from brotherly as it can possibly be. He even left town because he could no longer stand by and watch Britt fall in love with someone who wasn't him.

When Zander's uncle Frank dies under some mysterious circumstances, Zander returns to Merryweather for the funeral, and to look into things for his aunt. Britt is thrilled that her best friend is back, but very confused to find that the friendship she has placed such great store in has changed. And, what's with the tingles? She's never felt tingles around Zander before! He's her best friend, not her boyfriend, for crying out loud. She values their friendship too much to take him out of the friend zone, but if she doesn't, will she lose him altogether?

For his part, Zander can't continue to see Britt as just his friend. He's loved her - LOVED HER - for 13 years, and has watched her flit from boyfriend to boyfriend, never once considering him for the role. How can he possibly stand by and not speak up? As they work together to solve the mystery of Frank's death, will Britt finally see that the man she's been searching for has been her constant companion and friend more than half her life?

I have loved Zander's character from the first book in this series and have long thought that Britt was clueless to the point of being heartless. Sweet on You plumbs their depths a bit more than the other books did, and gives better reasons for her actions. Until this book, I didn't like her much, but after this book, I understood her better, and even grieved with her.

If you haven't read the other Bradford Sisters books, I would recommend starting with True to You, then Falling for You before you read Sweet on You. While Sweet on You can be read as a stand-alone novel, it is so much better when you know the family dynamics beforehand, and when you've already seen Zander and Britt interact. This is a contemporary Christian romance, with a touch of mystery and some suspense. As always, Becky Wade ROCKED this one! I loved it, and really wish there were more sisters for her to write about!! Highly recommend.

I am a huge fan of Becky Wade, meaning I have to read her books as soon as they come out and I was so excited to be included on the book tour for her latest novel, "Sweet on You." This is the last book in her Bradford Sisters series and I have loved every page in this series. Britt is the youngest sister of the three Bradford girls and let me say her story is full of adventure and sweetness. Britt spent time overseas studying and perfecting the art of making chocolates, reading the descriptions of what she was making in her kitchen made me crave chocolates! Britt's best friend since middle school, Zander, has returned home following his uncle's death and Britt is realizing that she has feelings for him that go past feelings of friendship. Zander has been in agony for so many years watching Britt have various boyfriends, but right now she is single, although there is a guy trying to get her attention. As secrets are being found out involving Zander's uncle and his death, Britt teams up with Zander to look for the truth, yet with hearts involved, everything becomes more complicated.
What I love most about this book is how descriptive the writing is. I could vividly picture Britt's home and her shop, along with Nora's home and her vintage gown of course along with the food and sweets that were made. It was so easy to get caught up in the story due to that and that the characters are so real and easy to love. I have loved this time with the Bradford family out in the state of Washington and now am looking forward to what Becky Wade may write next!
