Although I am far older than the target audience for this story it does leave a lot to be desired.
I certainly would not recommend it to anybody of any age.
Grammer is appalling and it needs far better editing.
The characters lacked depth which made the story hard work in places.
A real pity as the story has great potential.

3.5 Hearts I have to say first this is a YA story. But I picked it up mainly because I live right outside of Asheville and wanted to see how the author included the city in the story.

I read it with my son and we both enjoyed it. It really is more for YA then for adults but still a fenjoyable entertaining read for teenagers.

Jake is a great character.

I am sorry for taking so long with this book but it is not for me.
I tried to read it more than three times because I wanted to give it a chance. The story sounded great, the idea was great, I mean who doesn't love dragons?
But sadly, I couldn't connect with the characters enough to make me read the whole book.
There is just a spark missing for me or maybe I am just not in the right mood for this story.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for sending me this e-book.
