This regency romance was confusing to follow at times and I lost interest in the story on more than one occasion. The plot twists (like Wendell being a relative) seemed pretty obvious and unsurprising. I thought, from the title, that the weather aspect would play a more important role in the plot. The ending seemed too rushed IMHO, both in terms of the friendship between Ariana and Victoria and Alexander's identity.

Although I was intrigued by the blurb of the book, It was difficult to get into the swing of it and I lost my enthusiasm early on in the book.
The main characters seem charming though.
I will definitely look into another book from author as this story might have not been to my particular liking.

This book was a bit confusing at first. There were many different characters introduced at the beginning that I wasn't exactly sure who the main characters were. I almost gave up on it. However, once I got into the book it all became clear. This was a nice story with a satisfying ending.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for this ARC.

This was the first book I have read from this author and I was surprised by how well written it was. It was a fast and easy to read book. I would recommend if you are looking for a sweet romance that is a fast read.

I truly enjoyed the book. Plot was good. Female lead strong and independent. Love story progressing. I Absolutaly love the front page cover. This is book number 1 in the series. I will look forward to next book by this author.

My first read by this author. What a surprise I enjoyed her story very much and will keep my eyes open for more of her books.I can really recommend this book

This story was not to my taste. It needs a polish in the dialogue to synchronize modern phrasing to the time period.

I had serious difficulties with this book. First, the grammar/voice was all over the place. Like someone else pointed out, it was a weird mix of modern and old English. It was extremely jarring. Second, the plot was just ridiculous. I love historicals, but the storyline made no sense to me.
