Amazing book. I truly loved it and highly recommended it to many of my followers who have since read it and adored it.

Fluffy, and sometimes too farfetched. A bit too cotton candy for my liking. It was an enjoyable but forgettable read. Not feeling too enthused about this book.

Thank you for the opportunity to read this book, it was very enjoyable. I found the plot line engaging and the characters believable. A lighthearted and humorous tale.I have not read anything by this author before but will do in the future! I will be recommending this book to friends and family.

I adore the English chick lit genre. It’s fun unraveling the meaning of words and phrases a bit foreign to the American ear. This take on the runaway bride involves two friends who have in one case become a stay at home mom and the other immersed completely in her career. As stated life has intervened on each of our characters and changed them from carefree, boisterous fun loving twenty somethings to exhausted stressed forty lived in women. I will say I hated Ava’s hanger on of a boyfriend fiancé from his introduction and was a bit bewildered at her patience with his sloth. Gladly Karma came through in the end but not as splendidly as I would have liked. I did admire the moral lesson in the end from a teacher using her computer skills to reveal the shames and back door deals enjoyed by “influencers” on her watch. Unfortunately Lauren and avowed influencer falls victim to our undercover revealer but happily she becomes the wiser for it. True this story strives to be a testament to friendship cemented in shared youthful experience but it is the rise from the truth of how we each accept the loss of youth that gives this story its meat. True there is a side entanglement that blooms fully in the end that will have diehard romantics happy. Enjoy ,

I really didn’t enjoy this book, it was a bit cliche-d and far fetched for me so a little disappointing

A feel good, lighthearted romp! Some parts were hilarious, other parts were too far fetched.. Well worth a read if you want something easy to make you laugh. Easily read in one sitting!
Thank you to Netgalley, Black and White publishing and Caroline and Lisa, for letting me read a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

Entertaining read, despite Ava finding out on the day of her wedding that her fiance is cheating on her.

She runs off and ends up with the chance to reconnect with old friends and her art.

I knew from the opening pages that I was going to absolutely adore this book and it didn't let me down in the slightest. Packed with wit and charm I was whisked away on Ava's journey and devoured the entire book in one sitting. From impending wedding bells to rundown renovations this book had it all in spades and it was a true delight from start to finish.

The writing was warm and witty and had me chuckling into the pages of my book at the turn of every page. I instantly took to the story and found myself reading at the speed of light to soak up the plot and discover if Ava will get her happy ever after. But what a story! I was completely hooked to every word and thoroughly enjoyed my time with the bride squad.

Ava was an instantly likeable character who captivated the story and held the spotlight as any true leading lady can. My heart went out to her on a number of occasions with her tumultuous relationship with The Turner. But in the words of The Bard, 'the course of true love never did run smooth' and one unfaithful groom and a runaway bride can be expected on the road to love?

Bride Squad Runaway is the perfect pick me up read. I was hooked from start to finish and couldn't recommend it enough. A book filled with heart, friendship and female solidarity - what more could you possibly want!

I thought this was a romance when I requested the ARC but it's more about friendship. Also, it's not particularly well-written and the dialogue is not believable.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

I really tried with this book - I stopped and started a couple times, thinking maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind. The dialogue was so stilted, with monologue-style discussions and what was seemed like it was supposed to be banter. I never got to the point.

Bride Squad Runaway is not your typical romance novel. It is a book about life, friendship and relationships. This book let us think about what do we actually have, if the person, we have built our whole life around, is not the ONE? It makes us take a step back and reflect on our choices and our priorities. It is not an easy funny read I thought it would be after looking at the cover. But... sometimes we do not need easy... what we need is a healthy dose of reality and time to think.

It was okay. Kinda hard to get into at first. Not my favorite book in a while but not horrible either. Wish there was more roundness to the story. It felt flat and on a single track.

I was so looking forward to this book and by all the hype it was supposed to be sooo funny....it wasn't and I was one disappointed reader. Everything to me was just forced and I mean, the cover catches you, the blurb catches you, but what you get when you're reading DOES NOT catch you in the slightest. I hate to say that about any book but I think I made it to 32 percent and then DNF'd because I have like 335 books on my shelf to read.

I had high hopes for this book and whilst I enjoyed, it wasn’t quite what I had expected. A light fun read.

It's summer and at this time of year I really like light books that you can just enjoy and not have to think too much about. The ones that are good at the pool, or the beach. This books fits that category. Set in Ireland, a place I just visited so even more fun to read and be able to picture places I was while I was there I enjoyed the book. It is a light summer novel, so don't go in expecting twists and turns, but there are likable characters and some fun adventures. What I liked best about it was the friendships of the three women. They were friends, although never really super close, each has their own relationship with Ava, but not necessarily with each other, but through the adventures they end up in, we discover that what they have thought about each other isn't necessarily the reality of what things are like. How Ava could have put up with her fiance as long as she did I don't understand but the rest of if is a nice girl bonding, fun read. There is some predictability to them, but that's what makes is a pool side read and there is nothing wrong with that.
