This is a sweet story about taking a chance and putting yourself out there. I wasn’t ready for it to end. I love libraries and Lacy is a great librarian. Paris has an interesting story to tell. Sometimes computers and older folks don’t jive, but this bunch was having no trouble. I wonder what trouble they will get in when they get their skills up to par! I loved all the characters in this book. I hope to meet up with them again. I received this book from NetGalley, but my opinion is my own.

I'm so happy that I started reading Annie Rains' Sweetwater Springs series. I really have been enjoying it. I truly love when authors add novella's to tide us over till their next mass-market book comes out. It makes the wait much more bearable.

I've been waiting for Paris's story since he first walked into the series. He's one of those characters that draws you to them and you want to know more about them. I kinda wish his story wasn't so short but I'm happy that the author did a wonderful job of it.

I might have wanted more, but didn't feel like I missed out on anything.

Paris comes over as this super-tough guys that you might think twice about talking too. Turns out he's a sweetie at heart. One that gets talked into teaching a computer class he didn't want to teach. In so many ways his back story is sad but it also made him the man he is today. With the help of some certain people.

I totally love Lacy. I felt for her. Feeling like you don't matter or aren't as good as others because you were picked on as a child is tough. She is a wonderful person who deserves all the happiness in the world. She also needs a tough, sexy guy to make sure she never gets picked on again.

These two just work! I love how they act together and I'm glad that Paris took a leap of faith and went with his heart even when I was, let's face it, scared. I'm so glad that I read Kiss Me in Sweetwater Springs. Now all I can't wait to read the next book in the series, Snowfall on Cedar Trail which is out on 10/8/19. You have enough time to start reading this series and getting caught up.

Le sigh... I love getting back to Sweetwater Springs - though I have terrible bookzheimer's and the only character I remembered in this one from the previous books was Dawanda the fudge shop owner (this probably says more about my sweet tooth than anything else!)

Paris and Lacy's story is sweet and funny and lovely and I just wanted more of this story.

It is a complete opposites attract, with the shy librarian and the unattainable bad boy with a heart of gold.

I couldn't help but want, no need these lovelies to get together.

This was a wonderful addition to the Sweetwater Springs series, and I can't wait to see what Ms Rains brings us next.

I always wonder how authors decide which stories should be short stories and which full novels. I feel like this story had so much more to it than what was able to be included in a short story. I enjoyed following Lacy and Paris as they came out of their respective shells, but getting past their hangups just happened too quickly. I would have loved to see more of their romance and Paris' reconnection with his former foster parents. This is the first book in the series I have read, so it is possible there was more about these characters in previous books. It did its job of getting me interested in reading the next book in the series. Overall, this is a really great story with well developed characters. The writing is engaging and makes it easy to get lost in the story.

This title was a super cute glimpse at a couple of side characters in the small town of Sweetwater Springs. Paris was always a stand out side character, and I love that he gets a romance with a librarian. I honestly wish this had been a full length novel. I could have easily read much mors about these 2 people!

👥 Sweet gem of a short romance😘

A short, happy interlude of a story that brightened my day. The small-town characters are kind and concerned and Lacy and Paris, the librarian and the computer expert, are deserving of a partner and sweet romance in their lives. It's story is short and not too deep, but does touch on the ravages of mental changes for seniors and the prospect of going it alone when your partner can no longer cope at home. The minimal angst and hopeful ending are just what the decompression expert ordered to mellow out after a stressful day.

I read a complimentary advance copy provided through NetGalley; this is my voluntary and honest review

Loved it, wished it was a little longer. What happened when he went to see Mrs. Jensen? Did they end up together? How did his relationship with Mr. Jenson end up? So many questions, I hope to see them in further stories.

I was so MAD to see this book end. I absolutely LOVED it. I loved are quick the author grabs your attention and keeps your attention from beginning to the end. I really found Lacy's story so sweet and how big of a heart she had for not just her family but those who came into her library they all seemed important to her. Paris has a "wall" up but not so high that just the right person couldn't reach his heart. This book was seriously one of the sweetest read and probably one of my favorite reads in a while. You really can't go wrong with this fun read.

Sweetwater Springs. Have you heard of it? Well, it's a sweet and magical place with amazing people, the best coffee reading from Tawanda, and a place for you will most likely fall in love.

I loved everything about Kiss Me in Sweetwater Springs. Annie Rains is becoming one of my favorite authors because of this series. It was a beautiful opposites-attract love story.

This short story follows Lacy and Paris. Lacy works at the local library. She hires a computer teacher to teach the older and wiser people in the community the basic functions of working a computer/laptop and using the internet. When Paris walks into the library on his first day, Lacy can't stop staring at him. He is fit, attractive, and she has no idea who she is. They don't necessarily get off on the right foot, but it left room for improvement.

Lacy doesn't want to be in a relationship, but everyone else in Sweetwater Springs feels differently. Members of her community persuade her into creating an online dating profile. Paris sees it and realizes he is more interested than he let on.

Lacy and Paris start getting closer and things escalate pretty quickly. In the midst of their whirlwind romance, Paris agrees to be Lacy's date to her high school reunion. I loved that he gave her the confidence to attend even when she planned on not going because she didn't have the best high school experience.

This was an all-around short, sweet, and unexpected romance that will sweep you off your feet. I give Kiss Me In Sweetwater Springs 5 stars!!

Thanks to Netgalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) Forever Yours for the ARC in exchange of an honest review.
Cute little love story. Would have liked it to be longer, but I realize it was a short story although I didn't realize that when I requested it.

Favorite Quotes:

Greta Merchant used a cane, but he knew she walked just fine. The cane was for show, and Paris had seen her beat it against someone’s foot a couple of times.

The nickname had just rolled off his tongue, but it fit. Lace was delicate and beautiful, accentuated by holes that one might think made it more fragile. It was strong, just like the woman sitting next to him.

My Review:

Annie Rains has penned an enjoyable, pleasantly satisfying, and sweet story featuring two lonely yet kind and endearing characters living in a small town; one a reserved librarian who lived on Pine Cone Lane, and the other a computer whiz/graphic artist/tattooed biker who was handsome enough to have all the ladies salivating whether they were young or old, married or single. The storylines were sweet and heartfelt with both main characters having experienced painful histories of disappointments and insecurities in their childhoods that continued to haunt them yet each was endeavoring to overcome. The premise was relevant and tender, the writing was easy to follow and engaging, and the small-town characters were amusingly delineated.

A cute novella that probably should not be read as an introduction to the Sweetwater Springs series, as it didn't give you the feel of the small town charm one expects with these kinds of books. Also, the romance was too insta-love for me, but again, that's probably due to the fact this was not a full length novel. I think it should have been because the characters were interesting and I would have liked to see Paris and Lacy's relationship fleshed out more. However, this novella definitely made me want to read more from this author and recommend her books to patrons who love lighthearted romance with small town flavor.

Welcome back to Sweetwater Springs with all its wonderful characters. Lacy Shaw is the towns librarian. She likes to blend in so that she doesn't stand out. She is the good girl. Paris Montgomery is a graphic designer who hasn't decided to settle down. He rides a motorcycle. From the moment they meet in the library, all bets are off. You will laugh and smile

In this sweet short story, Lacy is Sweetwater’s well-liked librarian. She tends to be a loner as she was bullied throughout her childhood due to a physical disability that has since been corrected. While she would like to have a family someday, she isn’t in a rush.

Paris lived in Sweetwater for a time while in foster care as a child. He remembers Sweetwater as they place where he felt the most loved and happiest. He reached out to his foster parents after returning to Sweetwater following a divorce, but his foster mother turned him away. Despite that hurt, he stayed in Sweetwater and built a life for himself as a freelance graphic designer. He was determined to steer clear of relationships, believing that they only end in pain.

Paris and Lacy meet when he teaches a computer class at the library where Lacy works. They become friends, but also realize that they have chemistry. They start to date a little, but Paris decides to take a step back, believing that any relationship they would have would end badly.

Can the girl who was bullied as a child and a child raised in foster care learn to trust each other enough to find love and happiness?
