Kiss Me in Sweetwater Springs is another romance story in this series. The characters are interesting and you'll learn their history. An enjoyable read

Kiss Me in Sweetwater Springs. This story is so sweet, Lacy being the quiet, reserved type and Paris a little rough and tumble. Loved that facts the Paris and Mr Jensen reunited! Sometimes once you lose something it's so hard to put your heart out there again. You have to dig deep inside of yourself and realize you can and will have a chance for true life and happiness! #AnnieRains

A short, simple but lovely romance. Two lonely people find out how much they need each other.

So sweet. I loved the characters (even Mr. Jensen) and the storyline. It was a short story that I wouldn't have minded lasting longer. I have liked every book I've read of Annie Rains. Hopefully another will come out soon

This was such a fun, sweet book. So much happened in such a short number of pages, but it doesn't feel rushed, choppy, or awkward. So many characters are introduced, but in such a way that they all make sense and it's easy to keep them all straight.

Lacy and Paris are such perfect characters for this story. Lacy is fun and confident, but still has room to grow as a character and learn something about herself with Paris' help. It's great to see Paris again, since he was a fun addition to the first book in this series. It was great to see how his back story came into play here and learn more about him and what motivates him. He works so well with Lacy and the other characters scattered throughout the book, they all really bring out great aspects in him.

Overall this is a fantastic story and I enjoyed every minute of it. I'm especially glad the ending felt genuine and realistic, and wasn't some super far-fetched version of a HEA. You like how it ends to Lacy and Paris, but you're just as happy that there's still so much open and available to them.

Kiss Me in Sweetwater Springs was a sweet and easygoing read. The writing drew me in and the story and characters had that loveable small-town charm.

The story was fast paced and the romance bloomed quickly between Paris and Lacy, so the deep emotional connection between them wasn't really there, but for a short story/novella it was still a cute and satisfying pairing. I loved the overall light feel of the story, and the setting felt like it was really brought to life.

If you're short on time and need a fast read you can finish in less than an hour, check out Kiss Me in Sweetwater Springs. If you've got more time and haven't already read and enjoyed the full-length novels in the Sweetwater Springs series, I'd recommend reading them too!

I absolutely adore this series by Annie Rains, and am glad to revisit my favourite town to see what’s been happening. I loved Paris from the minute he was introduced in the first book and I especially loved Lacy, as a librarian myself it was good to see one get a starring role. Opposites attract in this sweet novella and I’m impatiently waiting for the next book

A novella that encompasses so much!
A sweet, clean read with some very tough and emotional pasts for both Lacey and Paris that very much affected them, tho in different ways . A journey of two very opposite characters who find and bring out the best in each other.
The setting in Sweetwater Springs is so perfectly small town, and of course there are the busybodies just wanting to help lol.
A super short, but meaningful read with an HEA that will have you sighing. Part of a wonderful series, but can stand alone.
I received an advance reader's copy and am giving my honest opinions freely.

This was a lovely story of a librarian who was bullied in high school and lacks self-confidence as a result. It is also the story of a young man who grew up “rough”, moving from foster home to foster home and living with parents who did not act responsibly. Lacy loves her job as a librarian and Paris thoroughly enjoys his as a graphic designer. Neither is looking for any kind of relationship, but the way their relationship develops is the crux of the story. There are some interesting characters in this novella that were in previous Sweetwater Springs novels, but this wonderful little story can also stand on its own. My favorite recurring character is Dawanda, the lady from the bakery who serves cappuccino and “reads” your future after you enjoy your drink. A new character was introduced, Mr. Jepson. With a hurting heart and loss of hope, Mr. Jepson is grumpy and rude towards everyone. I really enjoyed reading the development of his character and how he ended up opening his heart. This is a story that you can read and enjoy in one day. If you haven’t read Annie Rains’s books before, this is a great one to start with because it gives you the flavor of how she writes...with love flowing from every page! Readers of romance will definitely want to read this little treasure!

A short and sweet addition to the Sweetwater Springs series from Annie Rains!

Lacy is the shy town librarian and Paris is a graphic designer who has agreed to teach a computer class for seniors. They each had experiences that have made connecting with others and having relationships difficult.

I liked how Paris brought Lacy out of her shell and wanted her to have new experiences and Lacy helped Paris with connecting with the town and people from his past.

This novella is a quick read and makes me wish the book was longer but it definitely gives Lacy and Paris a nice story and HEA.

Where has the Sweetwater Springs series been all my life? Such a sweet, cute book. Perfect beach read. I read this short story quickly in the afternoon at the pool.

Paris and Lacy both have difficult childhoods. Paris’s parents were felons and he spent his childhood in foster care. Lacy had scoliosis as a child and spent a lot of time in a brace- cue the mean girls song. Girls tormented her and growing up was not easy for her either.

Paris is now the tattooed biker and Lacy the shy, quiet librarian. They meet in the library where Lacy works when she steps up to teach a class.
Sparks sizzle then fly. Can these two make a future together?

This is the first Sweetwater Springs books I've read and I see I've been missing out!
Despite their differences opposites really do attract!
Paris is a tattooed motorcycle riding outgoing guy.
Lacy is the shy girl, the mean girls in high school picked on because she had scoliosis and wore a brace. She still prefers others being the life of the party, as she watches from the sidelines which is perfect for this librarian.
Very sweet romance. Novella length with a very nice hometown feel. This author is now on my radar and I'd love to read more by her.
Expected publication: August 6th 2019 by Forever Yours.

I was given a complimentary copy of this book. Thank you.

4.5 - "There’s nowhere else I’d rather be…" Stars!

Sweetwater Springs is quickly becoming one of my favourite places to visit. Annie has once again delivered a charming and heart-warming read with Paris and Lacy’s story, and after initially meeting Paris in the first book of the series I was really happy ot finally get my hands on his story, I just wish it had been longer!

"Opposites attract is a real thing…"

Lacy and Paris initially meet at the library where she works, and where she has employed him to teach a computing for senior’s class. At first glance you wouldn’t necessarily put the quiet librarian with the tattooed biker but as they begin to spend more time together it quickly becomes apparent that they have chemistry and the attraction is mutual.

"No more sitting on the side lines."

Still waters run deep with this pair, and as they get to know each other you as the reader get to know more about them as well, and as a pair they fit together perfectly.

Easy going, and an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours, it was also a great little check in to keep my appetite whetted for when Snowfall on Cedar Trail releases in October, Halona and Alex’s story, which I am soooo looking forward too!

Kiss Me in Sweetwater Springs
Annie Rains
August 6, 2019

Annie Rains gives us a continuation of her Sweetwater Springs series in her latest novella, Kiss Me in Sweetwater Springs. Lacy Shaw is the librarian in the Sweetwater Springs Library. It is a job she loves. Helping people find the right books to read or information needed for school is what she set out to do when she entered college. All through high school however she was bullied and made fun of because of the necessity to wear a back brace to straighten her spine. She was a bookworm and a good student as well, so others felt the need to make fun of her. Once she came back to Sweetwater she was shy but had grown out of her shell.
The day that Paris Montgomery walked into the library changed everything for her. He was the volunteer she had found to teach the seniors computer skills. She had called several folks to manage the program but none had the time or the interest. Paris owned his business and felt he could donate a day per week to help out. Lacy did not expect that the extremely good looking man that stepped up to her library desk that day, would be the program’s teacher. She certainly could never have dreamed that he would be the man to open her heart to love.
This is a wonderful short story that brings us more in touch with Sweetwater Springs. The characters are as colorful as those that readers have followed throughout the series. It was truly a great afternoon read. Readers of Annie Rains novels will find this a pleasant, relaxing journey in the tale of Lacy and Paris. Kiss Me in Sweetwater Springs is due to be published August 6, 2019 by Forever Yours Publishing of New York and Boston. This is an Annie Rains selection you won’t want to miss.

This was such a wonderful addition to the Sweetwater Springs series! Paris and Lacy's story was short and sweet and it made me smile a lot and cry a little especially near the end. I was curious about Paris after reading the first book in this series so when I heard about this short story I couldn't wait to read it! What I love about Annie Rains is her ability to make me feel what each of her characters are going through. I can't wait to read more about Paris and Lacy in her future books but then again I'm always anxiously awaiting more of this fabulous series!
