Her twin siblings have been kidnapped. The ransom is a ship called The Seeker. She’s not a real pirate. But their lives depend on her playing the part.
This was a fun read. I’d never read this author before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I enjoyed it and I look forward to reading more from this author.

Delightful! Well Developed characters, lots of adventure, fun and laughter
If You Give a Pirate a Treasure by Chloe Flowers is a delightful read. It has lots of adventure, family struggles and joy, revenge and misunderstandings. The characters are well developed and draw out your emotions. If you are in the mood for fun, laughter, and delight; this is the book for your next read.

Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This unfortunately was not as good as the authors other books. Stevie and her family hold Captain Colans ship captive but through several chaotic attempts of uprising, the captain joins forces with his captors and fights to regain his ship from an evil pirate. Stevie is portrayed as both emotional and yet brave which was confusing and contradictory. I was not fond of her character who gave it up way too easily to the captain who was captivated by her vulnerable and childlike naivety. Wasn't impressed by the storyline and the chaotic plot.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Kind of a hate to love book as Stevie and her family take Conal's ship when they are in port and most of the crew has gone off to celebrate onshore. After Conal finds out why they are taking over his ship, he understands and even makes an "accord" with Stevie to help them.

The pirate that you just want to hate seems so nice sometimes so I loved that I could not really hate Gampo and yes there are enough clues that you know the two families that are attacking each other just need to talk!!

Lots of action and romance as they sail to Jamaica to rescue the two younger family members and encounter problems along the way. The stages sick ship was so hilarious and also stressful as you worry if they will escape the English sailors.

Loved the HEA and wrap up and hoping that we see a HEA for Gampo in another books!

The Sauvage family had found a lot of old letters from a famous pirate leading them to her treasures. famous pirate. Stevie Sauvage and her family are desperate to get back her twin eight year old siblings who were ta
ken by a villinous pirate name Gampo. He demands they bring him a ship in order for him to release the twins and leaves them with one of his men to make the journey to Jamaica.
There is nothing like a story involving pirates on the high seas, although Stevie was not really a pirate herself. But she took the lead when they boarded and took over a ship. Captain Conal O'Brien never expected his ship to be taken over by a group of people who try to appear as pirates, but it is apparent they are not. Held at gunpoint by a lad pointing a pistol at him he soon realizes it is a woman.
A fun story filled with everything needed to hold my attention until the last page. Hidden treasure, a sigh worthy Captain, romance and twist and turns that happen on their journey. An amazing cast of characters created by the author and at the beginning of each chapter one of the letters they found.
Would definitely recommend this one!!

If You Give a Pirate a Treasure is piratical good fun!

We get to meet a good ol' New Orleans family reunite to their pirating roots as they discover letters from their great grandmother Anne Bonny after an unfortunate house fire. The family sets out to find a treasure hinted about in their great grandmother's letters to her father during her time at sea. The family gets caught up by a warring faction of Captains and Privateers in the Carribean ocean.

I love all things pirate and especially any mention of Anne Bonny. There is a treasure hunt and even some time for some... romance.

The chemistry between Captain Conal O’Brien and Stevie Sauvage is fun and believable. I wouldn't say they were forced or too rushed (as can sometimes be the case). I really enjoyed the family connections and the side characters stories and interactions.

I absolutely enjoyed this book and look forward to more installments!

Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and publisher for this generously provided ARC!

Stevie Sauvage comes across Captain Conal O’Brien whilst he is bathing in anticipation of attending his sister’s wedding. She is disguised as a man whilst shakily pointing a pistol at him hoping he won’t realise how inexperienced is really is. Her family have been forced to seize his ship in order to save their twin siblings who have been taken for ransom by pirate Captain Gambo. Here starts an entertaining and riveting adventure. I love the intricate characters and how their storylines fitted together so beautifully. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

4.5 Stars
Captain Conal O’Brien’s Seeker has just been overrun by the most unlikely band of pirates to sail the seas. When he discovers that they work for his sworn enemy Captain Gampo, he develops a scheme of his own. But these brigands aren’t who they seem to be, and if Conal’s not careful, he’s going to lose his heart as well as his ship to a lady pirate determined to possess both.
She’s not a real pirate, but if she’s going to save her eight year old twin siblings Jacqueline & Julien, she’d better act the part. Stevie Sauvage is on a quest to find a hidden family treasure after their home & business in New Orleans burnt to the ground.
Pirates, hidden treasure, misunderstandings & romance just what I love in a book & this book has them all. A well paced story that at times had me on the edge of my seat. The characters had depth & whilst I really liked Conal & Stevie it was the twins especially Jacqueline who were the stars of the book & how they wrapped Drago round their little fingers was a delight. I also loved that characters from earlier books made an appearance. This book could be read on its own but the whole series is really good
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

I really wanted to love this novel. But, it just didn't connect with me. The story dragged in parts. I found myself skipping pages at a time. I felt like Conal developed an accent halfway through and he became a weak secondary character by the end.
