I love how user friendly these recipes are! They are simple to make but can also like the cookbook is for be easy to meal prep. For someone who has never meal prepped before I can easily see myself making quite a few of these recipes in the future for not only myself but family and friends and could see myself starting to meal prep especially when I'm in school or don't feel like really doing much cooking I could just grab something that I prepped and have lunch or dinner easily accessible along with saving money even more when it comes to grocery shopping and fast food.

Enjoyed it and cant wait to try more of the recipes! I was a bit skeptical but Steph and Adam have actually broken down well known dishes into recipes that are simple with clean ingredients. Peanut butter cups and Almond Joys! I cant wait. I liked their prep day planners and even shopping lists. True not all the dishes look appetizing and Im a bit confused about the salted caramel oatmeal - there is no caramel in it and dates just arent enough. Some of the dishes I did make actually tasted pretty bad but then there were some winners, so for me overall this book was a win. Would have liked to see a bit more recipes and with more pictures. Definitely a book to get even if you arent totally plant based but just want simple healthy ingredients and meal ideas.

This is a great intro to Plant Based eating for beginners. I enjoyed the use of easy, recognizable ingredients.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

Plant Based Meal Prep by Stephanie Tornatore and Adam Bannon is an easy to use guide with lots of recipes and meal plans. It makes it easy to add new recipes that are plant based. Since I struggle to come up with new, balanced and nutritious meals, it was a real help.

I have been looking for easy ways to eat a healthier diet including more plant based meals. This book really helped to give me ideas on options, and realize that it wasn't as hard as I was making it in my mind. The photos in the book are beautiful and inspiring. The recipes are down to earth, and I had ingredients in my pantry that covered me for a lot of options.
The meal prep ideas were also so helpful. By making things ahead, I found that I was eating better, and taking things to work that I had prepared rather than eating out of the vending machines. Huge win! I suggest this book to anyone that is looking for meal prep ideas and now is the perfect time to eat more plant based meals, and the authors make that very possible no matter what your cooking level is!

I got this book to look at with my brother who has become a vegetarian. We really enjoyed it! The book is well written, the recipes are clear and very easy, and the pictures look amazing! Pictures are always the best part of a cookbook because it makes you want to try out the recipe! I will be making some of this stuff for myself and my brother has been enjoying trying out recipes for himself.

Wasn't what I was looking for or wanted. Recipes were interesting, but I found kind of hard to use separately with the way they are laid out int he book. Meal prepping is a big thing, but not for me or my library community. I wouldn't see ordering or suggesting this book to anyone not looking for explicit meal planning help.

Plant-based meal Prep is a wonderful book for people who consume plant-based meals or planning to start a plant-based journey. Plant-based is a little different from Vegan. The authors have explained the difference between the two pretty well.

This book is so basic and I am thankful to the authors for it because it can be a great guide for a person who has never stepped into the kitchen and has minimum exposure. The authors have mentioned the list of all the essential types of equipment required and stocking the pantry.

The authors Stephanie and Adam have listed the benefits of going plant-based and also the process of going plant-based. Many of us think of going plant-based but we all are not very sure about how to go about it. I think describing this process is very important since it makes our job easy and removes all the confusion.

This book focuses on the meal prep which is very important for all us and they have provided many options. They have also taken care of if a person is prone to any allergies. I am quite impressed by this approach.

This book has so many recipe options including sauces and dressings, breakfast, soups and salads, main dishes and even desserts.

This is very encouraging and promising for those who are opting plant-based lifestyle.

I enjoyed this cookbook. It starts by explaining how to go plant-based, stocking your pantry, and tips for prepping meals. The prep plans include comprehensive instructions and grocery lists. The recipes are very practical and include beautiful photos. The graphics in the book are gorgeous, as well. This would be a great book for people starting plant-based because of the level of explanation and approachable recipes.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the advance review copy.

This is a colorful, well done plant-based cookbook that focuses on make-ahead recipes and meal prep while still relying on fresh, whole foods for the recipes. I love that it's both vegan and gluten free, but GF in a healthy way with a focus on ingredients like almond flour instead of processed starches and nutritionally lacking flours like white rice flour. It uses icons to show which recipes are also paleo, soy free and so on. I also really like the focus on healthy recipes and lower sugar while still caring that recipes are tasty. Nutritional information is provided for each recipe, another great feature. Recipes are pretty easy and the ingredients are pretty standard (think almond flour, beans, quinoa, fresh vegetables, cashews, coconut oil and hearts of palm). The authors (a husband and wife team) are friendly and likeable, and it's very cool that they each have their own recipes that reflect their personal styles and tastes. They also provide recipes for plant-based, whole foods alternatives to sour cream, parmesan, etc. The desserts look particularly decadent while still focusing on being real foods and lower in sugar.

I do wish there were more photos. There are great color pictures of about 1/4 of the recipes and I really like a photo of every recipe. That said, this is a clever cook book that is likely to please a lot of folks.

I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for the purpose of review.

Love having easy recipes to have healthy, meat-free lunches. Recommended to libraries looking to keep on popular food trends.

This ok is one that I think has. Good idea, but I did not find myself engaged into any of the recipes. I guess I was thinking it would be something different than it was. I haven’t tried any of the recipes. Either.

I love how simplistic this cookbook is. The recipes include everything that I already have on hand. I like a cookbook that includes a shopping list and detailed instructions. I’ll admit I’m not the best cook, but these recipes are easy enough that even I won’t fail. Also, big plus for me are the pictures. I am not familiar with the authors so I will be checking out their YouTube channel.

While I haven't completely embraced the plant-based lifestyle, I'm more of a flexitarian, I have added some cookbooks like this to my shelf.

What I like best about this is the way the authors set it up, making it easy to prepare food in advance and then all that is left to do on the day you want to eat that meal is reheat it . As busy as my life is, I am drawn to this way of life.

The authors aren't adding any off-the-wall food choices that can only be found in big cities or ordered through the mail that I noticed. That is always a plus for me, as I don't appreciate searching for weird things.

Overall, I think this is a nice addition to any cookbook shelf .

Have you ever tried one of those meal kits that are delivered to your doorstop? I tried one or two, but they really don't cater to my style of eating, with is plant-based with a tiny bit of dairy. This book reminds me of the meal cards that come with those kits, but it's so much better with this book!

This book makes heating healthy and on a plant-based diet easy! The shopping lists and action plans are perfect! And one of the best things are your actually planning out your week to give you more time each day. Did I mention saving money too? Yes! The book provides tips and ways to save on your food budget.

I like the style, layout, the colors, and with two authors that have different approaches to the meals provided. So much variety! It's hard to find anything that needs to be improved with this book. I heartily recommend this book!

Nice selection and that they have paired meals to prep together. Sauces, salads and dishes to make ahead for the week. Action plans and tips to help with meal planning added in. Nice for those who want to meal prep ahead of time that are plant based.

Plant-Based Meal Prep is such a helpful cookbook. One of the difficult things when looking at plant-based meals is how do you make these meals in advance so that you do not need to spend every morning making food before going to work (or relying on salads).

These meals are designed so that you have a well rounded meal and a plan for how to make it. Meal prep is probably the most important thing to make a diet work, otherwise you fall for easy and fast. This book helps you succeed by giving you tasty meals and a plan for making them all.

I would give this a solid 3.5 stars. The meal prep section in the beginning is really helpful. How it never occurred to me to do most all my veggie cleaning and chopping I will never know. duh. But what a huge time saver and a great incentive to make meals during the week as they are then so quick. So a serious 5 stars there. My issue is all the meat and cheese "alternatives" that are used in the recipes. Let's face it - for the most part, they really are just not good and my bigger issue is that I just don't think they are necessary. You can get lots of meaty type flavors and textures by using the right veggie textures and lots of umami type flavors. IMO.

What I really enjoyed about this cookbook (and what I have never seen in a cookbook) is the step-by-step meal prep instructions. Meal prepping is for the individuals who don't like to be in the kitchen long like me. The authors already had the easiest and quickest way to cook your meals. The recipes curated were healthy and guilt free. And I found if I didn't like a meal included in the meal prep, it was easy to omit while still following the instructions. I hope this book sets a trend for meal prep cookbooks.
