Oh, my, I am so not the audience for this book. I know people who are, but not me. I am still clueless as to what exactly bitcoin is, or how one gets it, or how it has any real worth. Sorry. I am very sure there are readers who will relish every word.

Confessions of a Crypto Millionaire - quick review. Bigger once coming soon... this book is an fantastically interesting story of one mans investment in ethereum. We all hear about bitcoin, I never knew anyone made money from ethereum... It is a truly an epic read. I was screaming at him to sell at points in the book... it was a rollercoaster ride....

This book was slow moving in parts but once you got into it it became harder to slowdown. This is perfect if you want learn more about the non-technical side of cryptocurrency. Overall glad I stumbled upon this book.

Conway's tale about how he bet long and hard on Ethereum cryptocurrency and ended up making millions is a classic Silicon Valley tale. He rides the crazy train where the value can gain and lose him millions of dollars in the span of an afternoon. "Crypto was suddenly like an overexposed celebrity, and everyone was rooting for it to fail, he writes near the end of his story, but then realizes, "one of the bittersweet feelings about making a bunch of money is that you can't bring your (less fortunate) friends with you." He takes funds out of his home equity loan, money he can't really afford to lose. Along the way, he is committed to Ethereum because of its disruptive ability to change the way companies operate, the way companies get VC funding (the parts about the ICO shysters is worth reading alone), and the way the early pioneers -- which Conway counts himself in -- had to try to separate the criminals from the legit businesses. Well worth reading, even your own exposure to bitcoin and other cryptocoins is minimal.
