Wonder Woman by Leigh Bardugo was a favorite read. But reading in Comic form added to the enjoyment as I first discovered Wonder Woman as the comic book hero.

This Leigh Bardugo x Wonder Woman mashup is to die for. Bardugo flexed her ability to craft an interesting take on a classic super hero and I enjoyed every minute of it. I give the highest recommendation to this piece of work.

This is a fantastic coming of age story in graphic novel form. I’m glad I read this in graphic novel form rather than novel form, because there’s not much action. If you’re a fan of the DC animated series Young Justice, I think you’ll love this.

WW Warbringer is less a story of Wonder Woman, but a story of a different young girl. This is the graphic adaptation of the Leigh Bardugo junior/middle grade novel of the same name. This DC comic imprint for middle grade is well worth getting in libraries.

A wonderfully illustrated and engagingly written book about Wonder Woman. I found the characters appealing and the storyline entertaining. Good for teens and adults.

I absolutely adored this Wonder Woman graphic novel. It was a good story, well written and beautifully drawn.

Having read the novel by Leigh Bardugo before picking this graphic novel up, I was very excited to check out the illustrations and adaptations of the novel in this and I was not dissapointed.

Okay, what I loved about this was literally the graphics/illustrations. The colors and the artist's use of color help portray and bring Diana/Wonder Woman to life. If you have read the novelization you already know how well Leigh brings Diana to life with words, so to have pictures added to those words was incredible!

Overall, this was a 4 star rating for me though. The reason it was 4 instead of 5 was honestly only because it was the graphic novel and I had read the novelization before I had read the graphic novel. Though I love the illustrations and the text together, I honestly love the story more in the novel form. I am sure anyone who reads this first might think the opposite of me. That is not to say the story telling and illustrations are bad, just that I enjoy the novel more.

The illustrations are top-notch here. I didn't a chance to read the whole book because it expired before I could, but I really like the bit that I saw. It's a good adaptation into graphic novel format, the artist is gifted.

“Wonder Woman: Warbringer” is a graphic novel written by Leigh Bardugo. As a Wonder Woman fan, I did not hesitate to add this book to my TBR pile. The beginning started a bit slow. I debated not even finishing but I pushed through. Thankfully, things picked up. This book is action packed and diverse. Overall, it was ok.

A good adaptation of the book! This story fits so well to the graphic novel format, considering its origins are in the comic world. Leigh Bardugo's masterful storytelling combined with the beautiful artwork worked really well. Perhaps it even should've been a graphic novel from the beginning?

I enjoyed the Wonder Woman novel, so I was intrigued to see how it was adapted to graphic novel. I thought this was a great adaption, and it really gave me a different experience with the story since it was a visual medium now. This is also great for kids who don't want to read all the prose.

A great adaption of the book. It preserved many of the best parts of the Bardugo's book. The art is well done and captures many of the emotions portrayed in the original writing. Diana, Alia, and Jason are well portrayed however, Nim and Theo were downplayed quite a bite. The art did not capture the wonder and awe of the world described in the book but it did capture the mood. The dialogue was transcribed well but there were some clarifying discussions removed in the adaption.

A quick, fun read with a good introduction into the world of Wonder Woman.

So this was really cool, I think one of the reasons it was so hard for me to connect with is I am not a huge graphic novel connoisseur, to be honest this was my first one in many, many years.

I think if you like graphic novels this could be very enjoyable for you.

I loved the novel version, but I absolutely adore the graphic novel also! The graphic novel made the story come alive! The artwork was gorgeous! I loved it so much, I bought the graphic novel at Barnes and Nobles!

I haven't read the original, but I was so entranced by this version that I definitely want to read the original. The artwork was fantastic not to mention the storyline. I have many DC Comics and this was a very different take on Wonder Woman's origin story. I absolutely loved every bit of it. Marie Lu spun a wonderful story.

This graphic novel adaptation of Bardugo's novel was excellent... Loved the illustration style, and will definitely be purchasing and recommending to students.

Based off the book by Leigh Bardugo that came out a couple years ago, it follows Princess Diana/Wonder Woman. If you like Diana, DC comics, or graphic novels you should read this one. It is written well, interesting, has good characters, plot twists, and beautiful art. I can't wait to see what they publish next!

The Wonder Woman: Warbringer graphic novel is the adaptation of Leigh Bardugo’s DC Icons novel. I haven’t read the novel yet, but this appears to be an excellent adaptation.

In Wonder Woman: Warbringer, Diana wants to prove herself to the rest of the Amazons on Themyscira. She’s about to do that in an important race, but then Diana witnesses a ship exploding and rushes to save the human onboard. What she doesn’t know is that in saving Alia, she has brought a Warbringer to the island. To save both her home and Alia, Diana must leave Themyscira and bring Alia to a special spring to end the Warbringer line.

Wonder Woman: Warbringer is an action-packed story. I loved seeing Diana’s first adventure away from Themyscira and the friendship she starts up with Alia. The art itself is beautiful. The darker color tones age up the story for the YA audience and the pop of bright, bold colors add to the action. There was a mix of different types of panels that kept the story moving quickly.

Overall, fans of the DC Icon series will want to check out this adaptation! And if you’re like me and haven’t read the book, the graphic novel is a great way to experience the story.
