LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her!!! Laugh out loud book and makes you giggle often. All too relatable to our normal, everyday moms out there. “…relief when you need rescuing…hope in the midst of hardship.” That’s exactly what this book did for me. Helped me laugh my way through hard times and gave me a better grip on reality.

Carolanne Miljavac has to be one of my absolute favorite nonfiction authors, and she doesn't disappoint in this new book. Mrs. Miljvac truly believes that laughter is the best form of medicine. She hasn't had an easy life, but she has strength in spades and helps us to see how we can get through our trials just like she did. She is vulnerable and personable as she shares her life stories, how she has laughed through them, and grown through them. As always Carolanne wants to encourage you in your daily life, in your walk with God, and in learning your identity in Christ. I would recommend every woman read this book. After all, we all need to learn how to laugh at ourselves.

Quick read and pick me ups. Laughed quite a bit while reading this book. Thanks to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my honest review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on this review.

#netgalleyreview #Netgalley #latetothegame #shelaughs #carolannemiljavac we've all seen her on Instagram or maybe Facebook or maybe you've been fortunate enough to see her live. She's the girl that makes us giggle. She wrote her second book. And in this book it's all about #faithoverfear she is relatable. She makes you giggle. You feel like it's you and your best friend just talking ❤️ #bookstagram #booksofinstagram #bookreader #bookreview #mustread #truthbombs #comedy #theresjesuspeople #adoreher #bemybestfriemd 😂

If you're someone (especially a mom) who has spent any time on social media at all, you've probably watched a couple of CA Milijavac's hilarious videos. She Laughs: Choosing Faith over Fear is just as relatable.

This light-hearted book will keep you laughing while still carrying a much-needed message. Anxiety and fear of the future is something that so many of us struggle with. Carolanne reminds us that having anxiety doesn't mean we aren't trusting Jesus; it just means we live in a fallen world.

She Laughs is a book I'll be recommending to my friends and coming back to read again.

*I received a copy of She Laughs through the publisher and Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book was amazing. I love how Caroline takes us on her journey, her struggles, her fears and how she overcame and the love God has for us through it all.

It was inspiring to say the least. I felt a little less like I"m doing this life alone and feeling like all the struggles I have are unknown to others. I felt more shored up and encouraged. I can't wait to buy more copies for my friends.

Totally worth reading!

For some reason. the formatting of this NetGalley copy was all over the place and I had a difficult time reading it. But what I could read seemed to be funny, personal stories that the author used to make a point and encourage her readers. I’ll grab a print copy of this book so that I can do a much better review a little later on the book.

A uniquely written book, written by women who have gone through certain issues during their daily lives. The stories are funny, interesting and at times embarrassing which can also be similar to my own life stories. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to laugh. Each story has bible verses and thought provoking questions to reflect on what you have read and how any changes can be made to improve your day or life. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing, Inc. through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

What an absolute joy it was to read She Laughs : Choosing Faith over Fear. Rather than a regular Bible study on female characters or putting herself in the center of attention, Carolanne Miljavac is writing in a very relatable way, yet sharing some of her lessons she has taken the hard way when it comes to Christian faith in action. Who doesn't want to be in control, struggles with fears and uncertainties, and has a tough time forgiving what others, especially loved ones, did to you? Which other Christian author wrote phrases like: "If you don't know what your husband's pee smells like, are you even married?" And did you ever hear a Christian sister testify  to have to cut her sports bra off with scissors, after being strapped. Nope, Carolanne is not your average marriage counsellor.

Without referencing to Sarah in particular, she laughs, despite fears and longing for material things, expects her salvation and help from the Lord, God Almighty. To laugh keeps to humble, honest, and transparent on all human things, stupid situations, and bizarre encounters in daily life on our quest to peace and love.

This book hooked me right from the start!

This is not your typical self help book. It's packed with a bunch of personal stories from the author that is not only relatable but hillarious. Seriously! I have never laugh so hard reading a self help book. I devoured this book and enjoyed every minute of it. I've been recommending this book like crazy!

I am reviewing a copy of She Laughs Choosing Faith Over Fear through Barbour Publishing and Netgalley:

She laughs in the face of poverty, brokenness, grief, despair Disaster. Hopeless Situations. Life’s Struggles. And this book reminds us that we can laugh in the face of these things too!

In this book Carolanne Milijavac is on a journey of joy.

Carolanne believes with all her heart laughter is a gift, that it can provide a little bit of distraction from whatever it is you might be facing. It offers relief from the pain you might be suffering.

Despite having a life dotted with disaster, she found strength and the courage to go on in laughter. She found the courage to persevere and joy for the journey. In this book Carolanne will help you see how laughter can help you through your own painful circumstances.

I give She Laughs Choosing Faith Over Fear five out of five stars!

Happy Reading!

The beginning hooked me and like a catfish nabbing a tasty worm I didn’t want to let go. Her words jumped off the page and would quickly become my “She Laughs” diet because I love this book more than chocolate.

Carolanne discusses the many ways the devil can attempt to take our joy from us. From humiliation, to sorrow, fear, and anxiety, she shares life experiences with her comedian wit to help us see how to use laughter to recover more quickly.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story about a time she and her husband had a major tiff over something small. Marriage is often like that! Her reactions made me smile a lot.

Hearing her perspective on motherhood was also liberating.

She is very open and real about her life. We see laughter is not a cure all but is effective for banishing fear! Somethings take time and outside help.

I related to Carolanne Miljavac’s experiences and emotional responses! I’m sure all moms have reacted in an undignified way a time or two over certain ‘accidents’. Feelings of loneliness or just not fitting in are more commonly felt by women, I’ve observed, than we realize. We often feel like we are in the throws alone and no one understands. Yet as Carolanne reminds us in She Laughs, God cares deeply about our trials, large and small. He understands!

I laughed and cried as I read her book. It was very healing!

I hope you read She Laughs: Choosing Faith over Fear! I think you are going to like it.

Carolanne Miljavac has blown me away *again* with another fabulous book! I read an advanced copy back in November, but with the craziness of moving, I am just now able to get back to posting. Carolanne has a way of writing that strikes the heart (in a good way!). As I read through the book, I truly felt as if God was going to use this book in ways we cannot even imagine. I needed it at this point in my life when we’ve been faced with uncertainty about our future, and I’m sure if you don’t need it today, you will at some point in the future! As a side note - another way I know God is in it? We are going through a major move (1,000 miles) to do a church plant. It has been scary to say the least! When I walked into the bathroom at the new church, what did the previous occupants have on the wall? Proverbs 31:25! So, here I am taking pictures of bathroom walls. 😁 Thank you, Carolanne, for writing this book!

She Laughs is a quick read that helps the reader see how the author chooses joy in her life. I have a friend who faves health issues and I often take her 2 hours to her specialist. We talk of the stories in this book and like the autho find things to laugh about. This book will change your perspective and bring you to a place of joy.

Funny, encouraging read of the author's experiences. Only ten short chapters, this is a quick read. This would be a great gift for a friend who is facing a lot of struggles, as the author has had her share and yet still can laugh. Miljavac is a popular Facebook blogger and brings her trademark humor to this read.

I was an early reader, thanks to #Netgalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.

She Laughs by Carolanne Miljavac was such a fun, uplifting way to start 2020. If you are a fan of Carolanne on social media this book will not disappoint and gives a little insight into how she has used laughter from an early age to press through some of the most difficult times in her life along with her faith to help propel her forward. I thought the book continues to add a layer of vulnerability and authenticity to her social media platforms that will make you enjoy her work even more.
