I’d only read the book before this one in the series, but had absolutely loved it. I did hate how it ended on a cliffhanger. This book made up for my disappointment! I loved this one just as much, if not more than the last one. I highly recommend!

Loved this series. A very satisfying way to conclude the series. Very emotional, and very creative.

The Guitar Face is one of my all time guilty pleasures. A couple years ago I was introduced to this series by my goodreads recommendation list. I was all about the rock stars and their groupies back in that reading time. When I first read the Blurb for broken I knew this was a series I needed in my life. And this is how I became an instant fan.... Not only are their sexy as sin rock gods but there's also A ROCK GODDESS!!!

HELL YES! In all of my rock star readings, there has not once been a rock goddess. This was something new to me and something I rather enjoyed. But who doesn't love seeing a woman kill it in a typical all male genre. Henley Hendrix is a character who should be admired for her strength and if you asked me who my favorite fictional female rockstar is... all fingers would be pointed to Henley.

This is a series to be savored. Unless you're like me and have to have your cake and eat it too. I read all five books in the span of two and a half days. Yes, it's really that consuming and that good. If you're a fan of sex, drugs, and rock n' roll in you're romances, this is definitely the series for you.

Now onto the reason why I'm here. To review Make It Rain, the final book in the Guitar Face series by Sasha Marshall. Just a quick warning though, if you haven't yet read the previous four books in the series, I highly recommend you do so. This is not a standalone novel and you will be a tad bit lost to the content.

Without giving too many spoilers away, I have to say, I have been #TeamKipley from the very beginning. Even through Henley's Jagger stages I remember shaking my head and wondering why the hell she isn't with Kip. I mean this guy is EVERYTHING. He has a sense of humor and a kind soul. But don't let that fool you because this man also has a protective streak a mile wide and an ocean deep. Henley and Kip just meshed together so flawlessly. I loved their undeniable chemistry and their back and forth banter. You can't resist falling for these two.

I can't even begin to describe how much this series has touched my heart. I connect with Henley on an emotional level. This girl is all strength and grit on the outside, but beneath the surface and in the midst of all the tragedy that has surrounded her she's just a girl who wants to love and who wants to be loved.

Overall, this is a series I feel everyone needs to experience with an open mind and an open heart. I loved every piece of Henley's story from the pain to the joy, the tears to the smiles. I felt it all.

After the jaw dropping cliff hanger in the previous book I didn't think this book could be more of an emotional roller-coaster but boy was I wrong!
Make it rain starts off so dark and emotional you really get a feel for what they are all going through. Both bands are in such a hard place and Kipley are in a worse place then ever. Seeing the events that unfold will have your head in a spin but in the best possible way! Loved the ending it really was the best possible was to end the series. There were some silly moments but it didn't deter from my enjoyment of the story.
I knew this was going to be one of those books I wanted to read so badly but didn't want to as I didn't want it to be over!
Another fantastic page turner that I didn't want to put down.
The guitar faces series is now one of my favourite rockstar romances and I can't wait to see what Sasha Marshall has in store for us next. Bring it on!

Mind-blowing!!! I’m still not sure if this is the correct adjective to sum up this book because that doesn’t even seem like enough to try to get across to people with one word how amazing this book was. Yes, I have been a huge fan of the Guitar Face series and I am proud to be an advocate to such a fantastic series and that is without limiting it to the rock romance genre. Ms. Marshall is a very special author because she has this ability to take you to such emotional extremes that I haven’t really felt before except maybe over the course of my life so when you get these kinds of staggering feelings that is the culmination of everything that has been put into a series I have to say that I am in awe of Ms. Marshall. What does it tell you about a book when you keep looking to see how much is left and you keep going back to re-reading things just because you don’t want it to end?! Yep, this book is that damn good!!

We have followed Kipley through so much already that you wonder if there is anything left to make you actually “feel” what Kip and Henley have left to give to you. How can you not love Kip with his outrageous personality?! He can love like no other and he has this sense of humor that you would never expect from a character who is the epitome of a rock star. And let’s just say that he is not lacking in the sex department either! Henley is just not the “Guitar Goddess” she is a very strong woman who knows how to play hard, work hard and loves even harder. The strong family and extended family bond can make many feel envious. For those who have followed this series you will love the Caleb and Red storyline which were extraordinary.

Make It Rain had me laughing out loud so hard at times that I wasn’t sure it was possible by reading something in “just a book” so I would re-read it again just to make sure I wasn’t losing it. Nope, I wasn’t…it was that damn funny! The sexual connection was something most can only dream about. But maybe it wasn’t just the sexual connection but the spiritual connection between Henley and Kip that had drawn me into their lives and made me feel voyeuristic.

I feel like I have had emotional whiplash at the end of this book because I don’t think I have went to laughing so hard to outright doing the whole ugly cry thing. In Make It Rain you will see if Kip and Henley are able to make it past all of the obstacles that have been thrown in their way over the years especially after Caleb left them. Is that soulmates thing for real or even enough for that matter? I don’t believe I have ever felt so exhausted after finishing a book because of the journey that I have went on with not only Kipley but with everyone from both bands. With saying that I can’t wait to see what Ms. Marshall is going to give us with the rest of this crew since she has set a great foundation for more spectacular books on everyone else with these hard living and hard rocking people.

I don’t want to come off sounding creepy because I love this author and the Guitar Face series so much but I have never felt such a connection as I do with Ms. Marshall’s work. Ok, I’m done fangirling now and would rate this book/series as the best I have read! Do yourself a favor and start with Guitar Face and read the whole damn series…you will not be disappointed.
