This book would be helpful as a reference for someone writing an essay about the keto diet, nutrition, or different dietary approaches. It's very accessible and easy to understand. For someone looking to embark on the keto diet, having 8 weeks of plans is really helpful, allowing them to build their keto habits so they can maintain the diet going forward.

This meal prep book was exactly what I was looking for. I meal prep often and needed some new recipes. This book was set up perfectly with a shopping list and recipes for each week. A portion size photo is included for each meal.

This book is perfect for the first time meal proper. I detailed explanation is given on storage and organization.

I received this galley from NetGalley.

What a beautiful cookbook! I love how this is a keto cookbook, but it also looks at the meal prep side of cookbooks. It gives carbs for the keto side and gives fridge/freezer storage length for the meal prep side. The photos are really beautiful and the recipes are so easy to follow.
I can't wait to start cooking these!

Amazing. I've recently been looking into keto, but it seems a bit overwhelming. This book, however, makes it seem so easy and tasty! Day provides the essential basics of keto up front and then does all the groundwork for creating meal plans so you know what to get at the grocery store, as well as how to prep, store, and reheat recipes. The plans cover 6 days--same breakfast each day, and a mix of three recipes that alternate between lunch and dinner. Day even offers a few extra recipes each week for you to choose from, plus snack and sweet options. You can clearly see the nutrition facts you need, and recipes often have extra tips about other flavour options or ingredient replacements. This book actually makes me excited to try the keto diet! (I even bought all the groceries for week one -- so now I get to put this into practice!)

Not read - I could not load onto my device. Ceaseless attempts to load onto my tablet did not work. I will try to read it on my laptop, but that is not practical. Please offer this as a kindle download, because the current download does not work for me.

Wow! I am SO impressed by this book! It is super comprehensive and includes detailed shopping lists, highly detailed recipes and eight weeks worth of meal plans. I really appreciate the variety of recipes, especially all the non egg breakfasts. I love the simplicity of the layout as well. I can't wait to use some of these tips and recipes in my new rotation!

I received #EasyKetoMealPrep from #NetGalley for my honest review. Unfortunately I never could get the entire book to download properly. What I was able to read of it is thorough and thoughtfully laid out. The keto diet is explained, information on kitchen tools, and storage are laid out and the recipes are good. Perfect for those new to keto, those trying to get back or stay on track. I will actually be purchasing this book because what I did see looks awesome.

This Meal Prep book is full of some great sounding Keto recipes to keep things new and fresh, along with helpful shopping tips. It also goes over the best ways to store the meals you are preparing ahead of time so that they stay fresh longer. These will all help as I tried to ease my way back into Keto with the new year. The recipe I am probably most looking forward to is the broccoli and cheese soup! 3.5*

*I received this eARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The recipes in this book seem very easy to prepare and easy to follow instructions. The charts were a nice added bonus for a visual aspect. A Lot of these recipes look delicious and I am excited to try them. Meal prepping for the week cuts down on nightly work and makes for grab n go meals out of the fridge.

I was given an ARC from Netgalley in return for my honest review.

I have not started a keto lifestyle yet but have been researching it to begin in the new year. This book is very well put together and gives you all the tools to jumpstart your keto life.
I love how everything is broken down. It is extremely detailed so basically alm you have to do is do it. Once I get started I will definitely be relying on this book to get me going.

I was super excited to receive this netgalley after enjoying Aaron Day's Sweets book so much. This book is a bit of a head scratcher though. It starts off incredibly strong with explaining keto and how to develop a structured approach to starting it. However, you get to the weeklies and it just falls flat. Some of the days have 59 net carbs which isn't in line with the diet at all (I'm hoping this is a typo!). And it seriously lacks variety. I, personally, cannot eat only three meals over the course of an entire week. I appreciate that there are three alternative options provided on the side bar but why not just put those in the schedule and then give the reader the option to repeat one of the meals more than two times?

I do find that the recipes themselves are pretty simple and would work really well for someone's introduction to keto. They're a bit heavy handed on fruit (and vegetables to be honest - there's cauliflower in some form every single days it seems) and lack protein which appear to often take a backseat when protein should be the star of the show. The desserts often suffer from my biggest pet peeve - using coconut products where they have no business being. But anyone transitioning from the SAD will likely find these recipes will help them ease into it.

I'm torn on this one... it has SO much potential but it just doesn't deliver for me.

Easy Keto Meal Prep is a new cookbook, tutorial, and recipe collection by Aaron Day. Due out 17th Dec 2019 from DK, it's 176 pages and will be available in paperback format.
The author is a well known keto lifestyle recipe developer and writer of cookbooks for the keto lifestyle.

This book is certainly very well organized. The first 15% of the page content covers the introduction, definitions and concepts involved in meal prep, along with lists of very basic kitchen utensils and storage items. The author discusses some of the side effects of ketosis and benefits of getting through the initial adjustment period. There are also lists of staples with quantities to have on hand for maximum efficiency.

The following chapters contain the 8 weeks of meal plans: recipes along with ingredient measures, shopping lists, yields, prep time and other essentials. Many (but not all) of the recipes are illustrated. The photography which is included is very clear and well done. Ingredient measurements are supplied in American and standard (metric) measurements. The nutritional information: fat, carbs, protein content are listed for the recipes as well as serving sizes. Extra tips or recipe alternatives are listed in sidebars with the recipes. The recipes themselves are fairly straightforward and are made with easily sourced ingredients. Many are very simple, none of them are overly complex. Most of the recipes are photographed, the photos show the meals in their meal-prep containers. The photographs are small, but clear and easy to follow.

This is a beautifully presented very well organized book. I would definitely recommend it to any of my friends who are looking to make their food prep even more efficient and keto friendly. Once a week cooking can be made family friendly, but I'm not sure how easily these meals can be incorporated into a family style meal environment. This would work very well for singles or for one person (or whole family) following a keto-friendly diet.

Five stars.

This cook book is perfect for anyone who is struggling to get back on track or anyone who wants to start but isnt sure where to begin. There were so many things I loved that Aaron Day did in this book. He gives you recipes for the week. He takes out the stress of figuring out what your going to eat! It doesn’t stop there, he even gives you the shopping list, what equipment you’ll need and what to do ON YOUR PREP DAY! And of course he gives you the mouth watering recipes. I loved this book. I plan on getting this for myself and my father. Such a great book to help you get started or get you back on track!

4/5 Stars.

This is a great tool for anyone on the Keto diet. It is packed with meal plans and recipes that are both delicious and easy to make. I especially like that each week is detailed with grocery store lists and a play-by-play of the day to day meals over an eight week time frame. It really helps take the guess work out of making and preparing your meals.

This book also offers information about the Keto diet and a basic information section on why the diet is done. It also is a great source for material and knowledge about utensils (plastic vs. glass was particularly good) and what type of cooking items you will need to stock up in your kitchen. I found this useful, because it is easy to forget a crucial item such as a large enough pot to cook your dishes in when you first begin this journey.

I recommend this to anyone ready to begin their Keto journey.

Keto cookbooks are often full of the same recipes and there generally is not much of a difference between one book and another. I enjoyed how this cookbook helped you to meal prep. When people ask me about the keto diet the first question I often get is- do you meal prep? Short answer: Yes. You have to meal prep on keto or you will not succeed. This cookbook helps you to meal plan which will, in turn, help you to be successful on the diet. I would definitely recommend this cookbook to those looking to begin a keto diet!

I read and reviewed this book as a free advanced complimentary book from NetGalley

Ohhhh, I'm really excited to try these! I love the simplicity of the pictured (meal plate) charts. A lot of these recipes sounds good. I was a fan of Aaron's Keto Sweet Tooth Cookbook, so I'm sure these are just as good. I do love the idea of meal prepping for the week. Saves time in the evenings if nothing is planned or short on time.

I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
