First of all a big thank you to the author, Netgalley and the publishers for sending me a copy of this book to read and review.

This was charming and fun and I really enjoyed this one. Going into this I got a little confused however this is down to the fact that it’s the second in a series, which I didn’t know. As on goodreads it’s not listed as a series and I only saw the other book when I went onto the authors profile. If I had known I would have read the other book first. This was still a fast paced and entertaining read.

If you are looking for a hilarious romantic comedy! This book is for you. This book resonates with the audience so well because most of us are Hannah. I just loved this book so much.

Unfortunately I did not manage to read this book at the time; and it is no longer a book I'd be interested in reading. Many thanks to the publisher for approving my request, and my apologies for being unable to provide a full review.

Faking It is the perfect lighthearted, fun read if you’re looking for something not so serious. We meet Hannah Thompson, who is a relatable mother and wife, trying to juggle it all. She is working on publishing her first novel, a work of erotica, while trying to hide that from her kids because…well…she doesn’t want them to know what she’s been (tastefully) writing.

What I loved most about this book was how supportive her husband was. That is ALWAYS appreciated when I read novels, especially with moms. Being a mother myself, if my husband wasn’t supportive between everything I do I would absolutely lose it.

Hannah decides to take on an alter ego and write a little more on the naught side and finds herself about to be the guest speaker at a sex convention. The research she does with her friends was just hilarious. I could see myself in her shoes!

4 stars. If you’re a fan of chick lit, you’ll enjoy this one!

I am usually all in for a book in which a character explores and embraces sexuality, but I just did not care about this woman.

I tried to read this a few times, but the format of the ARC was wonky, and I had a hard time actually reading the text because of it.

This was a sweet, easy read during a time when I needed something that was relaxing and available to pick up & put down. I think this author did a great job at creating lively characters with opinions and lives of their own while still maintaining the overall plot. This was my first foray into Rebecca Smith’s writing and I can easily call it a great summer pick!

This book imagines what would happen if a suburban wife and mom was also a successful erotica writer. Waiting for her to be discovered, reading about her trying to keep her secret, and maintain her mom facade will leave you giggling.

Thank you to Netgalley and to the publisher for giving me this book to review.

I had to DNF this as I do not think this book is for me. It started off very slow and I couldn't get my teeth into so-to-speak. While this book was not one for me due to the slowness, lack of humour that was promised and the fact it bored me, it could be for another reader! Just make sure you read the synopsis and see if it seems up your alley.

I DNF-ed the book at around 20%. It was really slow and even though I tried, I could not keep reading.

An easy read but sadly not for me. I did not realise this was a sequel so a lot of the backstory was lost for me.

I absolutely loved this book! I was so engrossed by the characters right off the bat. Her writing is out of this world, if you've been in a reading slump this is a great place to start, it absolutely blew me away!

Thank you to the publisher for my eARC copy of this book. Unfortunately I didn’t love this book and therefore didn’t finish, I just didn’t connect with this one. Not for me, sorry.

I got to 20% of this one and couldn’t go on.
Not what I was looking for unfortunately.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an eArc to review.

I really enjoyed reading this book- it made me laugh A LOT! It also made me cringe at times or roll my eyes. But that makes it an amusing read to me. I enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read another from this author!

This was a fun premise, but the execution didn't quite match up to what I was hoping. The start was a bit slow, and there were some character inconsistencies. But there's no question Rebecca Smith knows how to come up with a unique and interesting story!

I am sorry for the inconvenience but I don’t have the time to read this anymore and have lost interest in the concept. I believe that it would benefit your book more if I did not read your book quickly and write a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience.

This book had a interesting premise that I was ultimately let down by. I tried to start this book multiple times but the writing and the secret stressed me out. As a reader who reads to relax this book wasn’t my cup of tea.
