This was a pretty good book providing tips that are easy to take action on when it comes to overcoming burnout. I just found that it went on a little long and got a little repetitive.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. This is a good book for those who might be complacent at work.

• The only good thing about this book is the inspirational tone and the importance of mindfulness and savoring the good things in life.
• All of the recommendations seemed 100% personal opinion based rather than based on any research or studies.
• This book had repetitive tips; treat yourself to something delicious and another was eat something delicious, another repetitive one; give yourself a massage and give yourself a loving touch where there’s tips on how to give yourself a massage.
• I don’t enjoy being critical of books, especially when an author has taken the time to create and push something out into the world with good intentions, but this book is going on my DO NOT recommend reading list.
• Disappointing. When I read a personal development book, I find the best books have at minimum an introduction about why this author was compelled to write this book. You would except a bit about why this author is certified in providing advice, because they have experience and the tips they’ve included are the things that helped them overcome obstacles in their own life. There also was no ending to this book to pull it all together.

Did Not Finish, 1 star review.

Great book if you're looking for LOOOTS of ideas on how to relax, get out of your head and basically get in touch with your inner self. I wish I had this in print so I could highlight and underline and mark. But it was still a great read and packed with tips.

It’s very relaxing just reading the ideas and imagining how I would apply it to my everyday life. There are a few ideas that do overlap (not surprising given there are 200 of them) but they all bring a lot of insight and emphasis on the notion of understanding yourself, your thought, and your emotions.

I found a few activities that I really plan on applying for myself. I love how encouraging and kind the author was; I felt like she was guiding the way as I read through her exercises.

As a lover of (long) lists, I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend. Whether it's quickly breezing through the ideas or reading in depth the descriptions, everyone can gain something out of it. Uplifting and inspiring, Fuel Your Fire is a book you can pick up whenever you're feeling tired or feeling down.

3 stars!

A solid book on how to overcome a burnout. And as your resident burn out-er (is this a word?) I approve of the steps. Divided into four category, Fuel Your Fire listed 200 ways to deal with a burn out. All steps are manageable and easy to be done and it is better to try them all one by one and combine some from the section to get the best results.

This is a book is essentially a list of ways you can attempt to resent your burned out self. It’s not an intellectual or philosophical read, but actionable. I did not find it as helpful, but see how is could be. Would probably be more useful as physical book as opposed to an ebook for making preferred exercises, etc.

I feel like I stumbled upon this book at exactly the right time. I've been feeling burnout with my writing lately but this book offered a ton of activities/guidance that helps you get out of a burnout rut and find passion in what you do. It was so uplifting and helped me feel less bad about my burnout and instead focusing on finding joy in my career. That seems like such a helpful way to approach the issue and help people get back on the right track after being burned out for so long.

This was such an inspiring book! Very uplifting. The author is so positive and makes me wish she was my best friend. I now feel very motivated to get myself organized and balanced out in life as far as my work and home life. It is so easy to experience burnout this day in time. Not only at work but outside of work. We need a healthy balance of work, play, mental health, physical health and our relationships. And don’t forget some “me” time. We are bad to get less sleep. This is one thing I’ve done a lot better with and it has made a big difference. I hardly ever get sick anymore. I think everyone could take something from this book. It will be a great book to go back to every time I need a pick me up, whether I’m feeling down or overwhelmed with life and work or just to stay inspired.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher. And thank you author for writing this. You are truly a blessing.

I really enjoyed this book and want to give thanks to the published for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

I started a new job last year and 6 months into the job, I realized I was getting burnt out quickly. The first thing I did was remove my work email from my phone and that was life changing. This book is helpful with this!

It comes with so many different ideas on how to not burn out and thrive with what you want to do. This book is an easy read and in a great format for you to find what you need! It helps you with self-care when you don't know what to do next!

I just could not get into this book. I read a lot of self help books, but this one was just not compelling enough for me so I was not able to finish it.

Easy to ready and pretty witty. The Author uses some pretty common sense techniques many of us take for granted. I enjoyed reading it, and got through it pretty quickly.

This is a lovely book for dipping into and reading a page for a bit of feel good magic. The instructions and ideas are basic and there is nothing new but the ideas executed or mulled over at just the right time will have an uplifting effect. I don't think it should be just for when you are feeling burnt out, it is an anytime feel good book. I think the layout was good for digital but hopefully the hard copy will be a bit more colourful and enticing inside. Overall an inspiring little book

I loved this title. In setting up my journal for the next year, I plan to incorporate the mind/body tips and techniques on a weekly, if not daily basis. The format made it easy to search and pick areas of need and the ideas are practical and not overwhelming or expensive. It's going to be one of my favorites and I can't wait to get a hard copy to share with like-minded friends.

I was approved for this book on NetGalley and finished it on the same day. I LOVED this nonfiction book!⁣

As a full time working mom with a high stress job, my self care and needs have really taken the back burner so HELLO burnout. Just reading this book made me feel better! I highlighted section after section because it was all truly helpful. It comes with an array of ideas to help you get out of surviving and back into thriving, wherever your burnout is happening. The ideas are practical and straightforward. I’m going to be implementing many of these ideas going forward because I truly love what I do and don’t want to feel negative about my work space. This is a book I will be going back to time and time again! I highly recommend if you are feeling bogged down in your work or home life. Even if you are struggling with self care or stress, and not necessarily full burnout, this book would be a useful tool for you. 5⭐️⁣

Thank you to the publisher for advance copy in exchange for my honest review!
