Great empowering read. I’m not much for non fiction and self help type things, but having done a course in leadership there is so much life-coach stuff that is useful to everyone and doesn’t have to be preachy. This is that kind of book. Non preachy, helpful ways to make more of your own potential and time, find ways to be stronger and plan ahead for life improvement.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for letting me access an advance copy of this book in exchange for my feedback.

Not really my bag at all. A very shallow world view, and a flawed philosophy. I found it rather distasteful.

Using journaling and the process of scripting, you can manifest what you want in life. With a step by step guide to scripting and how to set out intentions that you want in life, you can pick up this book and learn how to manifest through scripting. Royce has been scripting for most of his life, and supplies written diary entries of his own to show how he started and how his scripting evolved over the years.
Although you do get instructions on how to script and how to get the most out of scripting, with multiple exercises to complete; there is also a lot of scientific detail into how and why it works. Some of which I only understood because I’ve watched The Big Bang Theory!
There are some nice easy bits where you can relate to Royce and understand how he came to do what he does but for the most part it is heavily academic and scientific as mentioned, there were a lot of words used that could have been very confusing if you did not have a basic understanding of it. Although he tries to explain it in some detail, Royce is not a scientist (as he repeats throughout the book) so there is only so much you can take away from it.
For the most part, I enjoyed it. I like learning about manifesting and the variety of ways that manifesting takes place. I love to journal so this felt like it would be perfect for me, I just struggled with the information on quantum mechanics and the like. There were plenty of exercises and instructions on how to do them and Royce provided his own journal entries which is always helpful to see, especially if you are new to the idea of manifesting. I loved seeing his wants and intentions come to life.
My least favourite part of the book would have to be the science behind it all - although interesting could have been left out as there wasn't any real way to minimise it.
There are photos throughout the book which help with visualising what your journal could look like and there were some from his early days on his new job that he scripted into reality. It was nice to see that it worked for him.
Overall, I liked learning a new way of manifesting and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the art of manifesting but also learning the science behind it and how it works.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for gifting a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

In this well-researched and profoundly personal text, Royce concentrates on one of the most popular manifesting tools - scripting.

Complete with extensive research, he explores the science behind how, and perhaps why, the scripting method works. He even delves into, albeit at an elementary level, quantum mechanics. (I LOVED THIS PART!) Further, his exhaustive list of references offers interested readers with material for additional study.

Highly recommended for readers familiar with Mitch Horowitz and Lynn Grabhorn.

Write down your intentions for each day, visualize it and it will manifest.
Common sense and awareness in my opinion, but maybe others need an extra stimulans.

This interesting new book offers a system of journaling in the vein of "the power of positive thinking" and "attractive theory." The premise of the book is that if you write down what you want to happen, it will happen. I tried this method, and I'll have to say it helped me better focus my time and efforts, I was indeed more productive as I tried this method.

The author delves into quantum physics to attempt to explain why the method work. I gamely followed him through a pretty good layman's explanation of quantum physics and brain science. At some point, however, it became too much for me. At the point where a couple of famous scientists suggested that the whole universe is a simulation (of what???), he lost me.

However, as a system of journaling, I found this book helpful. The Scripting system is really a discipline of becoming very, very focused in your journaling and in your life, concentrating on what you really want out of life. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and found it fascinating.

A look at his story, like being on tv with Selena Gomez, and names and books introduced. Master manifested, intentions, daily scripting, some q&as about scripting, and other topics introduced. Nice topics talked about.

Reading Scripting the Life You Want, I found it to be hard to read with the REVIEW ONLY placed throughout the novel. Beyond that, I thought this is a new way of thinking about scripting my life. The way the author explains various subjects that dealt with science, experiences, and self-care. Overall, I enjoyed reading this novel.

Great book! I am new to scripting, so this helped me understand it so much more!! I enjoyed how clear and precise it was worded!
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for allowing me to review this title.

i really enjoyed this book! The ARC was a little hard to read with the FOR REVIEW ONLY splayed across and in the middle of each page breaking up sentences but that was at no fault to the author. While reading, I highlighted a lot of what the author was stating and this will be something that I refer to over and over again as I try to bring new positivity and truly bring in what is is that I want in my life.

My only downside is the science behind it. While great to have as a solid foundation, I would have preferred it as an extra chapter in the back, it truly took away from the author's light-hearted writing style and I browsed through those pages.

“Scripting the Life You Want” is different from any other New Age/New Thought book in that it offers practical tips for manifesting your ideal life through writing in a journal on a daily basis.

The daily journaling exercises actually sound feasible for those who enjoy writing, but this technique might not be favorable to those who aren’t comfortable with writing long journal entries every day.

The tone of the book was casual at first, then changed to dry and scientific. The incongruity of the first half of the book with the second was rather off-putting.

Despite the style of writing, this book contained several interesting points and I will certainly consider following the author’s advice to write daily scripts.

This is a very odd book, the first part is written in a very childlike way (both written by and addressing another child). Then bizarrely it presents very complex quantum physics subjects and the author turns into a science geek. I was confused with the photographs of a handwritten scribbly pages as though to prove a point when in actual fact they could have been written by anyone at anytime. The teenage examples used to support the material were tedious and not relatable to the majority of people who will read the book. It really didn't feel as though the same person had written both halves. However I think the author himself is very interesting and I love the way he is a thinker and constantly analysing things. The book itself just needs rethinking, maybe it is really two books. One basic one on how to script, and a more complex one with the authors ideas and experiments in quantum physics. Overall the author is very interesting and I really like what he is doing, this book however is very mixed up.
