Activities include a mad-lib, search-a-word, match the animal to its silhouette, circle which animal doesn't belong in each state park, and so on. It's best suited for younger kids. This could be a great companion book to a trip to a national park.

A few different types of activities for kids to do to learn about what may be seen in a USA national park. Not a lot of activities but still pretty well put together.

I have an abiding and unusual interest in The National Parks of the U.S., especially considering I have visited only a handful in my life so far. I also love a certain type of art in books for children. This activity book combines both of these interests in one fun package. Though I enjoyed flipping through the pages, each with lovely illustrations, this book is really an activity book. With interactive pages like a maze, a crossword puzzle, word jumbles, and more, it is easy to imagine this book keeping a child occupied during a drive or flight, especially if the destination was one or more of the National Parks. Suitable for upper elementary, independent readers, this book is full of interesting facts about the parks, their landscapes, animals, and plant life. It could work with younger children, but it would require a lot of adult support. Overall, a fun and beautiful reminder of all the places we could go!

What a lovely book door young travelers, or national Park enthusiasts at any age. I'm a nerd for the parks and I want to share every moment with my young children now.

Great book to accompany travel. The description made me expect activities for older but the activities are aimed at young children.

Fantastic! I love this book! I'm impressed by the creativity and the assortment of activities, I only wish it was longer! The blank map at the very beginning, the true or false, the board game - I think all the activities are excellent. The only thing I would recommend is to put a target number in the 'spot the difference' activity, so the kids know when they have found them all. Great activity book!

The art is lovely and the information is perfect for the age group. I think this would be a great activity book for road trips, especially for families who want to get kids away from screens.My only side note would be that I know the ebook version is only for review but it made some of the activities impossible to do.

This activity book is awesome! It has many activities to do. I loved it as an adult and will be buying these for my kids on our upcoming road trip to a few of these parks. These are a fantastic addition to family road trips! Kids and adults alike will enjoy these fun activities. It’s informative and FUN!
