I loved this book! It's well-written, enjoyable, and a great read. Nicole Macaulay did a great job of writing in a way that captures the readers attention, and makes you not want to put it down until you're finished! I would highly recommend it!

This was a fun read. I loved the plot and thought it was an original idea. The adventure she got into was entertaining.

I’d love to have been able to reviewed this but it never downloaded, so I’ll give it a mid range score to be fair

I thought this was very fun! And when I read it, it was the start of lockdown and loved the travel aspect. I enjoyed the romance and the mystery aspect. Very enjoyable.

I am sorry for the inconvenience but I don’t have the time to read this anymore and have lost interest in the concept. I believe that it would benefit your book more if I did not skim your book and write a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience.

The main character was not relatable and I found that she was all over the place with her thoughts. I couldn’t get past the first chapter of this.

I really enjoy reading rom-coms. Idk what it is but I can always envision it being played out like in a movie. I really enjoyed following Lucy on her adventure. Reading this book reminded me how much I still want to travel and take adventures myself. I would definitely recommend this book if your a sucker for a fun summer read!

We follow our main character, Lucy, as she navigates through her life, trying to find happiness and love.
She is one of the siblings in a large family, where her role is kind of a "fixer" type. She usually the one who is helping out various family members, especially if there is a crisis to be solved.
So, is it a big surprise when she forgets abuout one, small thing? Even if it is a honeymoon?
Leave it for her to eat her cake - she decides to have a honeymoon alone? (Should it be called singlemoon? Sounds nice!)
One minor detail that she also was completely unaware that at this special resort there are couples to be found.
So, is it totally ironic, that amongst the hunks, she actually, might be able to find her perfect match?

A lighthearteded rom-com that kept me entertained and intrigued. This is the perfect book to read while on vacation, sitting by the pool or on the beach, or just for a distraction from your daily life! I loved the characters and felt like I really got to know them and their process toward self-discovery! 4 out of 5 stars - thank you NetGalley!

When you pretend to be someone else… while staying in a honeymoon suite and you aren’t married?

Lucy has always done things for other people but never just for herself. She just wants to make everyone happy and make her family happy. Bringing a fake date to your sisters wedding… will never end well and Lucy figures that out really fast. So she decides to take the other honeymoon that her sister didn’t take and just go on an adventure! Off to London Lucy goes and the adventure is just about to beginning. Seeing someone from her past who she hated, plus an angry bellhop that wants to find out the truth about Lucy. Staying at a honeymoon only hotel might get Lucy into trouble if someone finds out before she leaves. Who knows what trouble she will get in!

Lucy as a character speaks to me, because of how not spontaneous she is. This happened to me during COVID. Wanting to go places but not being able too and now being scared to go and get sick. So here I am not spontaneous anymore and trying to change it. This book also has me wanting to go overseas yet again. So hopefully I can do something like Lucy has! Well maybe not exactly the same! I would recommend this book to anyone that needs a good old romance novel! 4/5 only because I think parts went a little slow and I just wanted something else to happen.

Lucy lives a predictable life and doesn't take risks. After meeting a psychic at her sister's wedding, Lucy decided that she is tired of her predictability and takes off on an adventure in London, using her sister's unused extra honeymoon. As with all romance books, Lucy meets someone in London and lets fate take the wheel. This book was quirky and cute and fun to read. I will definitely check out more from this author in the future.

First of all big thank you to Netgalley, the publishers and the author for sending me a copy of this book to read and review.

I could not put this one down. It kept me entertained all the way through. Even though I guessed the last major twist, half of anyway, I still really enjoyed it! I loved how the main point of the story is that she is finding herself, having adventures and learning to love life!

I can’t figure out why this fell short for me, but it did. I started skimming/reading fast around the 50% mark. I think maybe the whole notion of the book just seemed a little ridiculous for me.

I will attempt to read this again in the future, but at this time it isn't suiting my mood. I appreciate the opportunity and will leave reviews on Goodreads and Amazon after reading it.
Thank you to BooksGoSocial and NetGalley for the arc.

I enjoyed this well enough, it was a well paced, interesting read. It wasn't overly memorable but that's OK sometimes too.

HONEYMOON ALONE started off a cute fake marriage rom-com where the main character Lucy decided to go to London and use her sister's extra honeymoon venue as a vacation from her life. While she's there she pretends to be married to Cary, an ex school classmate, to keep the honeymoon hotel staff from catching onto the lie. A love triangle (square?) develops when Lucy starts to fall for one of the hotel staff members and becomes more interested in who Cary is.

Overall, HONEYMOON ALONE was a cute story and I enjoyed it up until the 75% mark. I felt the story was missing something that would give it that extra oomph or spark. I found it difficult to be invested and continue my interest in the characters, especially when it came to the romance.

I started this months ago, and I have zero desire to finish it. I hate reviewing books I don't finish, but I just can't myself pick this back up. This just wasn't for me. I'm sorry!

This book is a quirky & lighthearted rom-com that makes you smile. I read this book in two sittings and thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters in this story are so well written and relatable. I would definitely recommend this book to other rom-com lovers.
