I am so grateful to have been able to read a preview of this book. I cannot wait to read the rest! Samiah Brooks realizes she's being cat-fished, along with two other women Taylor and London. The women stand up against the offender and form a bond. It is very refreshing to read a story where women band together instead of fighting. All three women are amazing strong characters with admirable jobs and interests. I would love to be friends with all of these women! This book is very well written with dynamic story telling and rich character development.

I was given an extended preview by NetGalley, and unfortunately, this did not work for me. Excessive exposition and small talk, a cliche "he cheated on me" opening chapter. Throwing so many characters together at the outset who are all strangers makes for a lot of "she said" and no depth of character, personality, or disposition. I also find the "I'm a woman with a lot of nice stuff, so I'm empowered" a harmful stereotype of female empowerment. Women are capable and desirable even without their "full package" mustang and their designer makeup. I would appreciate seeing more of her workplace from the getgo than this whole exploration of the cultural pressure for women to couple with men to be complete. It's a well addressed cultural pressure at this point--just dive into the story. I appreciate this is bringing a diverse cast of characters, which is definitely important in any romance, but even with that, this story seems like it's not for me.

This was an extended preview of the book. I hit the end of the preview and was so sad it stopped!
The storyline was great, and the fact that the 3 women decided to keep in touch after being played by the same guy was awesome.
The idea of it being based around a viral video was an excellent idea on the authors part. It's very consistent of how things are now with social media. Farrah did an excellent job with the writing, everything Samiah did or felt, you as the reader felt too, I was mad and peeved along with her!!!
I wish I had been lucky enough to review the full book, as I didn't want to stop reading!

It was a good thing I read the preview of this book because this book was not my cup of tea. I liked the idea of the novel, but the writing style and characters did not work well in my opinion. This might work for some people, but it did not work well for me.,

This preview was fantastic! It made me so excited to be approved for the full book. It provided just enough of a sampling to get you engaged in the story line and start understanding how the book was going to start unfolding but not enough to start giving away the good stuff!

I love this book, It is a great fun romantic comedy.
Samiah figurers out through social media her boyfriend Craig is dating 2 other women, and they all confront him at a restaurant and it is very funny.
I can not wait to read the whole book and see what Samiah and her new bffs get up to and also what happens between Samiah and the really cute new guy at work!

This preview sets up what looks to be a fun read. I would be interested in continuing to read this book.

This is way to detailed for my taste and the old "show, don't tell" doesn't apply in this text. The idea of the story is fun but as far as I could read not great executed.

I need this book NOW! I was so caught up in the story that when I hit the end of the extended review, I wanted to cry. Such great characters. Samiah, along with her sister and her two new gal pals were everything you could ask for: smart, strong, successful, sexy, and sassy. I loved their fast friendship, as well as the relationship between Samiah and her family. We were just getting to know Daniel and he's totally piqued my interest. What exactly is he up to? Hmm, can't wait for the release when I'll get to find out, plus enjoy the wonderful, fun ride this romantic comedy is sure to take us readers on!

A fun preview of what looks like should be an enjoyable, light read that makes me want to read more! Love the combination of sisterhood and the budding office romance the preview hints at - am intrigued to see how the characters develop and look forward to reading more.

The Boyfriend Project is one of my most anticipated summer releases! This extended preview just made me want more! I love romances with heroines that have strong female friendships and I think this one will get even better than the preview. And the cover is adorable so major bonus points there!

The characters seems interesting.
I loved the cover, but since it's a preview, I did not get fully engaged in the story. Nonetheless I will definitely need to finish it.
Thank you netgalley for the opportunity to read this extended preview

The Boyfriend Project extended preview is so enticing. It hooked me into the story of a sassy woman who exposed her catfishing boyfriend. I thought the premise is so appealing with the right amount of humor, romance, and drama. I'm so excited to read more!

Wow this book definitely hooked me in this excerpt! I am dying to read the rest now!! This reminds me a little bit of the set up behind another series I recently loved but the fall-out will be totally different and I can't wait.

Oh wow. It starts with the main character along with two other women realising they were catfished by a man dating all of them at the same time. There's a video gone viral, it's a whole mess. I love that the women are instantly on each other's side and there's no sign of animosity between them. Plus the love interest appears at the end of the excerpt and he is definitely hiding something which should prove very interesting considering the main character has a recent history with men pretending to be someone else. I'm very curious about how the author will deal with this.

This excerpt of The Boyfriend Project by Farrah Rochon promises a light and flirtatious rom-com with some very independent and self-assured women. I really enjoyed the opening chapter of the three women confronting the man who catfished them all. It was so quick-witted and refreshing to read female camaraderie in the face of such a shocking dating scenario. I'll be excited to read more about Samiah and her friends, and to see what happens between Samiah and the new cute guy at work.

I loved reading this preview of The Boyfriend Project! I just wished it was the whole book - I cannot wait to read the rest to find out what's next for Samiah. She is the main character who finds out the guy she is dating is also dating 2 other women!! She confronts him during a date with another woman, then a third woman comes in as well - it's all caught on video for social media, and chaos ensues. She then becomes friends with the other two women and then a new cute co-worker catches her eye....and that's when the preview ends! This is going to be a fun rom com book - can't wait to read the rest!
