This is such a cute journal. It is way ore then your average blank white page notebook though. I love self-help journals and this one is by far a stand out. It has prompts for each section and really guides you though different thought processes. It helps you to notice the little things like smells and why you like certain music. It forces you to be reflective. I can assume that it would be useful if someone is going though a stressful time to have something to look back on. It doesn't require you to write a lot which I personally like. I can't wait to fill this up with ideas and thoughts. I am so excited. Thank you Netgalley and Girl Friday Productions for this PERFECT journal. |

I am 100% full of sass 100% of the time. This book just helps me get it all out without hurting anyone's feelings. The prompts are great, the colors are fun. This is an amazing book for anyone who isn't afraid of actually thinking outside of the box. |
A much needed workbook of all the things we need for ourselves during this time! I received this ARC thanks to Netgalley and it was right up my alley with bright, fun colors and prompts I needed right now. I would highly recommend for anyone hoping to lighten the mood. Trendy and fun, this was unlike anything I’d ever read before! |

I love journals! I’ve been journalling since I learned how to write. And journal prompts are super fun. I was excited to see this book filled with tons of prompts and beautiful graphics and colours. There are also lots of quotes which are uplifting and inspiring. Each prompt and page has plenty of space to write out your feelings and answers. My favourite prompt is list your top 3 favourite books and why? Thank you to Netgalley, Girl Friday Productions and Remington8 Books for a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions are my own. Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Available Now! |
I loved the promptS this journal gives you! I have been wanting to start journaling for the longest time and I think this was the best way to start for me. It has lovely and empowering quotes throughout the journal that I liked very much. |
This is a cute, modern take on a gratitude journal. People will buy this for the aesthetic, not the originality of the concept. The design is bright, colorful, and happy. The quotes interspersed throughout the book are from millennial popular culture favorites. I do like how the journal is continuous. By the end you have a numbered list of 201 things to be grateful for. |
Thank you NetGalley and publishers for an ARC. This is a really fun and engaging journal. It does contain some language as to be expected by the title. I enjoyed the approach to looking at being zen and mindfulness with power and enthusiasm. It east fun to interact with the colors and quotes. I would recommend this in the summer or anytime you need stone fun color and wisdom! |
I absolutely love this journal! It gives me LIFE. Helped me find f*cks to give! It’s so cute, has amazing prompts, and the quotes are everything. I want to use this journal every damn day! So much inspiration to live a life well-lived. I can’t wait to share this with all my friends. |
"With this guided journal, you'll replenish your store of f*cks to give (...) You can page through it when life gives you f*cking cratefuls of lemons." -Ooh, that's where the cover came from! This guided gratitude journal is a godsend for people skeptical of journals for a jillion of reasons: - It maintains a relaxed tone; in other words, there's no pretending you're William Shakespeare. - It's certainly young; we're talking journaling about memes. - Every page is different, good for people like me who get bored easily. - It's PRETTY with a variety of colors and fonts. - Has an instagrammable layout with entire pages of inspirational quotes. - The prompts are more creative than other journals I've seen. I really do believe it gives you results in the form of gratitude and overall satisfaction, even though it pretends to be a silly journal. However, a word of caution is needed: perhaps it's obvious from the cover page, but there are A LOT of curse words inside. Perhaps too many, not necessary to achieve the desired result, but it's still an awesome present for yourself or a friend. *Thank you to the Publisher for a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. |
If you love journal prompted books this one is for you!! The humor and blunt realities are put thoughtfully into the prompts, with quotes from people that actually make you think, and questions that will cause you to introspect. I had a fun time writing in my journal. Do you journal? Are you a prompt-driven journalist or a free-spirited one? Happy Journaling! [ I will be posting my review next Tuesday on my social media handles ] Thank you to Netgalley and Remington8 Books for this opportunity! |
This is absolutely the perfect book for quarantine life! It's basically a journal with prompts that help remind you of 201 of the 'reasons to give a sh*t.' The book offers suggestions on ways to come up with tons of reasons the world is great (everything from times when strangers have offered acts of kindness to your favorite songs to dance to). It's well-organized so that you can complete the prompts without feeling too overwhelmed (it actually feels pretty easy to come up with 201 happy things this way). There are also some really inspiring quotes and fun graphics that make it a light read. It feels like it's aimed a little bit towards YA readers, but in reality, this would be good for anyone who needs a reminder that it's the small joys in life that make our time worth living. |
This work/self-help book on to why to give a shit was funny and handy. I give too many shits, so a bit of guidance is always welcome. The design of the pages were colourful and fun. You have more than enough space to write things down. It is fun to get and do yourself, or buy it for a friend as amusing gift. |
I have to be honest, I was disappointed in this book. I know it's supposed to be a guided journal and not a self-help book, but I was hoping for a little bit more substance. Each page is cutely decorated, but I found the content to be hollow and repetitive. |

It's only fair to say that I love this book to pieces and that I can't wait to hold it's physical form in my hands. This book is your personal graditude teacher in the form of your half-drunk best friends in plush-slippers. I freaking love it. Over the last years I tried graditude exercises a lot and they really do help me but way too often I stop after some time because it just slips away. This book is full of amazing questions and tasks, quotes and colours and pictures that just pull you in and make you smile. This book is for you if you want to enjoy your own life again more and more each day. It asked you about your favourite songs, about your fluffy or not so fluffy pets and about every good thing that ever happened to you or that you could do. Maybe even today. It's not all passive writing, it asks you to stand up and do something too. And it isn't all zen about it. It talks to you like your slightly over enthusiastic best friend, who after all, really gets you and makes you smile when you need it the most. When you're done you have a whole book of your personal f*cks to give. And I think we can all use a book like that. |

Journalling is one thing that can really help during stressful times, like the current pandemic climate. This is the perfect journal for the occasionally vulgar person who just needs to destress. |
I always wanted to have a habitual journaling practice, but oftentimes I feel at a loss for what I can write about. This book offers prompts that are helpful in not only getting a journaling habit going, but also helps with daily gratitude! |
This journal was very fun to explore, filled with many interesting prompts and questions, that guide the reader towards internal reflection. It's also filled with beautiful illustrations, inspirational quotes, and fun graphics that really make it stand out. |
